Besides a potential Round of 32 matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers, the undefeated than playing the Wildcats and the Midwest Region, the Cards instead received an undersized East University of Kentucky Wildcats should have no problem reaching the Final Four in Indianapolis. Region number one seed in Villanova and a short-handed second seeded Virginia team. With With 7-footers A.J. Hammonds and Isaac Haas, Purdue is one of the few teams that can match this said, Louisville did receive an extremely tough potential Round of 32 matchup against the Kentucky’s size and strength; however, due to poor shooting and a high turnover rate, the Northern Iowa Panthers. The Panthers are led by Missouri Valley Player of the Year Seth Tuttle, who Boilermakers cannot offensively compete with the Cats. Notre Dame and Maryland, the three and averages 15.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Northern Iowa also shoots the ball well, as the four seeds in the Midwest Region, are offensively solid but lack the defensive ability and depth to Panthers are 48 percent on all field goals — including 40 percent from beyond the three point line. play 40 minutes with the Wildcats. Lastly, the second seeded Kansas is by far the worst number two seed in the field, with the Wildcats having previously crushed them 72-40. There are upsets in the NCAA Tournament every single year. Number twelve seeds are 6-2 against number five seeds since 2013, and that trend will continue this year. Stephen F. Austin, a team that went to the Sweet 16 last year, will upset Utah. Also, watch out for Wyoming upsetting Northern Iowa, and West Virginia falling to a very strong offensive team in Buffalo. The biggest sleeper in this year’s NCAA Tournament has to be Davidson. After being picked to finish twelfth in the Atlantic-10 Conference at the start of the season, Davidson finished the season on a nine-game winning streak and won the regular season title. Their head coach, Bob McKillop, won Atlantic-10 Coach of the Year, and senior guard Tyler Kalinoski won Atlantic-10 Player of the Year after averaging 17 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. In addition to having the best assist to turnover ratio in the NCAA, Davidson is one of the best offensive teams in the nation, so look for Davidson to battle their
