Never give up on your dreams, stay positive and hang around positive people that’s going to push you along the way to success. Raw Creations Gaming

Raw Creations Gaming is an Esports organization led by Dylan Leonte with over 500 million views online. It all started with Dylan and his core group of online friends Erich, Eddie, Rob, Johnny, and Cameron. The six of them would play Call of Duty primarily for fun together until one day Dylan decided he wanted to launch an Esports organization with them on it. Shortly after, Dylan Leonte came up with the idea of launching a content creator team house, and a competitive team house, both being in Los Angeles and Las Vegas respectively.

The group of content creators that ended up joining this venture was Cameron Lancour, RawChaosKiller, Shadey, Jake, Jaden, Xveild, Defyer, Jasper, and Machine. While the group of competitive players were a mixture of Ishh, Crucey, MetroRizes, RobtheRawbot, and iCaliper. They were able to bring in multiple ex pro players to become their coaches and they quickly rose in the rankings and made it to Top 16 in North America for Call of Duty Challengers.

The entire team has a bright future ahead as they look to be on the Roku television network “Yoki” in the near future as well as Dylan Leonte who has also landed a TV show on “EMT Media” which is channel 25 in Los Angeles.

Which Is Better- GOD OR GUNS?

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

Two things are for certain one, life is not promised to anyone and two, we all have choices to make, so let your next decision be your best one as it may be the last thing people witness you do and/or remember about you. While no one is perfect, try your best to make decisions that can lead to positive consequences even when your environment is encouraging you to take a turn for the worst.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

God or Guns is a movement that started as a clothing line but is morphing into so much more. God or Guns represents people that believe in a higher power, but struggle with their choices. If you look into the logo, you'll see that the word God is spelled out of faith, hope, love, patience, and forgiveness while Guns are spelled out of “violence, struggle, anger, and hurt.” So, in a moment of adversity, I’d like to ask the readers, what are you choosing, God or Guns? I want to get my message out to people about not letting a 15 second interaction get them 15 years to life in prison.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

If we’re talking about values, the biggest thing for me is Integrity. Just being able to do the right thing when no one's around which leads into decisions and how you move as a person. Accountability is another important value to me and the brand as we all make decisions in life that can go as expected or turn left for the worse. Plainly put, sit quiet and listen. Lastly, find your purpose. Once you find your purpose, you will find your path. I hope that through my story and others that share a similar journey, we can teach people that no matter what tools they may be provided or seek out, success is dictated by the individual and therefore looks different for everyone.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success? It was so many people and different events that helped God or Guns become a success. I came up with the idea, design, after thinking about my father while listening to my favorite rapper, Nas. Once everything was created, my brother gave me some suggestions for a website and then my homie forced me to create a social media account for views and engagement. He then had me participate in a pop-up shop to see/hear what the people feel about it. Between my mom and wife, I got the colors and leads on where I need to set a table up. My sisters, my homies and other family members all contributed by being big supporters and wearing the mockups like they were the real thing. They were giving me feedback from the community which in turn helped build my confidence and helped me decide on which idea to promote. All in all, the lessons I spoke on earlier all helped my brand grow to what it is today. If it wasn’t for the neighborhood sports, I might be a shy person and not know how to convey my thoughts. If it wasn’t for the petty

thief, I might look like these goofs walking around flashing cash (that should be used for bills), and if it wasn’t for the girls turning me down, I would not have learned how to say thank you and move on to the next potential customer. Lastly and this should’ve been first, God was my rock that turned this into what it is because he gave me the strength to be vulnerable and share my story with folks and then gave me more energy to do the legwork to be seen, heard, and talked about nationwide.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

There are a number of things that inspired me to form my brand. For starters, after my father was gunned down in 2010, I wanted revenge and have (registered) guns available, so I started plotting my next step. While I didn’t share my plans with anyone, I remember hearing someone say, don’t do anything stupid to the group of men that surrounded me on the corner. Not sure who it was, but I was hurt at the fact that someone would kill my best friend. I didn’t sleep since the night of the shooting as I was putting my execution plan together step by step, and then I was ready. The night before I went to kill, I fell asleep, and God came to me in a dream to inform me that killing someone would only lead to me hurting my family even more. Then I woke up. That dream had me asking myself, do I take heed to the message from God or disregard it, and use my gun? Hence the name, God or Guns.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

Man, there are so many different things that made me who I am today. I grew up in an area where playing games like manhunt, football, and tag showed me how to socialize with various personalities. Then, I remember getting robbed at the Chinese store for the $20 that I was flashing and flaunting and quickly learned the valuable lesson that Biggie taught on his classic sophomore album, “never let no one know, how much dough you hold because you know...” Also, watching the guys in the neighborhood get all of the girls made me want to take a shot at it, so I started talking to every girl that walked by trying to get their phone number which taught me how to accept rejection and keep going until you become successful. More than anything, not succumbing to the pressures of the hood to retaliate (even though it was in the last minute) for my father’s death showed me a couple of things, one, pay attention to the signs from God and that you can fall off, but to pick yourself up and make the best of every situation.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

Later this year, you'll see God or Guns clothing making its first movie debut in Jimmy DaSaint's film, "A Complicated Affair" as well as a Dream Visionz Production documentary on Choices and Consequences. We also have new attire dropping for the fall. I am also in the final stages of developing a mentorship program that creates a safe space community for the youth where I will push the idea that life’s about choices, make the right one as it could change your life and everyone around you.

Dr. Stepheny Finnie

SM - Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

I promote awareness in the area of feminine health for women, young girls, and men who have important women in their lives. I also offer a safe solution through Reign Feminine Care. Reign has five variations: Ultra-Thin Panty Liner for everyday use, Very Light Panty Liner with Wings for light absorbency, Moderate, Heavy, and Super Heavy Overnight Flow Packs. Jewel Pads, LLC is the manufacturer of Reign. I started out as a customer, quickly realized that Reign is a game changer, and became an ambassador for the company. This resulted in the establishment of Dr. Finnie Care, LLC., to educate and provide safe options. Dr. Finnie Care supports the Justice for My Jewel Campaign in providing awareness of the harmful ingredients in many of our traditional sanitary products.

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Individuals and families should not need to choose between paying for food or purchasing feminine care. Both are basic needs, but compromises are being made in this area of health per today’s economic climate. Periods do not stop for pandemics, loss of employment, etc. Therefore, success is achieved when society acknowledges that menstrual health is not a taboo subject. Once this happens, we can address this topic with real solutions. This will result in a focus on feminine hygiene at the same level as food, housing, clean water, and education. Individuals purchase products every month with little to no knowledge of their ingredients. This is why Reign Feminine Care is important. It’s non-toxic and chemical-free so there is no guesswork involved. It’s a safe choice and affordable as women and young girls have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

SM - What challenge in your life shaped you the most?

Many women and young girls experience painful symptoms monthly because of substandard feminine care products. I was one of those women! For years, I endured intense pain and heavy feminine flows during my monthly cycle. I accepted that this was the norm until a Gynecologist revealed that I was having an allergic reaction to my feminine care. When I asked about options, she was unable to provide recommendations. Immediately I began to explore products. During my search I was introduced to “Reign Premium Sanitary Napkins” which completely changed my feminine flow, reduced pain, and frequent doctor visits are no longer required. More importantly, Reign allowed my daughter to begin her feminine care journey with a safe product. As a result, I am a voice of those who suffer in silence.

SM - What values are important to you when you think about the kind of brand you want to build?

