Registeringforyourprogramme

Beforeyoustartyourstudies,youneedtoformallyregisterasastudentwithLeedsTrinity University.It’sasimpleprocess,butwe’reheretohelpifneeded.

Registration

Allnewstudentsmustregisterontheirprogrammebeforetheystarttheirstudies. RegistrationopensforallnewstudentsonMonday4September.Simplylogintoyoure:Vision accountandfollowthepromptsto‘ProgrammeRegistration’.

InorderforLeedsTrinitytooperateeffectivelyandmeetourlegalobligationstoallourstudents, itisessentialthatwehaveyourcorrectandmostup-to-datepersonaldetails.

Howtoregisteronyourprogrammeofstudy

Newstudentswillbeofferedaweekormoretocompleteonlineregistrationathome,butsome maybedirectedtoattendaface-to-facesessionataResultsConsortiumcampusinadditionto onlineregistration.

Onceyouhavesuccessfullyloggedin,clickon‘ProgrammeRegistration’.

The registration process will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Please answer all the questions in the following sections:

• Privacy Statement

• Clearance checks (documents you are required to produce in order to get full registration)

• Home contact details

• Term-time contact details (for email this will be your Leeds Trinity generated email address)

• Student ID photo upload

• TrustedOther contactinformation

• Personal information

• Academic Regulations and Students’ Union information

• Confirmation

Provisionalregistrationstatus

Whenyouhavecompletedprogrammeregistration,yourpersonaldetailsconfirmationon e:Visionwillstatethatyouhaveaprovisionalregistrationstatus.

Thisisatemporarystatusthatallowsyoutoundertakestudyandusethecomputingandlibrary facilities,butitwillnotallowyoutoaccessanyfundingthatmaybeduetoyou(e.g.studentloan orbursary)untilyourattendanceandengagementwithyourprogrammemeetexpectedlevels duringthefirstthreeweeksofterm.

Onceyouhavemettheaboveconditions,youwillbegivenafullregistrationstatus.Thismeans thatyouhavefullaccesstofacilitiesandwillbeeligibletoreceiveyourstudentloan/bursary.

Allstudentsmustbefullyregisteredbytheendofthefourthweekofteaching.Thosewho remainprovisionallyregisteredafterthismayberequiredtowithdrawpermanentlyfromtheir programmeandtheUniversity.

Choosing the right image for your student ID:

Aspartoftheonlineprogramme registrationprocess,youwillberequiredto uploadanimageofyourself.Youwillnot beabletocompleteregistrationwithout uploading yourphotograph,soplease ensureyouhaveoneavailablebeforeyou startyouronlineregistration.The photographwillbeusedtoproduceyour studentIDcardinadvanceofyourarrival.

Attendanceandengagement

Attendanceandengagementwithyourprogrammearekeyrequirementsforachieving successonyourprogrammeandformaintainingyourstatusasastudent.

Thereisanexpectationthatyoufullyengagewithyourprogrammeandtodosoyoushould beattendingatleast80%ofyourtimetabledsessions,engagingwiththedigitallearning environment(Moodle)andcompletingassessments.

Yourattendanceandengagementwillbemonitoredduringthefirstthreeweeksofterm. After threeweeksifResultsConsortiumandLeedsTrinityUniversityareassuredthatyouare attendingandengagingwithyourprogramme,wewillsendconfirmationofyourregistration toyourstudentfinancefundingbody.Thiswillreleaseanystudentfinance(maintenanceloan) youhaveappliedfor.Werecommendthatyoutakethisintoconsiderationwhenplanning yourfinancesforthefirstfourweeksofyourprogramme.

Yourfinanceandfunding

Tuition

Invoicesfortuitionfeeswillbeissuedbyyourinstitution.Ifyouhavetakenoutthetuitionfeeloan forthefulltuitionfeeamount,youdonotneedtosupplyanyfurtherinformation.

Tuitionfeesmustbemadepromptlyandinfull.Paymentmaybemadeasfollows:

This will be paid directly to the University by the Student Loans Company (SLC). Please check your SLC information to ensure you have applied for the correct tuition fee for your chosen programme of study and start date at your institution.
