Please join us in welcoming Rabbi Benjamin Dyme to Beth El, The Beaches Synagogue. Rabbi Dyme is thrilled to bring creativity, life experiences, and a sincere passion for this calling. “I look forward to going on this journey with you. I cannot become the Rabbi I hope to be without you. Only on our journey together, working as a pastor, ritual offi ciant, teacher, and advocate for change, will I become the Rabbi I want to be, a true kli kodesh.”

Rabbi Benjamin Dyme just received ordination from the Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institue of Religion in New York City. He believes in the importance of social justice, Jewish education, prayer and spirituality, building our Jewish community, and strengthening ties with the broader world. In his spare time, Rabbi Dyme enjoys rooting for his beloved Michigan Wolverines, go blue!, reading, listening to music, and spending time by the ocean.

Rabbi Dyme is fully committed to getting to know his congregation and our Community. He is passionate about being there for everyone at all points in their lives. “My commitment to education, building community, and my belief in the importance of every individual having a connection to Israel is of utmost importance.” Beth El the Beaches Synagogue is thrilled to welcome Rabbi Benjamin Dyme. We have various opportunities over the coming months for current and potential congregants to meet and greet Rabbi Dyme.
