Las paginas de esta edición de El Periódico de Sotogrande, el primero que desata las ocho ediciones quincenales que tenemos preparadas para contar todo y cuánto acontece este verano en Sotogrande (que será mucho y bueno); recogen entre otros reportajes/informes los más que positivos datos de ocupación durante la última gran ventana vacacional (Semana Santa). También se habla, en el sector inmobiliario, de crecimiento continuo y constate en los valores de las viviendas e índices de precios para las diferentes propiedades; siempre contralado y con etapas más/menos activas; pero que mantienen una inercia ascendente y vaticinan otro buen año de productividad como el que se vivió en el sector durante el 2021. Los galardones y distintivos de calidad natural y sostenibilidad, las apuestas por alternativas más óptimas para el medio ambiente (el lago de Valderrama) y otras muchas iniciativas que presenta un entorno y destino de alta calidad para el turismo en Sotogrande. La urbanización siempre ha tenido la ventaja de ser un complejo de turismo residencial, más que de oscilación en grandes estructuras. En ocasiones, por el hecho de contar demasiadas veces un mismo hecho o acontecimiento, lo sucedido en cuestión pierde cierto hilo de interés, de peculiaridad y de brillo en sí mismo. El deporte en Sotogrande, por ser un ejemplo que puede romper la regla, es afortunadamente lo contrario. No cansa, no aburre y siempre regala optimismo y productividad en el resort, en toda su zona de influencia y en el tejido empresarial y laboral de toda la región. El deporte de élite en Sotogrande, su regreso cada temporada, es sinónimo de prosperidad, desarrollo y crecimiento en todos los niveles para destino tan singular como éste. El polo está de vuelta en Sotogrande. Un apunte para los más entendidos, ya se habla de seis equipos de Alto Hándicap y los nombres de ‘Sapo Caset’ y los Hermanos Castagnola, serán algunas de las estrellas este verano. Si algo tiene Sotogrande es que nunca acaba dónde uno piensa. Si con fuerza llega el polo, más empuje tiene todavía el golf. Estas páginas recogen la primera cita en Bangkok de Aramco Team Series (que visitará la urbanización a mediados de agosto). La edición 2021 del Estrella Damm N.A. Andalucía Masters en el Real Club Valderrama ya tiene a la venta sus entradas para octubre y mirando un poco más allá, ya se han vendido más de 10.000 boletos para la Solheim Cup 2023 en Finca Cortesín (restan menos de 500 días). Todo está en marcha. Sometimes, by recounting the same event or occasion too many times, whatever has happened loses a certain amount of its interest, specialness or shine. As an example that is the exception to the rule, sport in Sotogrande is fortunately the opposite. It doesn´t tire, it doesn´t bore and it always offers optimism and productivity in the resort, in its entire area of influence and in the business and working community of the entire region. Elite sport in Sotogrande, its return each season, is synonymous with prosperity, development and growth at all levels for such a unique destination like this one. Polo is back in Sotogrande. Alongside Ayala, the season looks as exciting or more each year, at what will be the consolidation of the emblematic club as the main organiser and manager of polo in Sotogrande (in how we understand the peak season and the International Summer Tournament). People are talking about polo again in Sotogrande in many of the horse farms, arenas, boxes and stands are returning as a gathering point for enjoying a good afternoon of polo accompanied by family and friends, something completely “made in Sotogrande”. In few places worldwide, this sport, one of the most exclusive and select that can be played, are people so immersed and involved in the culture and in the fabric of their community. More than 1,200 horses and more than 50 organisations will pass through the local clubs between May and September. An objective that has been greatly applauded and it is thought that within a short time it will bring great returns for the entire area. Alcaidesa-Faro y Cala Sardina, playas distinguidas con la Bandera Azul • El Consistorio insiste que la falta de este distintivo en la playa de Torreguadiaro se debe a un problema de saneamiento que no depende del Consistorio, sino de la empresa mancomunada ARCGISA. La Asociación de Educación Ambiental y del Consumidor (Adeac) revalidó este año las banderas azules de las playas de Alcaidesa-Faro (Torrecarbonera) y Cala Sardina, así como la distinción como Centro Azul para el Aula de la Naturaleza del Pinar del Rey. Asimismo, Puerto Sotogrande vuelve a conseguir su bandera azul, si bien se trata de una instalación de titularidad privada. Desde el Ayuntamiento se recalca el compromiso con la calidad en el servicio de playas para todo el municipio, independientemente de si se cuenta o no con

distinción de Adeac. Por lo tanto, las diez playas sanroqueñas, tanto del litoral de la Bahía como del mediterráneo, volverán a contar con servicios de atención sanitaria, socorrismo y salvamento, así como de equipamientos como módulos de aseos y duchas, por citar algunos. A ello hay que añadir la limpieza que, en los meses estivales, se lleva a cabo diariamente en cada una de las playas. Asimismo, está previsto repetir con las cámaras web, la megafonía y la información sobre el estado de playas a través de Internet y dispositivos móviles.

