The collection contains solid metal sheets and panels in standard dimensions. Panels are filled with acoustic, isolation and fire retardent boards, suitable for installation on almost any substrate indoor/outdoor on walls and floors. Our R&D studio is always on the hunt to find the perfect balance of technical and chemical color reactions of our metals translated in fashionable designs. Years of experiences in many metal surfaces have given us the knowledge to control our patina’s and know how to play with them. We stand for our product and consistent quality. When Art Meets Architecture
The Patina collection is available for wall & floor covering. We cover our metals with a strong and durable , scratchproof coating, An acrylic, aliphatic polyurethane is UV resistant, anti corrosion and free of lead and chrome for indoor installation. When panels will be ordered as flooring we attach a 1mm thick corten-steel sheet as underlayer on relative soft copper and brass material and change thickness to 1mm The panels are filled up with subfloor, noise reducing boards that make them suitable for installation on most substrates and works with floor heating.

OUTDOOR
Patination of metal is an ongoing process and colors will changes overtime. We capture our metals on their best with highly durable NANOcoating which keep them immutable for many years! For installation we can supply a certified Panel Bonding systems and is able to perform under extreme conditions, such as coastal areas and large heights, to catch the wind load and to ensure a sustained adhesion.
We know very well that not one project is the same and customers require in some cases a specific range of desired forms with aesthetics and architectural features. Lost Cowboys produce per order and offer standard collections, but any customization request is also welcome. Our metals are available in several thickness which can be used for other developments than surfaces only, ex. interior and furniture products in matching patinas. When a custom color is required other than our standard patinas, it would be challenging assignment for our design lab to develop a custom made patina that will meet your projects requirement. Product information Installation & Application
We recommend that all metal products, adhesives and the substrates are to be bonded to remain in the same environment for a period of five to seven days for optimal pre-conditioning. A minimum of 48 hours is recommended for pre-conditioning. These times are recommended although decorative metals have minimal dimensional change. Following these recommendations will allow the adhesive to create a strong and firm bond between the substrate and the metals whih will minimize potential dimensional change.
Substrates
Proper substrates must be used and careful bonding procedures observed. Substrates should be good quality plywood, high density particleboard, high quality fiberboard or MDF. Acrylics can be a suitable substrate, especially in smaller sizes, like in retail fixturing. The more resistant the substrate is to dimensional change (shrinkage and/or expansion from changes in humidity and temperature) the better the long-term results.
Maintanance
Clean with a soft cotton cloth using mild soap and water or nonabrasive glass and metal cleaning liquids. Do not use ammonia, abrasive cleaners, pads, or harsh solvents and strong detergents. For outdoor installation it is neccassary that the panels will be maintained reguraly to keep coatings in conditions for long term CUTTING and MACHINING, SAWING CAUTION In all cutting, machining and finishing procedures safety goggles, gloves, long pants and long-sleeved shirts must be worn and precautions must be taken to protect eyes from metal particles. Caution should be exercised in handling pieces since burred edges can cause cuts. Metallic laminates will conduct electricity and can cause shocks or short circuits when in contact with ungrounded electrical circuits. CUTTING AND MACHINING Most hand and power metalworking equipment and techniques may be used. Dull cutters create excessive chipping and burring and reduce the quality of the work.
General Warranty
To ensure a good bond, consult and follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions on preparation of substrates, surfaces and adhesive application. All types of adhesive must be applied evenly and uniformly. Each sheet and panel is supplied with a protective mask We offer a possibility to order montage kit , adhesives and sealant products with your order. We represent the Dutch brand Propart-International and can supply the right material if you wish.
Flooring
When sheets or panels will be used as flooring , please advise us in advance. A highly durable scratch proof coating will applied to the patinas for a solid protection. To reinforce the panels, they are filled with an extra layer of 1mm / 0,04” solid iron sheet Copper and Brass are soft metals and It is advisable not to use our metals as flooring in high traffic areas or expose the material to heavy products that could cause indentations or other irregularities by its weight.
Transportation
Lost Cowboys recommends that all sheets from 1 meter / 39,37” width are transported flat and on pallets to protect the material against bending and curves. The material is flexible and careless uses causes folding! Orders with sheets from 1 meter / 39,37”and more will be shipped on pallets. Smaller sheets can transport in cartons. Store the sheets and panels flat, be careful with moving them and use 2 people for carry large sheets to protect these against bending!
Protective Mask
Although Lost Cowboys sheets are supplied with a protective mask, care should be taken when handling them. Do not expose sheets to light or excessive heat for long periods of time. This may cause problems with the removal of the protective mask. It is recommended to leave this mask on the surface during processing work. Nevertheless, color uniformity and other quality checks should be carried out on the sheets beforehand by simply lifting up the edge of the mask and lying it back down.
All products supplied by Lost Cowboys shall be guaranteed for a period of five (5) years against manufacturers defects only unless otherwise noted. This warranty extends to products assembled / installed and used in the manner intended and does not cover damage or failure caused by: *Misuse, abuse or accidents *Exposure to extreme temperature *Improper installation *Improper maintenance We recommend that you inspect the material before cutting, laminating or using. If any material proves to be defective, Lost Cowboys will be liable for the cost of that material only.
