NEYMAR JR'S FIVE 2018 NEYMAR JR'S FIVE is back for its third edition! Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr is gearing up once again to host the biggest five-a-side football championship in the world – and it’s even bigger in 2018! Over 60 countries hosted qualifying matches - including an exclusive women’s competition in some locations - on the road to the World Final. On July 20th and 21st, 62 countries will compete for the world title. Whichever team comes out victorious will travel to Europe to meet Neymar Jr in person and be invited to a Paris Saint-Germain match. The World Final will take place at the Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr. The institute is dedicated to social causes and offers extracurricular educational and sporting activities to 2470 socially disadvantaged children between the ages of 7 and 14 years and their families. Instituto Projeto Neymar Jr uses a teaching methodology based on sports and was founded back in 2014 by Neymar Jr and his family in Jardim Glória, Praia Grande (Sao Paolo), where the brazilian star spent most of his childhood.

MELBOURNE STREET CREW Four of the six team members went to school together, playing a lot of outdoor football and futsal over the past couple of years. As a whole, they are all close mates who perform well together out on the field. The guys saw an ad for Neymar Jr's Five and

GHETTO GOSPEL Friends from the industrial populous region of Silesia took second place during the qualifying round in Katowice. Their participation was in doubt a few hours before the National Final. Two players couldn't make it because of work obligations and the team’s car broke down just after leaving the city. They faced all kinds of difficulties, traveled 300 kilometers with a rented car and became the best team in Poland.

In 2016, these guys won the Russian National Finals representing their home city of Kazan (the team’s name was also ‘Kazan’). This year, the team decided to double their chances and first joined in a regional qualifier in the neighboring city of Nizhny Novgorod. They managed to win there so they decided not to go for another qualifier in Kazan. So this year they are flying to Brazil representing a different city.
