Letter from the President I am so proud to have the opportunity to continue working on Thomasville’s future. We are making great progress through the Thomasville On The Move components. Implementation of the EnVision 2020 strategies are well underway. Our Program of Work for 2013 is aggressive and almost overwhelming. We are moving forward with continued marketing and promotion of the community. We are focused on facilitating community leadership conversations on Thomasville’s economic development programs. This year we are investing resources in earning national focus and recognition for Thomasville NC. That plan will launch us into a new branding campaign. Yes, it is time to brand Thomasville as something other than just furniture. And our Chamber is proud to be leading the way. All of this looks into 2014 and 2015, along with a renewed emphasis on small business development ad entrepreneurialism. Thomasville’s economy will no longer be based on big manufacturers. But small advanced manufacturers are the economic future,
along with small businesses working in a global atmosphere. Yes, right here in Thomasville! With all of this focus on the future, are we still going to meet today’s business needs. You better believe it! We love boasting about local business achievement. Connecting businesses every day is our favorite thing to do. Reminding you to shop local and support your community are vital to the success of every small business within this community.
