AboutUS

With all the noise caused by the shouting of different opinions, the impeachment process finally started and President Dilma Roussef is suspended for 180 days, until the final decision is made to impeach her or not. The people have suffered enough, watching little by little, their financial situation worsen by the day. The unemployment of 11 Million citizens, two digit inflation, poor public transportation, no health system support, and lack of education. The country needs urgent attention. As the process advanced it became obvious that the country needed a refresh, to start with a series of serious measures to reverse the downfall of its economy and social-politic situation. Despite the many attempts of Ms. Dilma Roussef to attract a different base to her government, it was all in vain, due to her lack of parliamentary support, showed in the senate and lower house, voting results. Brazil is a great Nation, one of the top 10 Nations in the world, with a great potential, once the corruption is cleared and the economy takes a better path, we will see a better future. Let’s hope for the best and for better days coming. President in charge Michel Temer has spoken, Order and Progress is the word of the day, with a confident look in the future. He has a hard task ahead and put together a winning team of Ministers. Let’s hope for the best. Laiz Rodrigues Editor in Chief The Hotspotorlando

The ceremony, on May 8, featured His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales, First Lady Michelle Obama, President George W. But the United States has a long way to go, say animal activist groups including People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the International Fund for Animal Welfare and The Elephant Sanctuary.

Ringling Bros said elephants will eat high-quality hay and local produce, go on occasional walks and possibly pull old tricks.

Payne brushed off the criticism as an effort by "animal rights extremists to score cheap publicity" and accused PETA of lacking firsthand knowledge of what it takes to care for an Asian elephant. The center focuses on conservation, breeding and research, including studies to determine why elephants face a lower risk of cancer than humans despite their far greater body mass, the center's website says. A Reuters reporter who toured the camp in October saw dozens of elephants corralled in groups of twos and threes in scrub-filled areas about the size of suburban back yards that gave them enough room to walk around and included toys. At night they stay in large barns, with their feet often chained to keep them from stealing each other's food. "Free-range sanctuaries that are as large as possible are a much better option," said Katie Moore, animal rescue program director with the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

"Elephants actually do stand on their heads in the wild, I've seen it," Payne said. Officials with the IFAW, PETA and The Elephant Sanctuary said it is more likely the elephants, which can weigh about 6,000 pounds (2,700 kg), will never again perform that circus shtick unless they are forced to do so. "That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in 30 years of knowing elephants in the wild," said Vivek Menon, senior advisor to the IFAW. Nedko Bucev ’m academically taught, artist. I had studied for 10 years how to draw from observation, copying life-models, linear perspective, color theory, traditional composition etc. In those 10 years, there wasn’t a single day I had the chance to learn something about the abstract way of expression. During the70s at the School of Art in Bulgaria, painting abstract was prohibited and later in the 80s at the Cuban University of Arts, again abstract was not part of the academic curriculum. There was spread the opinion that “in order to paint abstract there’s nothing to study, you just do it”. I studied art in two of the most communist countries in the world where art was always or almost always supposed to sent social messages to the mass. At the university, for example, the concept “art for the art sake” was explained as an “expression of the retrograde individualism to satisfy the perverted taste of the bourgeoisie”. A New type of Vending Machine! Pizza Touch By Laiz Rodrigues-Editor

Millions of people eat pizza every day. In America pizza is part of the family menu, at least once a week, which makes the Pizza Business, one of the most profitable businesses in America and around the world, worth Billions of Dollars. Even with the crescent consumption of pizzas, it is no secret, how costly owning a pizza store can be, considering food and labor, rent and all costs involved in the operation. Another aspect, to be considered is the price of Health benefits, Obamacare, which was made mandatory by the government for 2016, to companies with more than 50 employees, which added another US$ 3K a year, per employee. With that in mind, Pizza Touch can be considered a very attractive investment since it doesn’t allow so many operational costs, which usually slows the profitability curve rising. Pizza Touch will reward the investor with a faster return of Investment. Pizza Touch is a chain which provides automatic pizza distribution machines. Three different flavored pizzas offered, ready in two minutes, that will blow your mind. That is very important to me and I thank God to give me this opportunity to pass this to the kids," Pele, now 75, who led Brazil to three World Cup victories, told a news conference on Thursday. “Pele: Birth of a Legend,” is directed by brothers Michael and Jeff Zimbalist, and traces Pele’s rise from poverty to become the man considered by many to be the greatest soccer player of all time. Pele recalled how, as a nine year old, he found his father in tears when Brazil lost the 1950 World Cup final. “I didn't know what to do. I said, 'don't worry, I'm going to win one World Cup for you!' I swear I said this when I was 9-years-old. And God was good for me, He gave me three World Cups. I won three World Cups."