En cuanto a la no recuperación de la bandera azul que ostentaba la playa de Torreguadiaro hasta el año pasado, se recuerda que se debe a un problema de saneamiento que no depende del Consistorio, sino de la empresa mancomunada ARCGISA, y que se ha pedido la reparación en reiteradas ocasiones. Las banderas azules se conceden no sólo por la calidad de las

aguas y por la limpieza de la arena de las playas, sino también por contar con servicios de socorrismo, salvamento y atención sanitaria y, también, por disponer de suficientes módulos de servicios y mobiliario como duchas, papeleras y pasarelas.

Hay que recordar que, además de las enseñas que se han concedido a San Roque, Adeac tan sólo ha distinguido con bandera azul en el Campo de Gibraltar a otra playa y a un puerto deportivo, situados en sendos municipios.

In addition to that, there is the cleaning that, during the summer months, is carried out on a daily basis on each of the beaches. Likewise, the plan is to have the web cameras again, along with the public speaker system and information about the status of beaches via Internet and mobile devices. As for the non-renewal of the blue flag that was held on Torreguadiaro beach until last year, it is worth remembering that it is due to a sanitation problem that does not depend on the Council, but rather the community company ARCGISA, and that the repair has been requested seve-

ral times. Blue flags are not only awarded for the quality of water and the cleanliness of the sand of the beaches, but also for having lifeguard, lifesaving and medical assistance, and also for having enough units for services and furniture such as showers, bins and walkways. It is worth remembering that, in addition to the distinctions awarded to San Roque, in Campo de Gibraltar Adeac has only awarded a blue flag to another beach and a marina, located in separate municipalities.

Espías y políticos El espionaje es, por definición, una actividad secreta. Sin embargo, hemos asistido en España durante las últimas semanas al insólito espectáculo de que los espías han estado sobre el tapete público, y han sido objeto de debate en el Parlamento, en los medios de comunicación, y en las conversaciones cotidianas de los ciudadanos. Como corresponde a una historia de misterio, algunas cosas sabemos, y otras no. Sabemos que la tecnología israelí Pegasus, de ciberespionaje, y al parecer solo accesible a compradores oficiales de los Estados, fue utilizada para intervenir los teléfonos móviles de políticos. Supimos primero que esos políticos eran independentistas catalanes, pero después nos enteramos de que fueron espiados la ministra de Defensa, Margarita Robles, y hasta el presidente, Pedro Sánchez. Supimos que el Centro Nacional

de Inteligencia había efectivamente espiado a políticos nacionalistas catalanes, aunque no a todos los que denunciaron esa invasión. Lo hizo con la correspondiente autorización judicial; dicho espionaje parece razonable, dados los desafíos de los independentistas el Estado español. Por fin, supimos que la directora del CNI, Paz Esteban, había sido cesada. A partir de este punto, hay solo incógnitas y sospechas. ¿Quién pudo espiar sin autorización? Se ha rumoreado que pudo ser el servicio secreto marroquí, o hasta el ruso, pero no hay pruebas. El Gobierno español ha negado tener responsabilidad alguna en el asunto, presentándose, oportunamente, como víctima de “un fallo en la seguridad de las comunicaciones”, según afirmó Sánchez, que presumió de “absoluta transparencia ante la opinión pública”. La oposición, sin embargo, re-

chazó sus planteamientos, sobre la base de dos argumentos de cierto peso. Por un lado, no es creíble que el Gobierno no supiera nada de todo esto. Y, por otro lado, nadie del Ejecutivo explicó bien por qué la señora Esteban fue destituida. Todo indica que su cese fue el