The values that are important to the brand I want to build include (1) “transparency” - ensuring

customers are aware of the ingredients in our products, (2) “quality” - Reign ensures women feel

“feminine” during their feminine flow because of the quality provided from design to delivery (products and packaging), and (3) “innovation” - the manufacturers of Reign Feminine Care have invested research and development into creating products that not only offer exceptional results but are also multi-functional, addressing many different aspects of life.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

Jewel Pads LLC was launched on June 1, 2019, with a desire to change the monthly experience of women and young girls menstrual cycles around the world. Our CEO, Demond Crump, and COO, Qiana Crump, understand that females deserve to have healthier feminine care products. They started this company with a clear vision to educate families on their product choices. Jewel Pads, LLC has invested in research and development to create products that not only offer exceptional results but are also multi-functional. One area that distinguishes Reign pads and contributes to their success is Nobel Prize Winning material "Graphene". This Graphene strip is infused into all our feminine care variations and may provide various health benefits that may improve microcirculation, promote cell activity, support a healthy metabolism, and inhibit harmful bacteria growth, allowing women and young girls to feel comfortable and most of all dry during their monthly cycles.

SM - What is one final thought that you want to leave our readers with?

I understand that feminine care is a personal matter that some consider a taboo subject. However, it is

I hope that we normalize period conversations through education and awareness. I personally know what it’s like to suffer in silence and my message is simple, we deserve the best and Reign checks all the boxes.

SM - What can people expect from you next?

Dr. Finnie Care, LLC., is positioned to promote Reign Feminine Care as a household name. This requires working with schools, hospitals, retail businesses, etc. to provide Reign as the safe solution for feminine care to consumers. Another focus involves connecting with community organizations such as church groups, food pantries, homeless shelters, transition centers, etc. to host fundraisers for pad donations. I am also exploring partnerships at the state and federal level to support legislation that will improve this area of health for women and young girls and all socioeconomic levels. My long-term goal is to eliminate period poverty by ensuring that women and young girls have access to receive quality feminine care.

I've always believed that through my perseverance and dedication to my musical craft, that one day, my talents would "put me in front" of the

masses for all to see. It's the "Warlike" nature in me that keeps me going to manifest the things I want. It's just like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

My upcoming music was all written, sung and produced by myself. I take great pride in knowing that my entire being was put into this album. When you hear my music, you are hearing my soul.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

The things I've gone through in life inspires me musically. The best music I've ever written comes from real life experiences. Especially when it comes to relationships and romance. Breakups, disappointments, setbacks, love... you name it! The best way I can express these experiences is through my music.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

Currently, I am working on my new single entitled, "Put You On". This is my first single since coming back to the music scene. I put my all into this song. This is a song that I know many people will be able to relate to. Stay tuned for the release. This will be played on many radio stations. You can follow me on my Facebook music page under "Marcus Devant" or visit my website at MarcusDevant.com and subscribe for future shows, content and updates.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

My passion has always for music. The challenge that helped me become who I am today is living in lack while having goals and dreams that seem impossible to achieve without having enough resources to achieve them. I remember when I used to be homeless and living out of my car. I knew that if I was ever going to reach my dreams, I needed to overcome this struggle. I got into online business and learned how to make excellent income from it. I was able to get out of homelessness with the resources to push my talents to the world. I learned how to build websites, run paid social media ads to attract a huge audience and make great income from it. I created two businesses out of the skills I developed. I've learned the necessary skills to take my talents far. That period of my life taught me what I needed to know to get out of homelessness and build a better life for myself. I just want my music to be inspiration to others to get out of their comfort zone and go after everything they want in life.

“Black coal to Diamond shinning”

RON AYERS

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it. The song is called "On the Floor" written by Ron Ayers and produced by D/r. Period.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Music has been an integral part of my life, an inheritance passed down from the womb of my mother. From the very beginning, I was enveloped in the rich melodies and rhythms that shaped my upbringing, drawing influence from both the vibrant sounds of the streets and the soulful harmonies of the church. It has been through the power of music that I have discovered a profound connection to my roots, finding solace, inspiration, and a sense of identity. It has woven itself into the fabric of my existence, guiding me through the highs and lows, and providing a soundtrack that echoes the emotions and experiences of my journey.

SM- What challenge in your life shaped you the most?

I wouldn't label them as challenges, but rather as building blocks. Every aspect of my life, whether good or bad, whether in the Church or on the Streets, has been a crucial piece in completing the puzzle of who I am. Each experience has contributed to my growth, shaping me into a stronger and more resilient individual. Just as a puzzle needs every piece to come together, I believe that every moment and circumstance has played a vital role in my journey, leading me to where I stand today. It is through these diverse experiences that I have gained wisdom, empathy, and a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me.

SM- What values are important to you when you think about the kind of brand you want to build?

Appearance, Sound and Attitude.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

DJ Sincere, D/r. Period, G Voyce, Fat Boy and my Family and Friends.

SM- What is one final thought that you want to leave our readers with?

As I continue to make music and the music that I chose to sing over will be of a universal language that will transcend barriers, speaks to your soul, and ignites emotions within.

SM- What can people expect from you next?

Music, movies and creative content as I grow in this music industry.

"Well Behaved Women Seldom Make History" -Laurel Thatcher Ulrich

Bismah Ahmed

Bismah Ahmed is the Vice President of Government Affairs, VA for the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan Washington (AOBA). She comes from a decade-long background in politics within the region, serving as a registered lobbyist before the Virginia General Assembly, executive agencies, and local governments in the Metropolitan Washington area. In her various roles throughout the years, she has developed strategies to reach a diverse range of communities, ensuring their inclusion on policy development.

Previously, she worked at the Policy Office of former Virginia Governor, Terence McAuliffe, where she researched current Virginia policy and developed strategies to reach a wide range of communities, ensuring their inclusion on policy development. Prior to that, Ms. Ahmed served as a legislative aide to Virginia Delegate Richard L. Anderson of Prince William County during the 2014 legislative session in Richmond. Ms. Ahmed has also served as a research assistant to current Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring, where she assisted with campaign operations for his Political Action Committee, One Commonwealth.

Bismah received her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Villanova University. She was also a graduate of the Class of 2020 Leadership Arlington program. For her influence, Bismah has been named an Alexandria Chamber of Commerce 2023 40 Under 40 Honoree and a 2020 Northern Virginia 40 Under 40 Honoree from the Leadership Center of Excellence. These titles recognize emerging leaders who go above and beyond to exhibit exceptional and impactful leadership within the region. She has also received the 2018 Arlington Chamber of Commerce’s Chairman Award.

Bismah Ahmed made history by becoming the first South Asian, Muslim, and Pakistani woman to win the title of Miss DC for America 2022 and has been featured in ABC7, WUSA9, NBC12, FOX5, FOX45, DCW50, and TV Asia. She used her platform to create The Color Collective, an initiative to promote giving back to the community, particularly by raising awareness about significant global issues, such as the current refugee crisis facing Afghans and Ukrainians.

