A Warm Welcome to Our Newest Laureate Society and Lifetime Vickroy Honorees Traditionally, we welcome and acknowledge the College’s newest Laureate Society* and Lifetime Vickroy Associates** each spring at an on-campus event. Since we were unable to do so in 2020, we wish to share a special thank you with this distinguished group in this report. Videos highlighting these generous donors can be viewed on our YouTube channel. We express our sincere appreciation for these donors whose generosity to LVC helps us transform so many students’ lives. Your commitment to The Valley propels us forward. *Established in 1997, the Laureate Society Recognizes those individuals whose extraordinary gifts to the College, made during their lifetime or posthumously, total $1,000,000 or more. **In recognition of their lasting commitment to Lebanon Valley College, we are pleased to honor new Lifetime Vickroy Associates who have a cumulated lifetime giving total of more than $100,000.

Laureate Society ($1 million+) Dr. Valentino V. Sica ’50 and Katherine Sica

The Sicas established The Valentino Sica ’50 Endowed Scholarship in 2019 to support one or more Lebanon Valley College students each year. Eligible candidates should display good academic standing, good character, and demonstrate financial need. Dr. Sica is a retired family physician from Sparta, N.J. He and his wife’s lifetime giving surpassed $1,000,000 in 2019.

Lifetime Vickroy Associates ($100,000+) Rocco and Nancy Ortenzio Foundation

Through their foundation, Rocco Ortenzio H’17 and Nancy Ortenzio established The Rocco and Nancy Ortenzio Scholarship in 2018 to support a student with financial need. Preference is given to students who

honor of Mike’s student-athlete experience at LVC, the couple was the second lead donors for creating the Shankroff Tennis Center on campus. A plaque is displayed near the courts in recognition of their philanthropy. In honor of one of June’s faculty mentor as an education major, the Beyers also have supported LVC’s June Herr Educational Resource Room. Alan M. Newsome ’07 and Ashton R.
