THE FOUNDRY GROUP GILBERT (NO SULLIVAN)

BADAPPLE THEATRE THE LAST STATION KEEPER A funny, heartfelt new comedy recounting the drama of a village railway station house threatened by the development of a high-speed rail link. Will all the memories locked within its walls be lost? Original, brilliantly executed and engaging, this affecting play explores the perils of modern life as the 21st Century 'need for speed' hits the 'old ways' head on.

A rollicking performance of daft, lesser known tall tales and bonkers ballads by the master of Victorian black comedy (and one half of the much-loved musical partnership that was Gilbert & Sullivan). Brought lovingly to the stage by a multi-awardwinning company, this is the perfect night out for fans and a great introduction to one of England's wittiest writers.

‘Superbly funny.’ The Guardian

‘Wonderfully entertaining.’

FOL ESPOIR INSTRUCTIONS FOR AMERICAN SERVICEMEN IN BRITAIN A daft wartime romp about a horde of Yankee servicemen who have landed in deepest, darkest, rural England, confused by the customs of their hosts. A fun, frivolous, feel-good show that plays on our strange British ways.

‘Wholly idiotic, inducing a helpless laughter that almost incapacitates the audience… an unforgettable experience.’ ★★★★ The Stage ★★★★ The Times ★★★★ Sunday Times ★★★★ Time Out Ages: 10+ Instructions For... is supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

TIM KLIPHUIS TRIO GOES GRAPPELLI This award-winning Dutch jazz violinist is seen by many as the inheritor of jazz violin legend Stéphane Grappelli's crown. Here, his trio, now in their 10th year, bring their compelling interplay to Grappelli's highenergy gypsy swing and jazzed-up classical tunes. ★★★★ The Scotsman