She is very involved in the Metropolitan Washington community and am an active member of: The Virginia Housing Commission Affordable Housing and Neighborhood Transitions Workgroup, Arlington Chamber of Commerce (Executive Committee), Arlington County Tenant-Landlord Commission (Commissioner), Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce PAC Trustees, the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Government Relations Committee, the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee, the Prince William Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Committee, and the Northern Virginia Business Transportation Coalition. SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it. The impact that housing has on a community was clear to me from a young age. My father took a risk and created BOS Properties, small property management company based in Richmond, Virginia which we effectively managed as a family. I had the opportunity to see firsthand the effects of homelessness - from health issues like mental illness and drug addiction, to unemployment, reentry after incarceration, and domestic violence. However, it all pointed to one key solution: affordable housing. Fast forward several years, I am now a huge advocate for housing. My job as Vice President of VA Government Affairs allowed me to build a strong relationship with many elected officials and policy makers throughout the Metropolitan Washington region. I was also appointed as a Commissioner on the Arlington County Tenant-Landlord Commission several years ago, which counsels the County Board on policy and proposes housing legislation for the County Board’s recommendation to the General Assembly. Currently, I am advocating before the Virginia General Assembly for a temporary emergency rent relief program tied into the court process that would allow eligible tenants in otherwise good standing to receive one-time rental assistance to help them get back on their feet. I am also advocating for a state housing voucher program to supplement the federal housing choice “Section 8” voucher and assist those Virginians who are chronically housing burdened.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Fun fact: I made history by becoming the first South Asian, Muslim, and Pakistani woman to win the title of Miss DC for America 2022 and placed Top 15 in the National Miss for America competition in August 2022! Through this, I became a huge promoter of REPRESENTATION and female empowerment, particularly by raising awareness about significant global issues, such as the current refugee crisis facing Afghans and the women’s struggle for independence in Iran. Bismah hopes to inspire other women to venture out and reach for the stars, as “well behaved women seldom make history.” Additionally, a have a huge passion for giving back to my community because I know what community has done for me in my own life. I created the Color Collective Gala to give back to Afghan refugees in the area and hosted an inaugural gala last August, which featured prominent politicians, musicians, and people of influence in attendance.

SM- What challenge in your life shaped you the most?

My childhood really shaped my life as our family migrated to live in Richmond from Northern Virginia. During this move, my father transitioned into a career of real estate investing. I remember times where he struggled to put food on the table - I knew not to ask for snacks that weren’t on the grocery list! Finances were extremely tight, and that struggle really humbled me. However, it was also in these times that my father taught me that hard work (even more than skill) is NOT easy by any means but will bring you an infinite amount of success.

Later on in life, as finances became more stable, a close family member started to heavily struggle with substance abuse, which changed the course of our lives completely. We (a Muslim family where alcohol is taught to be forbidden) struggled to navigate how to heal. We lived day to day going from rehab to rehab, having multiple conversations, and deep interventions. After years of distress, the team at the McShin Foundation saved our family and they will always have a place in my heart for their grace and patience. Last year, I made an appearance at their facility to speak on the importance of rehabilitation and I was moved to tears mid-speech. I truly believe my family being saved was a miracle from God and it has been the biggest experience to shape my life. It showed me that that in any moment, everything can be taken from you if you stray from a healthy and meaningful lifestyle.

SM- What values are important to you when you think about the kind of brand you want to build?

One important value that drives my brand: Inclusivity. When I created the Color Collective, I realized that community involvement happens when people feel valued and connected to a cause even if it doesn’t directly relate to their experiences. This comes with storytelling and educating. I wanted the community to know that I was getting calls from refugees from all over the Commonwealth on how to sustain permanent housing, especially Afghan refugees rehabilitating into a new country post-war. This is how I’ve learned to achieve success – by bringing together a community of individuals who strive to bring better to our neighbors and realize that their help is not unnoticed.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

The Color Collective could not be credited with its success without our MANY sponsors. Our supporters are our bread and butter, as a production so large can NOT happen without friends, family and allies rooting for you! My heart will always be with those who have helped to make this an incredibly rewarding journey.

SM- What is one final thought that you want to leave our readers with?

My three-step process to bring positive affirmations to your inner dreams, especially for the younger generation: 1. Close your eyes and envision where you want to be in 30 years. 2. Now go one step further with that vision and amplify it. 3. Remember that vision and keep it locked away for yourself only. Don’t speak of it – you don’t want the opinions of those who don’t dare to dream as big to knock you down on your path.

Now venture out and start that business. Start that nonprofit. Become that person you envisioned. Don’t be afraid to test out your wildest dreams because you’ll never be that version of yourself if you don’t take the first step.

SM- What can people expect from you next?

The Color Collective will be throwing a women’s “real talk” panel featuring our female Washington D.C. metropolitan area heavy hitters in various industries in 2023 – stay tuned for updates on Instagram by following @TheColorCollectiveGala!

Remedy Da Franchise

Born up north (Syracuse, NY) and raised in the syrup of the south (Orlando, FL) Remedy Da Franchise is the perfect medium. Growing up in a musical family, she discovered her love for hip hop and would later realize she possessed lyrical talent.

In her adolescent years, she spent free time making music with her peers and became part of a crew out of Jacksonville, FL. Outside of academics and sports, she unknowingly honed her marketing skills by growing an organic following on social media and expanding to 14,000+ followers on MySpace prior to the platform’s mass exodus.

After years of suffering from physical injuries, this former basketball phenom had a careerending injury and chose to leave the NCAA to focus on her academics and craft.

While dropping multiple mixtapes and singles, Remedy went on to continue building her brand eventually garnering the support of fans internationally, snagging several underground music/video nominations and awards, appearing in publications, and interviewing with both radio and television personalities. Her ability to rap alongside industry veterans and Hip Hop icons such as Project Pat, Vita and La Chat proved how skilled and versatile this emcee had become with her approach to music.

Following a hiatus to focus on her personal life and business acumen, she has returned with a renewed sense of purpose and a refined artistry that only experience can produce.

Her life continues to be told through music and #FranchisePlayers remains the movement.

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

Never give up on your passion. If you have a desire to do something, you owe it to yourself to continue pursuing it. Do not lose yourself in this world and your responsibilities to the point that you forget what keeps you at peace.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

Currently, I am promoting several singles but most recently my EP with Queen Jazee was released on all streaming platforms. The EP is a special project, as it's the first time I have worked with another artist for an entire project and it's my first major project since returning to music. The EP is called "Polar Lights" and it centers around

us acknowledging our duality in this life. We wanted to create a project that people could enjoy, learn from, and resonate with. It's important to us to continue to create music that not only entertains, but also delivers messages to those who listen to it.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

The thing that has been top of mind is staying true to who I am as a person. I don't like doing anything that doesn't feel authentic. Also, being a source of inspiration for those who may be going through major life changes and transformative experiences in their life. Our trials can either destroy us or evolve us, I hope to be an example of how to turn pain into success.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

"Polar Lights" is a joint EP I have with my sister in music Queen Jazee. It's a great testament to rediscovering our voices after a long hiatus from music. We both left the music scene for a period and experienced several personal events that allowed us to create this project. We recorded the project at Syce Studios in Longwood, FL and the music was produced by The Dream Beats. We worked with Chamber Photographer for the visual component (shot at Vision and Vibes) and our make-up artist Cici slayed our look for the cover shoot. Allen Goodrum designed our EP cover and brought the vision to life - we couldn't have asked for a better team on this release.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

I have always used music as an outlet throughout my life. I look at it as my own diary and as a form of therapy. I'm able to channel my innermost thoughts and experience into something productive. I'm inspired to create by all my life experiences.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

More music is on the way. I have been creating a lot of music and networking within the music, tv and film industries. As far as "Polar Lights" is concerned, we are working on several visuals to complement the audio. Queen Jazee and I are excited about our future plans for this EP.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

Becoming a mother was hands down the most transformative. It caused me to reevaluate so many things from priorities, where I want to be in life, how I make decisions, etc.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it. What I am promoting is the brand of self along with different digital marketing products. As a brand I have a digital advertising agency that I have started and I also am a serial entrepreneur which works as a model, actor, and professional.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

My inspiration is drawn from and seemed from me being a very ambitious person. I have a mentor that I met a few years ago who was also a Florida Atlantic University graduate and when I seen where his career path was headed along with what he was doing, I became very motivated. My mentor showed me that if you have faith, trust your process, and follow your passion the money will eventually come and you will eventually achieve your goals and dreams.

SM-What challenge in your life shaped you the most?

