Learn ultimate frisbee, have tons of fun, and make new friends while learning the Spirit of the Game! All grades (1-12) will play on Sundays, with additional skills session (practice) mid-week for the middle school program. This is a great place to make friends, push yourself against new competition, and learn the sport. Our U14 (grades 6-8) and U17/U20 programs (grades 9-12) will sometimes divide by grade or by gender, and sometimes will be thoroughly mixed. We think playing in these different formats is a valuable learning experience. Both of these age groups will have competition against other towns. Ultimate is played without referees. If you haven't seen your child play competitively while calling their own fouls, give this sport a try. You'll love the results. NOTE: Registration must be done directly through the BUDA website: www.buda.org/e/u14-ultimatespring-2022

A child who is good at communicating verbally will often produce better-written communication and interpret what they read more accurately, helping them in all areas of academics. The program is taught by the New England School of Protocol.

Challenger TinyTykes Soccer $150 Resident • $160 Non-Resident TinyTykes is an innovative program, created by childcare specialists that introduces children ages 2-5 to the basic skills of soccer. Community Programs

We're happy to announce Lexington Human Services will launch the Walk Massachusetts Challenge this spring! Walk Massachusetts is a community-wide walking challenge running May 1 - October 31, 2022 and is open to community members aged five and over. Each participant chooses from one of four predetermined challenges which are based on distance or frequency. Individuals who complete the challenge receive raffle prize entries for themselves and their council on aging. Individual prizes include gift cards of Visa ($50), Amazon ($25) and Dunkin’ ($10). Councils on aging prize levels range $250-1,000! Originally designed for adults aged 60 and above, this annual program run by the Massachusetts Councils on Aging (MCOA) is now an intergenerational initiative. Anyone aged 5-59 years old is encouraged to participate by walking and sponsoring an older adult of their choice! “Having a classroom of 5th grade children sponsoring older adults, strengthens ties within the community, improves one’s health and may be a catalyst for additional intergenerational learning” said Lynn Wolf, MCOA’s Communications Manager.
