CA5 Series - New CVD coated carbide for steel
Serie CA5 - Nuevo M.D. recubierto CVD para acero
The high adhesion strength of coating layer "Ultra fine interface" provides long tool life and stable machining by improved adhesion strength of 40%. A smooth and flat surface provides low cutting force, allowing sharp cutting and stable machining. Also the carbide substrate has been improved resulting in high hardness at high temperature.
La gran fuerza de adhesi贸n de la capa de recubrimiento "Ultra fine interface" produce gran duraci贸n y mecanizado estable al mejorar la fuerza de adhesi贸n un 40%. Una superficie lisa y suave produce bajo esfuerzo de corte, permitiendo el corte vivo y mecanizado estable. Tambi茅n se ha mejorado el substrato confiriendole alta dureza en alta temperatura.

MRW Face Mill lowers cutting costs The new cutter lowers cutting costs and increases efficiency due to economical 8-edges per insert. Combining sharpness and cutting edge strength to this geometry makes it applicabale to a wide variety of application, improving milling performances. The double-sided round inserts improve milling in a wide variety of materials. Available end mill diameter: 32 - 63mm. Available face mill diameter: 50 - 125mm.

New CVD and PVD coated Nuevas calidades de MD recubierto CVD y PVD carbide grades CA6535 (CVD): High efficient machining of Ni-base heat resistant alloy and martensitic stainless steel can be done easily offering high heat resistance and wear resistance by CVD coating and improved stability due to thin film coating technology. PR1535 (PVD): For titanium alloy and precipitation hardened stainless steel. Stabilized milling operation and long tool life with MEGACOAT NANO coating technology. These two new grades will be applied to the major milling series.
CA6536 (CVD): Se puede conseguir un mecanizado muy eficiente de aleacciones resistentes a Tª de base Niquel y acero inoxidable martensítico ofreciendo un recubrimiento CVD de gran resistencia al calor y al desgaste y mayor estabilidad con tecnologia de recubrimiento de película fina. PR1535 (PVD): Para aleaciones de titanio y acero inoxidable endurecido por precipitación. Fresado estable y gran duración de herramienta con la tecnología de recubrimiento MEGACOAT NANO. Estas dos calidades nuevas se aplicarán a la mayoría de series de fresado.

The new cutter with positive type round insert offers 6 cutting edges per insert. The axial rake angle of max 10° lowers cutting force and the stable insert clamping holds the insert firmly due to the flat contact face of insert. The 2 special chipbreaker design reduces the temperature during machining operation at the cutting area and therefore increases the tool life of insert. The high rigidity toolholder design of MRX is very durable and contributes to the overall tool life. The MRX is applicable to steel, cast iron and heat resistant alloy in a wide range of applications.
La nueva fresa con placa redonda positiva ofrece 6 cortes por placa. El ángulo de inclinación axial de 10º max. reduce la fuerza de de corte, y la sujección estable de la placa mantiene la placa firmemente dado que la cara de contacto es plana. MFPN Face Mill with new Wiper Insert MFPN Face Mill with double sided pentagonal inserts Offering 10 edges per insert makes the MFPN a cost effective solution for your machining process. The insert pocket with two contact faces provides high accuracy and spreads the cutting force evenly. A good shearing effect, which is promoted by the high axial rake angle (Max.+10°), provides a better bite into the workpiece which lowers the cutting force significantly. To improve the surface finish more Kyocera has developed the wiper insert for MFPN series. One Wiper insert should be attached to one cutter.

Now with the MEWH it is possbile to machine with up to 3 flutes, 5 stages and 15 inserts showing excellent surface finish and stable machining. The diameter for MEWH are available from 25 - 50 mm, for MEW end mill type 16 - 32mm and for face mill type 32 - 80mm. 3 chipbreaker and 4 grades are covering a wide range of applications.