The most challenging thing I would say that has shaped me was being in the military and a former college athlete. The two of these experiences gave me disciplinary factors and leadership skills the I still today posses. My entrepreneurial spirit is what has guided me in overcoming these different challenges understanding that adversity occurs and you have to face things head on.

SM- What values are important to you when you think about the kind of brand you want to build?

Loyalty, goal driven, ambition, drive, hard work ethic.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

There are several different brand ambassadors or agencies that have trained me and led me to where I am today. NVA SEG, Equity Sports, FAU, NBMBAA, and Publicis Groupe have all played an important factor in my collaborations and success. There are also different brands such as TrunkClub, iCatch Management, Promote Talent, and Talent Inc have been the resources to my acting and modeling career.

SM- What is one final thought that you want to leave our readers with?

There is no dream too big nor are there any goals that aren't achievable. Steve Harvey and Tyler Perry were once homeless and now they are both multi-millionaires with large successful brands.

All you need is one "Yes" from God and small seed of faith that he waters daily to see you sprout and grow.

SM- What can people expect from you next?

The next projects and collaborations that I am currently working on are being able to get sponsors for some of the athletes that I will be working with and representing. We will also be working on some new branded content in the next year also participation in a few different talents showcases.

Lil Mike

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

I really want listeners to use their thinking cap when they listen to me. I’m not an artist that just talks about nothing, I’m putting music out there that has reasoning and an understanding. I want people to create theories about my music like they did with Kendrick’s “DAMN” album, saying you can play his album backwards. I just want them to hear me, my voice, and my story and take something real away from it.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

I have an EP that will be releasing soon but no date at this point in time.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest? Some values that are important to me is being true to self and being authentic and expanding creativity.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

I would like to give a thanks to my team for the support of my upcoming EP and trying to give me the platform to promote my music to more listeners

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Music has always been a prime factor for me in my household growing up. Since I was young, I was always around my aunt and her music preference was always Hip Hop. She would play artists like DMX, Will Smith, Lil Wayne, and other great hip hop artists. I really started to listen to the words they would spit, I just wanted to start rapping myself. My aunt introducing me to the music gave me the drive to even start collecting my own CD’s young, so I was able to know what artists I vibed with most. That later gave me the knowledge to really get in depth with the rap game. Once I got my CD collection going, I started to play video games too. 50 Cent’s: “Bulletproof” was that game that I was glued to at the time. That game gave you missions to complete and once you completed them, you’d get a new instrumental beat that you can do whatever with. Of course, I used my beats to rap, so I took construction paper and wrote my raps on there. My mom would see all this construction paper around the house and be telling me to toss it. That’s when I got into the sloppy disks, after that I took off from there. I always want to give back to the community, the kids everyone and help my family.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

I got my EP releasing sometime soon. I don’t have a set date time, my goal is this summer, but it’s coming most definitely so stay tuned for that. I got some big names on there too, so I’m excited for this one. I’m trying to do some more live shows for all to get out more, also I’m getting more in depth with just branding myself you know? Getting more into the promoting and advertising myself to really build up my audience and let them know I’m about something, but most importantly one to look out for.

"Making a Difference in The Indie Creative Community" & N'Couraging And N'Spiring Through the Arts Everyday"

Durell Peart

Durell Peart is a speaker, artist manager, author, and music business consultant. He has over 17+ years of professional entertainment industry experience. He has worked within the areas of artist management, brand development, marketing, promotion, and consulting. He has worked mostly within the urban and pop genres but his skill set can be easily adapted to any genre of music. He made the decision to pursue a career within the music industry because the formula for success in the industry is predicated on loving people and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

Durell is a graduate of Full Sail University where he earned a Bachelors

Of Science Degree in Entertainment Business as well being named Valedictorian and Advanced Achiever. He started his second company Double N Management & Marketing Group, LLC in 2015, with the primary focus of being a positive advocate for indie creatives. After spending so many years as an artist manager and utilizing his relationships only for the creatives on his immediate roster, he felt that it would be a great idea to expand and help creatives that he wasn’t doing day-to-day management for. He also noticed what was lacking in a majority of the creatives was the lack of education they had in choosing to embark on a professional career as a creative.

Durell knew that he could make the greatest impact on his work with indie creatives by making their focus more about becoming global rather than being famous. The most important thing for creatives in today’s marketplace is to establish and execute a framework for building their own unique core audience rather than trying to appeal to everyone.

Durell has worked to expand his global profile establishing business partners all over the world. He has played a key role in helping to secure international touring opportunities for his artists ranging in territories including India, Spain, Luxembourg, and France. Durell has also secured exclusive digital distribution, licensing partnership deals with Sound Republica (Seoul Korea), Kanjian Music (Shanghai China), & Tune Afrique (Lagos Nigeria) which he can now use, as a vehicle to help indie artists build an audience globally. In January of 2020, Durell became an official partner of New Skool Rules, the number one urban music conference, and festivals in Europe (Rotterdam, Netherlands). He continues to provide value by aligning himself with strong global movements taking place in several international territories that support indie artists. Durell was born with a disability called Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy in which he was diagnosed at the age of one. He has been fortunate over the years to be able to impact many people due to his Cerebral Palsy being mild. He is constantly using his voice to show others that even though living with a disability can be difficult at times it’s not impossible to live a normal and meaningful life. The special needs are filled with many who don’t have a platform and voice (literally) to share their concerns and how at times they can feel disconnected from those who can’t understand what it’s like to live with a physical or mental impairment daily. He will continue to work hard and use his voice and platform to be someone who can be their voice and advocate.

Durell has been featured in Brash Magazine, Urban Magazine, and as the cover story in Urban Grand Stand Digital Magazine: “The Power Issue” & We Are Jersey Magazine & Let Us Live Magazine Issue 2: Love Is Power Edition, Independent Artist Magazine, Where it Begins Magazine, IBA Success Magazine, “Grinda” Magazine Vol. 3, FORD Entertainment Magazine and Orlando Voyager Magazine for the work he does in helping indie creatives. Durell released his first eBook entitled “N’Courage & N’Spire: More Than a Hobby: Why I Chose to Carve Out My Own Unique Professional Path in The Music Industry” on March 8th, 2023. He looks forward to continuing to be a bridge for indie creatives worldwide as an advocate and speaker.

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

The message that I am hoping to get across to the people by doing what

I do is that walking with purpose and passion is key in building success. I chose to pursue my passion in the music industry because at the core of the industry it's truly all about people and relationships. I feel confident in saying that I have put in my time to learn the mastery of building relationships and loving people. I know that I am in a people industry, so I take it to heart that I need to maintain quality relationships for me to continue to serve my clients who are often indie creatives.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

I am promoting my new eBook entitled "N'Courage & N'Spire: More Than a Hobby: Why I Chose to Carve Out My Own Unique Professional Path in The Music Industry. The reason I'm promoting my book is because I was born with Cerebral Palsy. I want to be an inspiration and show that there is a path for people with disabilities who want to work in the music industry but due to the lack of real opportunities most of us will never have the opportunity to pursue our dreams.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest? What I believe makes this unique is the fact that I couldn't pursue a traditional music industry job because I am unable to live in one of the top music industry cities (Los Angeles, Nashville, Atlanta, Miami, and New York). I knew what would help me be successful is my ability to build influential relationships with industry professionals that has given me the opportunity to partner with and extend global platforms that has continued to help me continue to make a difference helping indie creatives such as New Skool Rules (The Biggest International Urban Music Conference and Festival in Europe Rotterdam Netherlands) and carving out my path to success.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

