For Chrie and Brad Wynkoop, the husband and wife team behind Wooden Whale Workshop, some of the best memories of growing up involved sitting around a dining room table. There’s something special about sharing a meal with family, and Chrie remembers her great-grandmother’s table fondly every day, when her own children sit around that same table together. It’s these memories of the past that provided the genesis for Chrie and Brad to run their own small family business: Wooden Whale Workshop, which handcrafts wooden furnishings via local lumber and products. Whether it’s long farmhouse tables, chairs and benches, or made-to-order creations, Chrie and Brad value their customer interaction, as clients will send them photos of their kitchens and inspirational table images so they can work together on projects. Chrie and Brad love being able to help customers design custom tables for their homes that will last for generations to come.
