Dates - SEAG Assessments Test 1 - Saturday 11th November 2023 Test 2 - Saturday 25th November 2023

SEAG Mornings – Times •Arrival time 9.15 am – 9:30 am •Aim for 9.15 am •Please do not arrive before 9.15 am •Collection time 11.20 am (extra time 11.35 am) •Exam security paramount Doors will open at 9:15 am and will remain closed until 11.20 am
Drop Off • There is NO car parking on site each morning • Park nearby and then walk through the front gates and up the drive • On arrival pupils and their parent(s)/guardian(s) should go to their drop off point • Wristband/flag colour will direct you to your zone • Each pupil will be met by a member of staff and prefects who will escort them to their assessment room • Parents/Guardians will not be permitted beyond this point
Forgotten your exam room? Don’t worry • Information will be on your letter – keep it in a safe place • Your coloured wristband will indicate your drop off point • Go to the Whitla Hall and staff will escort you to your room
Clothing
Pupils should wear school uniform
SEAG Equipment Each Saturday remember: •Bring your SEAG registration card •You will be given pencils and rubber to use •Tissues and water will be available in the room •Clock will be in each room •Pupils will be prompted by the invigilator regarding time
SEAG Equipment Each Saturday DO NOT bring the following: • Mobile phones • Other electronic devices • Watch/Smart Watch • Food or drink • Lucky mascots

Assessment Rooms • Assessment rooms will be set up as indicated this morning • Today pupils will sit in their allocated seat for the tests • Pupils register each morning of the test in their assessment room like they will this morning • Pupil must have their registration card for each week

Pick up
Pick Up •Waiting area with refreshments are available during test – Whitla Hall •Pupils will be released from the test rooms to the pick-up zones. These are the same zones as you used for drop off. •From 11:20 am or later if access arrangements permit extra time •Do not arrive any later than 11:30 am
Important Information
Format of SEAG test •1 hour 15 mins in duration (including Practice Test) •Assesses English and Mathematics •Two tests •No supplementary test
Toilet •Prefects will show pupils where the toilets are and there will be an opportunity to go to the toilet before the test •Pupils should only ask to go to the toilet during the test in an absolute emergency •They should put their hand up and wait for the invigilator •If a pupil goes to the toilet during the test, they will not get any additional time
Late Arrivals
If the candidate arrives to the examination centre, they will not be permitted to sit that day’s assessment
Feeling Sick
• If this happens during the exam, they should raise their hand quietly and wait for the invigilator • Invigilators will support them
Fire Alarm
• No planned fire alarms! • Invigilators will deal with this situation • Exam will resume once the all clear is given • Full time given
On the Day • Unexpected illness but still able to do the test? • Please speak to member of staff at your zone when you arrive for the assessment • We will ensure help and support is available
Please keep your mobile phone on so that we can contact you throughout the morning
Access Arrangements • Any child who might otherwise be prevented from taking the Entrance Assessment or whose performance is likely to be impaired by illness, injury, condition or disability may be granted access arrangements • Parents/Guardians must have applied for Access Arrangements and had them approved by SEAG before or at the time of the Entrance Assessment • If access arrangements are required just before an assessment, contact SEAG.