The inspiration behind what I do as a speaker, music consultant and artist manager is to make a difference within the indie creative community. I have made it my mission to serve the 99% vs. the 1%. I look at what I do as service work. I feel that education is often the missing link for most new indie creatives. I consider myself to be in the music education business and even more an accountability partner to help the creatives I work with build success doing what they love.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

Some other things that people can expect from me are more books as well as more public speaking engagements. I am all about sharing knowledge and insight to help indie creatives. As I mentioned earlier in the interview, I am in the music education business, so I have a mentorship and coaching program that helps indie creatives that is centered around helping them build a core audience called "The Genesis of Superfan Building. I have book concepts centered around this framework in which I share my thought processes in greater detail. I think about the fact that I am building a voice for the special needs community with my podcast The N'Courage & N'Spire Podcast powered by The Got What U Need Podcast Network where I talk about topics ranging from disability awareness and music business and I interview people who have stories that N'Courage & N'Spire me. I want to continue to position myself where I can use my platforms to shine light to people within the special needs community so having more speaking engagements, I think will allow me to do that.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

My book is important because I have wanted to share the details of my journey for a while because I know that few people have had my experiences. I feel that after reading about my path, those who are in position to help make a change to make a path for those with disabilities easier in the music industry will do just that in terms of creating real opportunities for success especially within the various executive positions that are available now and will be available in the future.

Myster7ousDJ

SM - What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

A potential client should want to invest in my services simply because I guarantee satisfaction. Through selections & narrations, that are tailored to suit my client and their Vision, I bring to life a musical journey with its desired effects the client wishes to achieve and then some.

SM - Tell us about what you're promoting and the details around it?

I am promoting an entire experience anytime anywhere you see & hear me. Whether it's virtual, radio, in real life you will always leave with a story to tell. I've always had a true love and passion for music. Being known for my musical background, creativity, and energy, this is what I combined to make me stand out from the rest. I started DJing to get a deeper relationship with music to speak to the inner peace of myself and share a little bit of it with everyone.

SM - What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

What is unique about me as it relates to Djing is, I am delivering a picture of sound to the listener while narrating a story to engage the audience and enhance the experience.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

Ahhh we are not The Lionz Den for nothing. I got some big steppas behind me that's gonna move with me and for me. They're gonna be solid with me whether I wanna hear it or not. Some from day one, some along the way to this point, the ones that love me, the ones that dont, as long as you're speaking about The Lionz Den and the experience it brings. It all contributes to our success because you make somebody new wanna come catch these vibezzz.

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do?

For me, the inspiration I find in djing is the ability to express or convey emotions, feelings, moods and energy through sound. Personally , depending on the purpose. I.E weddings, graduations, birthdays, ect, I’m adding the soundtrack to their memories

SM - What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

I often forget to talk about Myster7ousDJ but focus more on Tha Lionz Den because it is an experience that embodies you from the beginning to the end. An enjoyable moment full of memories that can be shared a lifetime and then some. I have never been one to focus on me but others. The laughter, the music, the fun, and leaving with memories and stories to tell. That small time that we spend together is fulfilling for me but I want it to be the same for everybody that i have the pleasure of enjoying a moment of your life

SM - Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

These past couple of years were tough times for everyone and we all deserved a place to escape. There has not been one person in the world who wasn’t affected in a great way by it. I personally needed a release and I knew the rest of the world did as well. I obtained my Bachelors in Business and Psychology. I started the Masters program but opted out of completing my course of study because working and paying my bills took priority. I was working out of town a lot and couldn't devote myself to my chosen field of study I also had to take a dose of reality and I realized that helping people I wanted it to be a choice and not a requirement. As I got older I learned that the entire world has a heavy heart and the path I chose would make me carry that weight. For those that know me and know how hard I love and care for others know that although I didn’t continue I am still pursuing that path but from a different angle. Music makes you move, it makes you happy, it makes you sad but in the end it's all a type of therapy, right? Why now, it's simple since the evolution of music it's been considered self expression and a release. We have always and will always need a release. An escape.

Jen Lo Self Love Is The Best Love!

Jenise Albritton, known as ‘Jen Lo’, was born and raised in Kinston, NC. She is an author, endurance speaker, and health and wellness coach. She has taken the world by storm with her creativity and takes an initiative approach to everyday life and business. She has had life changing experiences but found a way to endure through and move past them. February 10, 2013, she had a life changing car accident, breaking both ankles and hip. What was meant to take her life turned into a victory, birthing her organization Second Chance 21013, using her testimony to change lives. She believes financial freedom is the gateway to generational wealth and the freedom to live the lives we were destined to live. As CEO of Second Chance 21013, she has made an impactful social media presence helping people around the world one testimony at a time!

SM - What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

My message is, once you love yourself enough to know that you're worth fulfilling the vision and dreams God gave to you, you will see those things become and manifest in the real world. I hope to inspire others to share their stories and change lives one testimony at a time.

SM - Tell us about what you're promoting and the details around it?

I am promoting self love, growth, healing and being successful while doing all 3. As black woman, I feel that the focus is being a strong black woman. A woman who can take care of herself, pay all her bills, be successful, be the backbone for everyone but herself. However, self love gets left out. Women need to evaluate and self reflect more. Love the person in the mirror more and do it early in life in their youth. As an author and speaker, this is my subject, my heartwork of discussion.

SM - What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

What's unique about what I do is the fact I'm still here to do it. The many times life has tried to take me out, God kept me here. To be honest, I almost didn't make it out of the womb. I'll share that story when it's time. I believe I'll call it 'The mistake that turned out great' when it's time to share that testimony. My passion and will to be engaged in the bigger vision, the global mission is what sets me and what I do apart.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

This project called my life, was put together by God. He is the curator of my life. Along the way there have been some amazing people that have contributed. Mrs.Suzanne Peters, the CEO of the Woman To Woman Network has included me in several of her projects the last few years exposing me to new experiences and developing me as a speaker. My 'Atlanta Mom' Mrs. Gwen Stevens has been a part of my growth in opening up more to people. When I moved to Atlanta and was in my full introvert mode, she said to me 'You moved to Atlanta to model and act but you have a wall up. You're going to have to talk to people. Try at least speaking to people'. I took that advice and things opened up for me. I am also part of Black Speakers Network as a premium member with CEO Brian J. Olds. Being in the BSN Community is how I met Mrs. Peters and it has exposed me to some amazing people and information that has helped me in my personal development and speaking. One of the best investments I have made. There are more people that have contributed along the way and I am grateful for them and the opportunities I've been given.

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do?

As I've gotten older into my 30's, I have discovered things I wish I'd known about or heard of in my teens or 20's. Believe it or not, I had not heard of self love, personal development or growth until my mid 30's. I grew up in the projects, in a home with tough love and bitterness. I didn't know about this thing called 'healing'. My parents divorced when I was 3 years old. I now look back and can see that what I experienced in my household was a product of unhealed wounds, lack of self worth and self love that made my environment so volatile as a child. I was a constant reminder of a failed marriage and I paid the price everyday as a child. As a result, I grew up not liking how I looked, how I felt about me because I couldn't love or accept me for who I was. That energy was sent out into the world and the world mimicked my emotions by not accepting me, picking on me, calling me blackey and more. My fights at home turned into fights with myself and others. My classmates couldn't show me love because I wasn't showing it to myself. My prayer since the age of 13 has been The Prayer of Jabez, for God to expand my territory. God gave me a strong testimony on February 10, 2013 that changed my entire life.

This also started my Second Chance 21013 journey. I have spent the last 10+ years healing, growing and learning to love me more while pursuing my dreams and goals.

