Even before I was serious about art, I knew it was a god-given talent. From the moment I was able to hold a crayon in my hand as a three year old up until now, I’ve been scribbling and inscribing all sorts of surfaces just about everyday. That’s where I feel most myself: in the long nights staying awake finishing a drawing or working hard to fill up a sketchbook and being proud of it. I often feel drawn to meditation, enlightenment, and astral projection (exploring outside of the body). My work revolves around experiences I face as well as learning who I am and where my place in the world is. I secretly came to save the world but got distracted and kept falling in love.

I have always been a creative individual. Whether I was painting, drawing, or creating banners with chalk on the sidewalk, I have always had an artistic soul. I was given my first camera on my 10th birthday. It was a standard Polaroid camera. To me, it was a new outlet to perceive the way I experienced the world around me. In college I studied film. I was determined to be a film critic. This was until I took an introductory course to darkroom photography. I was seduced by the calm of the darkness, and the smell and textures of the chemicals on my hands. The entire process of shooting a roll, developing it, exposing the images and watching them take actual form was captivating. As I became a more evolved person, my style and knowledge of photography grew. I became inspired by photographing strong looking women. I became more active, and planned actual photo shoots. I collaborated with my subjects on how they wish to be captured. I also began styling my own shoots. My portfolio has a wide variety. It ranges from fashion forward photography, to urban street photography, to portraiture, to commercial shots. Although my style changes, the basis of my work remains photographing powerful and rare women. I work closely with them to best create photographs that reflect how they wish to be portrayed. As I continue to work, I hope my portfolio continues to evolve and reflect the beauty and importance of being an interesting, and unique woman.

Five years ago, I started a business designing and creating custommade handbags at my home in Quincy, MA. All materials are made in the US, and supplied by local businesses, ensuring a one-of-akind look. Every bag is named after a person who has inspired my success, and helped me along the way. All of them represent a crucial part in making my dream come true, and this is my way of showing my appreciation! Each bag I create represents a memory in my life, inspired by both people and places.
