light house cinema At Light House Cinema, we believe that film and cinema produce meaningful and insightful learning experiences for students. Through our annual programme for Primary and Secondary schools we provide a wide variety of films, with screenings of curriculum related titles, foreign language films and Event Cinema screenings.

BOOKING INFORMATION All films are available to book year-round. There is a requirement of 60 students minimum per booking. For smaller groups see our list of Open Screenings (pg 22). Schools screenings take place on weekday mornings at Light House Cinema, Market Square, Smithfield, Dublin 7. Regular tickets cost €5 per student. Event Cinema tickets are €6. TEACHERS GO FREE. PG | 2014 | 83 mins | Open Screening Available (see pg. 22) The history of Glasnevin Cemetery and the people who work there is highlighted in this beautiful documentary which not only looks at the various historical figures who are buried there but also muses on the subject of death and what it means to commit one’s life to working in a cemetery.