SM - What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

My new book 'She Owned Her Story' will soon be released. It is a collaborative of women sharing their stories, owning their truths. It is a collaborative with the Woman To Woman Network with CEO Mrs. Suzanne Peters. I created a self love journal 'Love Yourself'. This journal helps to guide the thoughts from negative to positive. Available now. Touring with the stage play 'Sistah Oh My Sistah' via Head of My Life Productions out of New Jersey. The play is coming to my state of North Carolina and various places. New episodes on my podcast 'Real Talk With Jen', available now on Spotify, Anchor FM, Youtube and various other platforms. Follow on Instagram @JenLoInspires for updates on speaking engagements, events and more. Thank you!

SM - Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

What I do is very valuable. 1 of my slogans is, 'Changing Lives one testimony at a time'. The last 10+ years, I have been sharing my testimony of how life almost took me out but God turned tragedy into victory. By sharing my testimony and pursuing my acting, modeling career that has spawned into many other things including being an author and speaker, people have watched and are watching me birth a vision I didn't even know was as big as it is. It has grown over the years. What I do is valuable to me because it's an answered prayer. Why I share this now is because people around the world need hope now more than ever! In a time where the world is changing unpredictably to many, predictably to those behind the controls, the world needs love. The people need to know their worth, that what they've been through has been the building blocks to who the great person God has destined them to be if they allow Him to get them there. If, they feel they are worth being that person. The world needs a hug, now! Right now!

Bill Minerr “It's the bandit!”

SM - What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

I'm sending a message to the world but mostly to all my underdogs that's been counted out, you can come back from anything. I went to the Feds for 12 years and I'm not allowing my past to dictate my future. I'm doing whatever it is to display my greatness. God gave me a talent and I'm giving it to the world! It’s the bandit!

SM - Tell us about what you're promoting and the details around it?

I'm promoting my first body of work and it's called project Bandit, 14 tracks will be on it and it's back to rapping, but this time it's bandit on the track not a dope boy or drill rapper.

SM - What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

This project is really unique just because the culture never heard from a real rapper, it's usually some kid that's rapping about someone else's lifestyle but with me, it's me Bill Minerr AKA King Logo giving the people & the fans exclusive songs.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to it’s success?

“American Pen Pushers” are my team, so most definitely they contributed to this project all around the board, from the creative side to the beats. My super producer (Jeff Webb), my dude (Dmarcodagreat), my guy’s (Shaker) (Rolex Dre) are all on “Project-BandiiT.” That's my team right there.

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do? This project is inspired by my real life as a real Bandit... It motivates me and everybody that's on my team. I'm giving my people music to listen to. Let's Go!

SM - What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

The people can expect from Bill Minerr in the future is short films produced by my own company "BlackDoor87 Studio". I also have a clothing line coming called “H.E.I.S.T.” Merch is currently on standby ready to hit the streets like blue magic. It’s the BandiiT!

SM - Why is this so valuable to you? And why now? With this project, I'm making history! This is my contribution to hip hop, this is my flag that I'm planting in the ground for years to come, the fans will be able to go back and listen to a real bandit rap and not a made up person. I'm different all around!

Malisha Shields

I'm a corporate leader in the HR Benefits industry, where I have the privilege of shaping the health and well-being strategies of large organizations as a person of color. As someone who is acutely aware of healthcare disparities, this work is incredibly important to me. But despite my passion for my day job, my heart has always been in the world of fashion. During the pandemic, like many others, I found myself ordering clothes online in anticipation of the day when we could all venture outside again. However, I was disappointed to find that the boutiques I was ordering from often had inconsistent sizing and lacked transparency. I frequently found myself returning items or just accepting them as a loss. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create styleMbellished. My goal is to provide a platform where women can find stylish, high-quality clothing that fits well and makes them feel confident. I believe that everyone deserves to feel great in what they wear, and I'm excited to be a part of making that happen.

SM - What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

My goal is to show women that online shopping can be a stress-free an enjoyable experience. I also want to dispel the notion that style must fit into predefined categories such as chic, street, minimal, maximal, or modern. In my opinion, style is an expression of one's personality, and I want every woman to view styleMbellished as a valuable resource that can help her define and express her unique style.

SM - Tell us about what you're promoting and the details around it?

We are presently showcasing our latest Spring Collection, which includes an array of fabulous pieces that can smoothly take women from spring to summer. Our focus has always been on providing high-quality apparel with distinctive features, hence the term "embellished". Moreover, we take pride in serving as a valuable resource for women to accomplish their style and fashion objectives.

SM - What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

What sets styleMbellished apart and makes us truly unique is our commitment to transparency. As someone who is straightforward and direct, I have a personal issue with brands that are not honest about the sizing and quality of their products. In the fashion industry, especially in fast fashion, various factors affect sizing, making general sizing charts ineffective. That's why we provide detailed hand measurements for each of our products, believing that "The ISH must FIT!” Moreover, we conduct a thorough quality check of every item upon receipt from our manufacturers. For us, quality means that the material is not see-through,

there are no visible gaps at seams, the stitching is not loose, the hems of skirts and pants are finished and polished, and the clothing does not shrink or lose its shape after washing. If these quality standards are not met, we are always open and honest about it and will never sell subpar items to our customers.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

Currently, I am the sole operator of styleMbellished. Nonetheless, I have the unwavering support of my husband and two daughters, who have provided their assistance in various ways. Towards the end of 2022, I made the decision to invest in a brand strategist (@brandesignconsulting), who has been an incredible motivator and helped me to take action. However, my pursuit of perfectionism coupled with the emphasis on quality has sometimes hindered my ability to move as quickly as I would like. To overcome this, I have also recently hired a professional photographer (@capturedbyjo) who has brought the vision of styleMbellished to life. Additionally, I have invested in hiring models, enabling me to gradually shift my focus from being the face of the brand to working behind the scenes. Indeed, building a brand takes a village!

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Our inspiration is simple. It's the empowerment of women! As women, some of us struggle to use our voices due to shyness, introversion, or upbringing. Nevertheless, styleMbellished aims to inspire every woman to use fashion as a means to express themselves and make a statement, one outfit at a time. Our mission is to empower women and encourage them to speak up through the power of fashion.

SM - What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

Our summer collection is set to launch in mid to late June or early July, just in time for the season of outdoor fun. We believe that vibrant colors perfectly capture the essence of summer, and we're excited to showcase them in our new collection. Of course, with the heat, some skin will be bared, but at styleMbellished, we prioritize being sexy with class rather than letting it all hang out. So, get ready for a summer collection that's both fun and stylish!

SM - Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

As a woman of color, it is essential for me to speak up because I have experienced countless instances where my voice was ignored or silenced, solely based on my skin color or gender. In today's society, there are numerous ongoing events that serve as a constant reminder to women that our opinions hold no value. In light of this, I ask, why not now?

Quinton and Delores Salley “Wear Something That Means Something. The People Brand”

SM - What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do? Wear something that means something!

SM - Tell us about what you're promoting and the details around it?

We have been highlighting our brand to the world for over 5 years. 424 Fashionz was created for the culture and by the culture. With a brand that means a lot for many, The brand is all about loyalty. It means honoring our own beliefs. We want the world that you can truly wear something that means something, when it comes to any daily event. With original branding designs you can be comfortable dressing up or down for any event.

SM - What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

The uniqueness of 424 Fashionz is the meaning behind it. As a company we understand that many people have their own style and their own way to express themselves through the clothes they wear. We stand out because we give people both fashion and a meaning.

SM - Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

There is a lot of people we can thank, our Creative Director Brandon Pleasant and

mentor Project Runway all star winner Anthony Williams, supporters like producers Brain Jones and also magazines and organizations like yourself that give people like us the platform to tell the world about our brand. However we have to give ourselves a pat on the back for the hard work and dedication we have put in this brand over the years. People always see the good side but always underestimate the hard times it takes to get to the good times. As a couple we work side by side to get things done. We are very strong level headed people whose passion can't be felt within everything we do. We also have to let you know it's nothing but God and the faith in a higher universe that brings us where we are today.

