Wir raten alle Modelle in Cordura®, Cordura®/Leder, mit Gore-Tex® gefütterte oder Cambrelle® speziell zu behandeln. Auch in diesem Fall empfehlen wir, eine Behandlung mit speziellen Produkten, immer auf Wasser- und Wachsbasis, die ein gleichzeitiges wasserdicht-machen des Leders und Nylons ermöglichen. Für jegliche Behandlungen empfehlen wir spezielle Produkte, insbesondere Nikwax®. Diese Produkte verbessern nicht nur die Eigenschaften der Wasserdichtheit des Schuhwerkes, sondern beeinträchtigen keineswegs die anderen technischen Eigenschaften, wie zum Beispiel die Atmungsaktivität des Gore-Tex®. PFLEGE DER KLETTERSCHUHE
Es ist stets besser den Kletterschuh an der Luft trocknen zu lassen, anstatt ihn sofort wieder in den Rucksack zu geben. Auch die letzte Sohlengeneration mit hoher Reibungseigenschaft, muss nach jedem Gebrauch gereinigt werden um stets einen hohen Qualitätsstandard garantieren zu können. Es empfiehlt sich die Reinigung mit einem feuchtem Tuch und anschließendem Trocknen, nicht aber in direktem Sonnenlicht. Nimmt die Sohle nach besonders starkem Gebrauch, den ersten sogenannten charakteristischen „peeling“ Zustand an, kann man mit etwas feinem Schleifpapier den Anfangszustand der Sohle wieder herstellen. Bevor die Sohle vollständig aufgebraucht ist und der vordere Rand abgenutzt ist, muss sie ausgetauscht werden. Für das Wiederbesohlen empfehlen wir unbedingt, sich an spezialisierte Schuhwerkstätten zu wenden, die den Originalgummi „La Sportiva®“ verwendet.
