Too bad, it’s mainly verbalized by those who’ve seemingly lost contact to the realities life is hurling at us at an almost furious rate a long time ago. As a result, the voices are getting louder. Slowly. But steadily. It’s the time where ordinary kids suddenly stand up, it’s the time where counterculture finds the perfect breeding ground beyond corporate encroachment as it is secretly getting in shape for its glorious return. Because the actual equation thankfully is a very simple one: if there’s not a rebellious youth culture, there’s no culture at all. And maybe that’s one of the reasons why streetcar is experiencing another strong renaissance.. Punchy, colorful and consciously distinct. WIth the forthcoming Cruise Collection - aptly titled “World In Focus“,- IRIEDAILY is returning to its streetwear roots as we look back and embrace the past, but keeping things contemporary by not sticking to one particular style only. A mix of classic silhouettes interpreted via the current self-conception of cool which reflects the Berlin’s contemporary - and always rebellious - streetwear style. A lot of people try to shape the future, but it’s the young ones who will live in it. And they’re the ones who will fight for it. The time has come to declare it. Think advanced. And stay Irie.