SM - What is the inspiration behind what you do?

This inspiration for 424 Fashionz came after CEO Quinton Salley finished a 13 year prison sentence. He was overcharged because we would not affect other people's lives for things he did. He kept true to himself and what he believed in. After years of fighting for his own release, he was granted immediate release. It wasn't easy, he wrote the Judge three times with #2 pencil explaining the laws that were broken when it came to his case, and how he was over-sentenced because he was not

willing to lie on the stand for something that wasn't true. He kept true to his beliefs and the meaning of 424. After being released, Quinton and Delores Salley, did a business Trademark on their business and started something that was bigger than them .

SM - What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future? More fashion shows even in London and more influencers wearing the brand to spread the word.

SM - Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

Where do we start? This company is so valuable to us because of the meaning itself. It doesn't matter what your background, everyone has a belief system when it comes to your values and culture. Over the last several years we have been dealing with division within cultures. When it comes to the black culture we highlight a lot of fashion Ideas but Who is really standing up for us and the Black Families. We decided to take this journey because we are only 5% of the fashion industry but we consume more fashion than anyone else. 4II4 Fashionz will always be the brand that is for Culture.

Lowkey Afrika

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it?

Joining Rome Empire Music Group Africa and releasing my first single titled 'Higher' at the end of May through the label. With Rome Empire being a label in California, we want to create traction around the label in South Africa starting in Cape Town where Lowkey Afrika was born.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

My main genre is Afro Soul, but I personally feel like I don't have the typical "afro' voice in my approach. I've always wanted to created my own sound within afro because I’ve always wanted to stand out. When people book me for gigs or want to feature me on a song, I want them to have the mindset of "He's different". Having live elements in the track such as guitar and percussive drums, it takes the listener on a journey as all these elements elevate throughout the track.

SM- hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

The message I'm trying to convey is that even with all the mental warfare’s that life has to offer, giving up is never an option. I have been doing music for 6 years professionally in the industry and even though this is just the tip of the iceberg, I've faced so many challenges and mental warfare’s that have only helped me elevate as an artist and help shape me into being someone who is 100% confident in what I do, even when people say "no" and don't see my vision. The answer to any difficult situation in life is to never give up because not everyone will see what you see, or hear what you hear but at the end of the day what matters is that we stay true to ourselves as creatives.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

This is one of the first projects that I produced alone, that includes laying guitars and the overall composition of the

track, but there were certain people that played small but crucial roles in the track such as Seth Grey who I recorded certain vocal parts of the track with, Xkeys who helped with the ultimate vision of the song with his African approach, Dillon April who mixed and mastered the song also adding valuable ideas when it came to mixing and Machent Management who is pushing the song commercially in places like radio and television.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do? Music saved my life. It's my language that I speak and use to communicate to people who have been through similar situations or can relate to certain aspects of life. What inspires me is how melodies and harmonies, or lyrics can have so much power in our emotions and how we perceive life, helping others by making them move, sing and feel the music. Taking them on a journey and seeing them absorb the music and vision I put out into the world inspires me and gives me the drive to create more.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now? Music is really all I know, I make a living through music, whether it's live performances, working in studio, sound engineering for other artists, producing or songwriting, it’s all part of showing my love for music. By being a part of Rome Empire Music Group, I can take my passion and get more reach internationally and show more of the world who I am and what I stand for. With the South African industry being where it is right now reaching more ears, this is the perfect time to take Lowkey Afrika to the world.

SM-What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

People can expect more music from the heart and more motivation to be who you are. Providing the world with my sound and doing that on the highest level possible. Performing with my live African band and giving people high energy performances throughout the whole set. Music videos that capture who I truly am and just having fun throughout this journey.

Independent Hip Hop R&B Artist J.E.V.I PE$CI aka Longevity releases Judgement Environment Violence Instinct 2 (J.E.V.I 2) a sequel to the original title for the start of 2023! The aesthetic artwork cover embodies the artist’s Hip Hop roots with a throwback kodak photo taken of Jevi throwing up double peace signs (deuces) in front of an old Ocean City, Maryland graffiti mural circa in the early 2000’s. The title tagged & touched with dripping ink & freshly painted fingerprints symbolizing his b-boy origin. The back cover art track list is also a nod to his upbringing of an old photo taken of him practicing head spins in the well-known Newcastle County Llangollen neighborhood basement where he grew up. His signature soul touching gritty east coast Mobb Deep like sound combined with creative emotional lyrical wordplay & mesmerizing R&B vocals proves why he’s in the game to stay. With prominent features from upcoming artists to big names this full-length sequel project is a solid listening journey all the way through each of the 20 tracks from start to finish.

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

Create Inspiration. Never give up. You learn more from failure than you do from success. It doesn’t matter who you were it only matters who you’re becoming. You don’t need validation from anyone but yourself to continue surviving this life. There is no gain without loss. Happiness is the greatest asset and memories are the priceless currency from which it’s purchased. You don’t need money to be rich the wealthiest people are the most miserable and some of the poorest are the happiest, why is that? You do the math.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest?

What separates us is the idealism that you can get everything in life you want if you can just help other people get what they want. Success is a journey not a destination I refuse to judge or be confined to a box, a label, an identity, or an image. I am a face for the faceless a voice for the voiceless. I bring hope for the hopeless inspiration to the uninspired. I am nobody so in turn I am everybody. I am Lonjevity.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success?

Beginning with an intro from one of his favorite movies “A Bronx Tale” quote that the artist strongly relates to having it tattooed on his left leg “the saddest thing in life is wasted talent” collaborating with R&B powerhouse Fedarro on “All She Got” exchanging lyrical wordplay with fellow NC artist ASL on “Ryte Now” to an amazing surprise feature from his real life brother & fellow villain member Philosophy on “Lifes a Game” with future club hits like “The Way” & “Lose My Mynd” to showcasing multi talented singing skills on softer R&B vibes like “U & I” “Dying 4 Ya” “Can U Remember” and single “Ryde Witta G”. Longtime friends Shan P Contributes on the Jay- Z D’evils sampled “Streets Was Watching” to NC pioneer Wesnyle & Axcell of Lvstovdavillainz on banger “Born from The Concrete” teaming with Carolina plug Facts BUC on the Biggie inspired “Hed Ryte” to Hip Hop heavy hitters Swifty Mcvay of D-12 & fellow DE native Danja Danja on “Overcome” & a hook from Strange Music Alumni Krizz Kalico on “Gettin Bye” an ode to mental health. Through an illmatic like lyrical storytelling in songs like “This Goes Out” & “Watching Cartoonz” to paying hip hop homage in “Tha Truth” ending listeners on a very personal spectrum with “Fade in Time” & a special 7 min Terry Reid sampled “Seeds of Memories” Composed with live guitar by E-Ternal & live drums by Spencer Kruse. A solid musical experience taking listeners on a 1 hour and 15 min journey through the artist’s compelling mind & unique lifetime makes Judgement Environment Violence Instinct 2 (J.E.V.I 2) a for sure hip hop classic! Available on your favorite streaming platforms now!