LEGOLAND® Florida Resort Expanding Solar Energy Collection Efforts with New Tampa Electric Installation

LEGOLAND® Florida Resort and Tampa Electric are partnering on a 2-megawatt solar energy project that will produce electricity — and shade — for visitors at the popular vacation destination, a project announced today as part of an Earth Day commemoration at the resort #BuiltForKids. Beginning this spring, Tampa Electric will install a canopy of solar panels over the resort’s preferred parking lot, adjacent to the theme park entrance. When operational later this year, the solar photovoltaic installation is estimated to produce enough electricity to power up to 250 homes annually, while shading more than 600 vehicles. Tampa Electric will own and maintain the solar array, with all power entering TECO’s electrical grid for the benefit of its more than 725,000 customers, including LEGOLAND Florida Resort. The solar energy project is one of several ongoing environmental initiatives at the site, which includes the iconic theme park, a 5-acre water park and 152-room themed hotel. In order to manage resources in a sustainable and responsible way, the resort has established a “Green Wave” committee to coordinate the efforts of multiple departments. Recent efforts include: Covered Parking 2 Nearly 1 ton of LEGO® brick has been collected on site

for recycling. After melting or grinding the toys down to their core material, the plastic is then redistributed to manufacture new products. In the theme park, the 12 electric vehicles at the Ford Junior Driving School attraction are charged entirely with solar power, letting kids take the wheel for a quiet, energy-efficient circuit around a mock road. A 30-kilowatt solar panel array is mounted atop the park’s Imagination Zone venue. The system supports Tampa Electric’s Renewable Energy program, which lets the company’s customers purchase a portion of their electricity from renewable sources. Resort guests driving electric or hybrid vehicles can now take advantage of a two-car charging station recently installed in front of LEGOLAND Hotel. Under the Citrus Connection Universal Access program, all Model Citizens employed at LEGOLAND Florida Resort can enjoy unlimited, seven-day-a-week rides on the transit agency’s bus routes throughout Polk County, resulting in 22,581 fewer vehicle trips on area roads in 2015. During its first several months of operation in 2015, LEGOLAND Hotel distributed 384 bars of soap to Clean the World. The Florida nonprofit delivers recycled hygiene products donated by the hospitality industry to domestic homeless shelters and developing countries suffering from high death rates due to acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease.

Last year, the resort’s environmental efforts saved… …48,406.80 kilowatt-hours of energy and an estimated 5,700 gallons of oil by recycling cardboard. That’s enough oil to fill the giant Joker Soaker bucket in LEGOLAND Water Park more than 19 times! …102,500 kwh of energy, 425 trees and 175,000 gallons of water by recycling paper. That’s more than half the water in Build-a-Raft River at LEGOLAND Water Park! How’s that for refreshing? …7,363.74 kwh of energy by recycling steel. …more than 1,000 cubic yards of landfill space by recycling cardboard, paper and steel. LEGOLAND Florida Resort conserved enough energy though paper, cardboard and steel recycling efforts in 2015 to power its newest theme park land, Heartlake City, for a year! According to Miguel Velez, the resort’s waste & environmental supervisor, the many environmental initiatives reflect the philosophies of LEGOLAND parent company Merlin Entertainments, among them a compassionate, caring approach to its businesses and their impacts. “There’s a set of values that we live by,” Velez said. “By managing our resources responsibly we are able to show our guests that we care. Some of those efforts can be seen firsthand, like at Ford Junior Driving School, where we’ve installed solar panels to run the vehicles solely by the power of the sun.”