Spies and politicians Espionage is, by definition, a secret activity. However, in Spain, over the last few weeks we have witnessed the extraordinary spectacle of spies being on the public tablet, and they have been debated in Parliament, in the media, and in the daily conversations of citizens. As befits a mystery story, we know somethings, and others we do not. We know that the Israeli technology Pegasus, for cyber-espionage, seemingly only accessible for official state buyers of States, was used to interfere with the mobile phones of politicians. First, we found out that those politicians were Catalan inde-

pendence supporters, but then we found out that the Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, and even the president, Pedro Sánchez, were spied on. We found out that the National Intelligence Centre had indeed spied on Catalan nationalist politicians, although not on all of them who had condemned the invasion. It did so with the corresponding judicial authorisation; the espionage seems reasonable, given the challenge of the independence supporters to the Spanish State. Finally, we found out that the director of the CNI, Paz Esteban had been dis-

El precio de la vivienda sube un 4,85% frente al año pasado • El valor residencial en Andalucía se incrementa un 4,19% respecto al pasado curso La vivienda de segunda mano en España tuvo un precio medio de 1.906 euros por metro cuadrado en el mes de abril de 2022, subiendo un 0,72% frente a marzo; mientras que ese mismo valor en Andalucía en abril de 2022 tuvo un precio superior al 1,09% respecto al mes de marzo; según los últi-

mos informes del portal especializado Pisos. Destaca que Andalucía fue la octava autonomía más cara de España, por detrás de Baleares (3.363 €/m²), entre otras. En cuanto a la vivienda de segunda mano en España, en abril de 2022 registró un ascenso mensual del 0,72%. De

un año a otro, la cifra registrada marcó una subida del 4,85%. De un mes a otro, Huelva (2,41%) fue la provincia española que más subió. Por su parte, Jaén (-1,44%) fue la quinta provincia española que más se ajustó. Interanualmente, Málaga (10,55%) obtuvo el primer puesto entre las

provincias españolas que más crecieron, mientras que Jaén (-5,06%) fue la segunda provincia del país que más se devaluó. En cuestión de precios, la provincia andaluza más cara fue Málaga (2.326 €/m²), siendo la séptima en el ranking nacional. En cuanto a las capitales anda-

luzas, Cádiz (1,80%) fue la séptima que más subió del país, mientras que Jaén (-2,28%) fue la tercera capital española que más se devaluó. Frente al pasado año, Málaga (7,51%) fue la octava capital española que más subió. Por su parte, Jaén (-2,22%) fue la sexta que más bajó del país.

Property prices rise by 4.85% compared to last year • Property values in Andalusia have risen by 4.19% compared to last year Second-hand properties in Spain had an average price of 1,906 Euros per square metre in April 2022, rising by 0.72% compared to March; meanwhile the same value in Andalusia in April 2022 had a price over 1.09% compared to the month of March; according to the latest reports by the specialised website Pisos.

It is worth highlighting that Andalusia was the eighth most expensive autonomous community in Spain, behind the Balearic Islands (€ 3,363/m2), among others. Semana Santa deja una ocupación turística superior al 75% en la zona • El 80% de los visitantes durante este periplo vacacional fueron de perfil nacional. Buenos datos y optimista balance del turismo, cara a la temporada alta en la zona. La ocupación turística registrada en el municipio de San Roque durante la Semana Santa fue del 60%, si bien el porcentaje superó el 75% de Jueves Santo a Domingo de Resurrección. Así se desprende de los datos recabados por la Delegación de Turismo de los seis establecimientos hoteleros sanroqueños, donde también se destaca la vuelta de los visitantes extranjeros, tras dos años de poca presencia debido a la pandemia. El alcalde, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, y la concejal de Turismo, Ana Ruiz, destacaron “lo positivo” de estos porcentajes, que se acercan a los registrados antes de 2020. El primer edil indicó que “todavía se nota una mayor presencia de visitantes españoles frente a los de fuera de nuestras fronteras, ya que alrededor del 80% de los turistas han sido nacionales y el resto internacionales”. “Por lo tanto -añadió-, las perspectivas de futuro son altamente optimistas. Esperamos que la progresiva vuelta a la normalidad lleve en los próximos meses a que los porcentajes mejoren sensiblemente en los establecimientos volcados en el turismo extranjero. Como la ocupación registrada refleja que ha dado sus frutos el trabajo hecho durante la pandemia para fomentar las visitas de españoles, podemos suponer que se mantendrán en el verano próximo, y que éste va a ser de nuevo de cifras récord, con todo lo que supone en cuanto a creación de riqueza

