Financial Assistance for You

When looking at per-year tuition and fees, it’s important to understand that most students at Lander do not pay that full amount— in many cases, they pay much less. We offer a wide range of financial aid programs designed to offset the cost of your education. All admitted students are automatically considered for academic merit scholarships and are invited to apply for dozens of other available scholarships (based on major, hometown, etc.).

All costs are subject to change. For detailed cost information, including part-time tuition, individual course fees, graduate tuition, and special tuition rates, see Lander University’s Business Office webpage at lander.edu/businessoffice. To learn more, visit lander.edu/financialaid

Types of Aid

There are a number of different types of aid for which you may qualify. Scholarships and grants are awards that do not have to be paid back after graduation. Work-study includes on-campus jobs for which you’ll be paid as a way to offset your tuition. There are also student and parent loans, which you won’t have to start repaying until after graduation.

Getting Started

The first step to determining what financial aid you may qualify for is completing and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA; Lander code: 003435) at Studentaid.gov.