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Kenneth Andrew Roberts aka Jevi short for Lonjevity was a Bboy, a break dancer graffiti artist who was influenced by hip hop growing up in the late 90’s. Passionately practiced developing his craft to go on to perform live showcases across the tri-state eventually accepted into Cab Calloway school of the art for visual arts & dance in Wilmington DE. He began teaching breakdancing classes & writing poetry in & out of class as a therapeutic outlet afflicted by the surrounding drug related environment of Wilmington DE that led to becoming the artist he is today. If you were to ask anyone who knew him growing up, they probably would have said things like, “he’s got talent” or “he’s gonna make It” or people that didn’t know him knew of him from break dancing at local dances & parties, social gatherings, or yearly community celebrations. They would likely say he was one of the “popular” kids who had a cool mom who let them do anything, but they would also know of him from dealing drugs & being in trouble. Wasted talent they would say. Jevi was expelled from Cab Calloway the art school that would have been his only steppingstone to a promising future after being caught selling marijuana on school property. This redirected his life path to become a drug dealing high school dropout traveling a negatively affected road filled with multiple incarcerations. A household divided and family separated by alcohol & drug abuse gave him little choice of coping with trauma dealing with dramatic change clinging to the instability of relationships and houses he could never call home. Eventually forced to put his talent aside to survive would eat at the core of his soul daily which he continued to use as fuel writing about his struggles as an outlet throughout. Learning how to survive at an early age with no familial structure & only peer guidance persisted through relentless challenging life lessons as did many in the Newcastle County Wilmington DE environment in the 2000’s. Now a

J.E.V.I PE$CI

repeated misdemeanor offender & 4-time convicted felon destroyed any legal future talent career opportunities he may have had scholastically. But he knew he was destined to leave a musical legacy & vowed to never give up. After persevering through overwhelming heartache sacrifice & loss faced with becoming a known habitual offender visualizing the direction, he was headed like many before him made an unimaginable choice to take a chance & work up the courage necessary to make a change by leaving everything & everyone he knew including his mom & brother who needed him behind. Carrying only two trash bags filled with clothes he left Delaware to start over, believing it was the only way to save his future & pursue his talents. The year was now 2011 Jevi recently released from jail on federal probation in a new state began to reinvent himself slowly focusing on his talent again but not without circumstances. Being a 4-time felon in society brought a lot of judgement & closed doors. Facing constant persecution working hard to get any job that would hire him including fast food & construction to make ends meet. Describing a very humbling experience all while determined to achieve his reformation goals he eventually completed his probation being free moved back to the east coast to North Carolina from Indiana to pursue a music opportunity. Overcoming adversity with extreme dedication faced many closed doors but opened numerous windows for his passion with support from his future wife & community seeing talent he scouted likeminded artists & began sponsoring local music showcases & performances offering studio recording engineering music production & videography services helping others in similar situations share their passion. Something he claims he wished someone did for him. Gaining reputable notoriety from the local music community he started JEVIPESCI Productions an independent Hip Hop company specializing in musical artist talent services including recording engineering promotion marketing & distribution. To give back opportunities & open avenues for young artists an alternate to the streets & share their talent with the world operating without the funding from outside major record labels. Now based out of Orlando Florida. The years that followed would produce elevation growth constant learning, adapting, sacrifice, discipline & determination. Continuing to fight the system & break barriers never thought possible. After being denied standing before the federal board of pardons retelling his reformatory story was granted a full pardon by the governor of Delaware for all his felony charges in 2019. A self-proclaimed cycle breaker also pursuing new career paths in real estate encountered pushing limitations when appearing before The Florida state DBPR to tell his story once again & fight for his rights as a recovered felon to take the Florida state NAR exam received acquired votes & given acceptance across the board then went on to pass the state exam becoming a licensed Florida state Realtor and business owner starting a home rehab business “KAR Real Estate Group” with his wife Ashley explaining is another way to give back to the community. Releasing musical projects under his independent label JEVIPESCIPRODUCTIONS helping struggling artists from mixtapes promos video services to EPs singles & full-length albums retelling his story attributing a name for himself in the music meta verse. With much adoration following the release of his studio debut project “Judgement Environment Violence Instinct” & now most recent 20 track sequel “J.E.V.I 2” has shown the artist has found his niche by staying true to himself & never giving up as the hard work is finally paying off within the music world coming full circle including a featured article in the Orlando Voyager and awarded “Producer of the year 2022” by the city of Ocoee, FL. With overall goals to be an inspiration providing hope, patience & perseverance to other human beings facing similar situations. Quoting “I’m still here for a reason they don’t call me Lonjevity for nothing” jokingly emphasized although he has been doing hip hop for a long time believes it is just the beginning for this multi-talented self-proclaimed juggernaut with new fans all around the globe respectfully looking forward to what Jevi brings next! Listening to J.E.V.I 2 is truly a breath of fresh hip hop air within the current saturated industry.

SM- What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

I have multiple future projects set for release including my next few albums titles J.E.V.I 3, J.E.V.I 4, U Have 2 Die 2 Leave Here, The Most Dangerous Animal in The World & more! Featuring many of my favorite artists! I will be performing live at this year’s Hustlefest 2023 in Orlando at Level 13 Easter weekend & my music video for my single “Ryde Witta G” filmed in Cancun also drops this month. Stay tuned for more surprises!

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

Growing up less fortunate it was normal to be told no even with limitless potential & talent, monetary value limited accessible capability & growth. Through years of sheer will & determination becoming self-taught constantly learning I cut out any middlemen & overcame obstacles by creating my own access and becoming the source in turn opening possibilities for struggling artists faced with similar challenges. Giving back to the communities gave purpose & priceless opportunity.

SM- How was this put together and how does it benefit the consumers?

From struggle come progress & failure is the greatest teacher, I believe success is measured by the obstacles which one has overcome so each relationship is distinctive providing consumers a unique perspective to maximize growth based on these principles gives invaluable motivation you can’t teach or pay to learn in schools.

1330 "1330 you the realest"

Using music as a canvas, KNG PASTOR aka 1330 vividly paints a picture of life, love, and the pursuit of a better tomorrow. Upon releasing 5 independent singles that showcased his unique lyrical ability, 1330 has gained a worldwide following. 1330's goal is to release songs independently that showcases his diverse musical talent.

Born and raised in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn, New York, 1330 stayed close to both the good and bad side of inner city living. After being incarcerated for 12 months as a Juvenile, he moved to Broward County Florida. It was here where he was exposed to Soul music and Southern culture. 1330 later moved to Washington, DC, Dallas, Virginia, Maryland, and Durham. Having this unique living experience allowed him to see the world through a wide lens.

In July 2019, 1330's younger brother passed away. It was through this tragic event where he felt the need to express his recent loss. Although not completely sold on the idea of returning to music and becoming a music artist, 1330 found a voice message from his late brother urging him to write music again. Knowing that 1330's true passion was writing music he encouraged his brother through voicemail to follow his dreams. This message was very personal but we hope that one day 1330 will share this with the world. 1330 continues to release quality music for both current and potential listeners to enjoy.

SM- What message are you hoping to get across to the people by doing what you do?

I'm truly trying to inspire the younger generation. I hope to be a mentor of many one day.

SM- Tell us about what you’re promoting and the details around it? I would like the opportunity to speak to people who can appreciate the ups and downs of life through music. I really put my heart and experiences into what I write and much like day and night, they both deserve shine.

SM- What's unique about this that separates it from the rest? I don't know what separates me, I just know that I'm always going to speak from the heart.

SM- Who was a part of this project that contributed to its success? I one day hope to have a team but for right now I'm mainly self-maintained.

SM- What is the inspiration behind what you do?

Honestly, I make music become to love to. I was once a struggling artist at one point and I made songs that were targeted for radio. Nowadays, I'm humbled to say that I just make music straight from the heart.

SM- Why is this so valuable to you? And why now?

If I didn't have the ability to make music I would be unbalanced.

SM-What are some other things people can expect from you in the near future?

I'll be focusing on an album soon. For now, I'll be dropping a single monthly so lock in!
