NEW HEALTH PROFESSIONS PAVILION OPENS Lebanon Valley College officially opened the new Jeanne and Edward H. Arnold Health Professions Pavilion, which is home to our athletic training, exercise science, and physical therapy prgorams. This $20 million academic building shows LVC’s commitment to the health professions field, which is projected to add more jobs—more than four million— than any other industry between 2012 and 2022, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. LARGEST CLASS EVER Lebanon Valley College welcomed a record-breaking 518 new students this fall, exceeding last year’s incoming student group, which was then the largest in the College’s history. The fall 2018 class includes an all-time high 473 first-year students and 45 transfers. “Everyone who helped recruit these talented students, including many of our proud alumni, looks forward to the wonderful contributions these new Dutchmen will make to our campus community,” said Ed Wright, vice president of enrollment management.

NOW: NEXT-LEVEL CAREER COUNSELING The new Edward and Lynn Breen Center for Graduate Success offers a developmental model for students to connect networking, internship coordination, professional skill-building, and one-on-one advising with their academics. First-year students will work with Breen Center counselors and faculty advisors to discuss paths to achieve career aspirations and fulfill academic majors. In subsequent years, students will participate in internships and other meaningful work experiences, clarify their goals, adjust plans if necessary, and network with alumni and employers using a database that serves as a global sphere of influence. “Lebanon Valley College taught me how to be a confident professional and gave me the tools and resources to accomplish my career goals!” -Corby Myers ’17, Business Administration Project Analyst for the Mideast Division of Vulcan Materials Company