Today, in commemoration of Earth Day, LEGOLAND Florida Resort will offer several fun activities designed especially for kids. Brick by brick, kids can help Master Model Builders create an Earth Day-themed LEGO mural as well as a large LEGO tree. In addition, several vendors will offer conservation tips and kids can take some of the fun home by picking up a free TECO activity book and colored pencils. As it has in years past, LEGOLAND Florida Resort has purchased enough renewable energy credits to power the entire 150-acre theme park on TECO’s solar grid for the full operating schedule on Earth Day. For more information about visiting LEGOLAND Florida Resort, including savings on advance purchase of admission tickets, multi-tier annual passes, special events, VIP experiences, educational programs, services for guests with disabilities and themed accommodations at LEGOLAND Hotel, visit www.LEGOLAND. com/florida.

Chanel Invades CUBA By Sarah Marsh

First came U.S. President Barack Obama and the Rolling Stones. Now global fashion's glitterati including supermodel Gisele Bundchen are descending upon Cuba for Chanel's runway show extravaganza last Tuesday. Chanel will be the first major fashion house to send models down the catwalk in Cuba, highlighting warming relations with the West. The exclusive show is also a reminder of new inequalities on the Communist-ruled island. Karl Lagerfeld, who has been at Chanel's creative helm since 1983, has said his latest inter-seasonal Cruise collection was inspired by the "cultural richness and opening up of Cuba." Former Cold War foes the U.S. and Cuba, formally agreed to restore diplomatic relations last July. Cuba has since improved relations with other western nations. Chanel Fashion Chief Bruno Pavlovsky told Reuters the label was uncertain at first if it could hold the show but said Cuban authorities had been "very welcoming and helpful." Some Cubans are critical. Chanel goods are not sold in Cuba and most locals could not even dream of affording them, given even a small handbag costs thousands of dollars. Images source: reuters

About 70 percent of Cuban workers work for the state with an average salary of $25 per month. Pavlovsky said it was too early for Chanel, which has fewer than 200 boutiques worldwide, to set up shop in Cuba.

sewed details like a satin bow onto her brown and cream work uniform. "Just because I can't afford it doesn't mean I want to deny others that luxury. And who knows, maybe one day. It's important to dream."

"This is an event for very few people," said student Heidi Lopez, 23, as she left the University of Havana for the day. "We can't enjoy it... and even less aspire to buy any product."

Cuba is fast becoming one of the world's most fashionable destinations, as tourists and the style elite seek to savor faded glamour and Caribbean flair before it changes too much.

Others say the show is giving their dreams wings to fly.

"Hola Cuba!" wrote Bundchen on her Instagram account on Monday, posting a photo of a Havana downtown park that received around 110,000 likes.

"Chanel is very good quality and also very expensive," said Marilia Veliz, 44, an accountant and fashion lover who had

By showcasing its Cruise collection in Cuba, Chanel said it was harking back to the roots of the line originally designed for wealthy Americans holidaying on yachts and cruises in the Caribbean to escape the winter gray.

Secrecy has shrouded the preparations for his runway in Havana, which will take place in the Paseo del Prado, a leafy promenade lined with marble benches, ornate street lamps and bronze lions that leads down to the Caribbean seashore.

U.S. cruises to Cuba were forbidden during the country's standoff with the United States.

Built in Cuba's golden era when it was a wealthy port, colonial colonnades and elegant Art Deco buildings on either side of the boulevard are now in various states of disrepair although some are being renovated.

On Monday, the first U.S. cruise ship to sail to the island since Fidel Castro's revolution docked in the capital, greeted by cheering local residents. Lagerfeld, 82, is known for his lavish show settings and has created a mock casino, supermarket and brasserie in the past.

Founded by Coco Chanel in 1909, privately-owned Chanel is one of the world's most recognized labels and the second-biggest luxury brand behind LVMH's Louis Vuitton. Additional reporting by Nelson Acosta; Editing by Marguerita Choy
