Sophie Nicklas: Kesäyön unet / Summernight dreams 1 I have / fond memories / of the warm summer night parties / in my childhood. 2 When I had soaked up the sun all day / and was allowed to fall asleep outside / in my parents’ arms in the evening.

1 Slowly, / the voices of the others around us / became muffled. 2 Then I could immerse myself in dreams that mixed with the experiences of the day and the sounds that surrounded me.

1 Sometimes, / however, 2 I would wake up again and then it was okay to stay awake a little longer. / Hehe.

Kryštof Ulbert: Peli / The Game

Giovanna Fabi: //‘}}}}<<<<<< tai: ärsyttävä uni / //‘}}}}<<<<<< or: I’m having an annoying dream

8 – Halt, no one may pass here… – …no one will get through…*

*Punk song in Swedish

…I don’t think you can argue that it should be your own choice to eat meat. Just like you shouldn’t be able to choose whether you can beat your children or not! 2 – My stepdad used to beat me as a child 3 – I… didn’t mean..! – It’s okay, I’ve been waiting to tell you 4 – I didn’t know what to do. Once I ran away from home for a week and slept in community sandboxes – Sandboxes? – Road sand 5 – I thought about killing myself, but I didn’t feel I should be the one who… 6 – So I sawed off a shotgun and shot him – You did what?!!

1 –

1 – I shot him, he had taught me how to shoot 2 – Then what happened? – I just stood there ‘til the police came – How old were you? – Fifteen 3 – But… it must have been seen as what’s-it-called circumstances, that he used to hit you? 4 – His family pressured my mom not to tell

– So I’ve been to juvenile hall. I wanted you to know since we’ve been hanging out so much 2 – So… – What do you think about us? 5 – I’m thinking we don’t have to decide anything 6 – We should keep in touch

Zad Kokar: Ficelle

1 Close to my grandmother’s house, in the south of France, lives an interesting character… 2 His name is Guitou. But everyone calls him “Ficelle” (“String”). 3 A nickname inherited from his peculiar habit of carrying a little piece of string with him everywhere he goes. 4 During the summer, he has his daily routine of going to the public swimming pool everyday as soon as it opens.

1

And from the opening to the closing time, he will be in the water. 2 Genuinely enjoying every second of it! 3 He has even created his own way of swimming, a strange sort of clapping on top of the water: 4 He certainly doesn’t move fast, but it fits his carefree and laid back style. [splash] 5 At the end of each round, he climbs the small ladder… [really hot metal] 6 …and while holding his hat, he would savor a little jump back to the water! [splash]

1 Even when the swimming pool gets really crowded in the afternoon, he keeps on swimming peacefully… – ooops! Sorry, Ficelle! 2 He’s a local celebrity and everyone shows him respect and says hi. – Hello Ficelle! 3 To which he always answers the exact same thing: – How nice is the water! 4 – What a treat! 5 My mom, who has known him for a long time, succeeded to get a few more infos about his family and backstory. But he doesn’t speak much and remains mysterious. – Oh, my mother… She was a nice & beautiful woman my mother… 6 To me, one of the mysteries is what happens to the piece of string when he’s swimming… – Does he put it delicately on the hanger? 7 Did he always have the same string? 8 ...or does he own a collection?

1

Also, what is he doing on the days when the swimming pool is closed for the rest of the year? 2 It seems that he enjoys going on some long walks… 3 Wandering all day in the mountains nearby. 4 Always carrying and waving his little string. 5 It’s hard to guess his age… he always looked the same as far as I can remember. 6 He is this constant and peaceful figure who’s personality is strongly connected to the town. I can’t imagine this place without him!

Vacon Sartirani: Contemplation Nadine Pedde: Jälleensyntymä / Rebirth 5 When Henner’s grandma died, we talked about death. 6 He asked if I wanted to know a secret. Ona Kvašytè: Meren äärellä / By the sea Kun kuljin meren äärellä / As I traveled along the sea, Löysin jälkiä ihmisistä, jälkiä lapsista. / I found signs of people, signs of children. Tulin niistä onnelliseksi, mutta samalla / They made me happy, but at the same time

tuntui hyvältä kulkea ohi kenenkään huomaamatta. / it was good to pass unnoticed.

Tamara Tóbiás: Viljelysimulaattori / Planting simulator Start / FINALLY
Help us save our dying planet… / Select a seed / Drag and drop to plant a friend…
Use water to make it grow… / WOAH / Start again
Fertiliser / Speed up time / Summon god
Congratulations!!! You have completed the game!!!
FINALLY…

Ville Pirinen: How to empty your bowel every morning in a world gone mad

1 Humankind has fucked up the living conditions of the planet. 2 All sorts of humanitarian hell and war crimes are served as a side dish to the ecocatastrophe. 3 Human-, let alone animal rights go down the shitter here and there. 4 Wrong solutions are taken at personal and systemic levels.

5 Hard to motivate yourself to do anything in a world where way too much is already done. 6 All ”growth” or ”productivity” feels instinctively wrong.

7 Everyday existence abuses collective and personal resources. 8 Normal life in the rich north seems like a sick performance. 9 You hang on to your mobile device like it’s a lifebuoy. A Although it is just a heavy weight that drags you deeper and deeper. B Offering tips on how to be the best version of yourself. C How to cope with all this shit. D Someone has linked an article about how to show mercy to oneself. E Just breathe peacefully ignoring the capitalist death machine coughing crap on your face. F It’s fucking hard to read cause you got to scroll past ads all the time. G At the end of the article the algorithm shows you more interesting content. 17 ”How to empty your bowel every morning (it is genious)” 18 It’s a picture of a banana and that headline. 19 And it’s in fucking parentheses (it is genious). 20 Fuck. This. Shit.

How to empty your bowel every morning (it is genious) Hide the pain

Kekube: an infant / vauveli you know, i wish all the creatures were happy today