Sotogrande se prepara para bailar este verano • Se presenta el Sotogrande Music Festival, con siete conciertos confirmados para agosto y septiembre Estrellas de la canción como Raphael, Miguel Poveda o Vanesa Martín actuarán durante los meses de agosto y septiembre en el Sotogrande Music Festival, una nueva iniciativa que pretende competir con festivales españoles de primer nivel. Promueven las empresas Eternidad Eventos y ProduceMe, y colaboran el Ayuntamiento de San Roque y la Diputación Provincial de Cádiz. Los conciertos, al menos siete, se realizarán en instalaciones

de Santa María Polo Club, y las entradas podrán adquirirse muy pronto en eternidadeventos.com. En cuanto a los conciertos ya confirmados, el primero será una Noche de Carnaval en Sotogrande, que se celebrará el 6 de agosto. Ya están confirmadas las actuaciones de las comparsas “La Brigada”, de Tino Tovar, y “Los Sumisos”, de Martínez Ares, aunque habrá más agrupaciones participantes. En cuanto al concierto de

India Martínez, el 12 de agosto, se incluye en su gira “90 minutos +”, mientras que la cantante malagueña Vanesa Martín presentará el día 20 su último disco, “Siete veces sí”, así como algunos de sus temas más conocidos dentro de su Tour 2022. Ana Ruiz, delegada de Turismo, explicó que casi todas las actividades se celebrarán en la Plaza de las Constituciones. “Allí comenzaremos el viernes 20 a las 20.00 horas con el concierto de la banda linense de versiones La Tourné, que garantizan mucha diversión. A continuación actuará el grupo sevillano de flamenco-pop Calle Pureza, y cerraremos la noche con el mejor rock’n’roll de la mano Howlin’ Ramblers, un grupo de músicos campogibraltareños con sede en San Roque y proyección internacional”. “El sábado 21 -añadió la edil- comenzaremos las actividades a las 18.00 horas en la Plaza de Toros, con el espectáculo “Cómo bailan los caballos andaluces”, una exhibición

Aunque la fecha de celebración del aniversario de la ciudad es el 21 de mayo, al caer en sábado, el Pleno acordó en su momento que la festividad local y, por tanto, el Pleno Institucional, se trasladara al viernes 20 de mayo de 2022. Así, y a propuesta de los diferentes grupos políticos, se aprobó por unanimidad otorgar la Medalla de Oro de la Ciudad a la Venerable Hermandad de Penitencia de Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y María Santísima de los Dolores. The Plenary of the Council of San Roque anonymously approved the designation of the people and entities that will receive Honours and Distinctions at the 2022 Institutional Plenary of Honours and Distinctions. This was announced yesterday by the Mayor of San Roque at the ordinary plenary. Although the date for celebrating the anniversary of the city is 21 May, as it falls on Saturday, the plenary agreed that the local festivity, and thus the Institutional Plenary, would be moved to Friday 20 May 2022. Thus, and as proposed by different political groups, it was unanimously agreed to award the Gold Medal of the

City to the Venerable Brotherhood of Penitence of Our Father Jesus of Nazareth and Most Holy Mary of Sorrows. The title of Favourite Child will go to Eduardo López Gil and Bernardo Piña Cruces, posthumously. José Ramón Ramírez Torti and José Enrique García Sáinz de Medrano will be Honorary Members of the Corporation. Foodtrucks y espectáculos infantiles para el Día de la Ciudad Con motivo del 316 Aniversario de la Fundación de la Ciudad, la Plaza de las Constituciones albergará los días 20, 21 y 22 el San Roque Foodtruck Festival, organizado por la Delegación de Juventud. Así, además de estos populares camiones, que ofrecerán distintos tipos de comidas, habrá diferentes actividades que servirán de complemento a los conciertos programados para el viernes y sábado por la Delegación de Cultura. La previsión es contar en este San Roque Foodtruck Festival con alrededor de diez camiones distintos, donde se ofrecerán pizzas, hamburguesas, comida mexicana, bebidas... Funcionará en horario de mañana y de tarde, y habrá conciertos de tributo a distintos artistas españoles e internacionales, así como espectáculos infantiles. En cuanto a las actividades programadas por Cultura, se desarrollarán el viernes 20 (jornada festiva local) y el sábado 21. Así, el viernes a mediodía se realizará el Pleno Institucional de Honores y Distinciones en el Teatro Juan Luis Galiardo, y por la noche, a partir de las 20.00 horas, habrá tres conciertos en la Plaza de las Constituciones. Respecto al sábado, a las 18.00 en la Plaza de Toros habrá una exhibición de arte ecuestre, y a partir de las 20.00 horas se llevarán a cabo tres conciertos en la Plaza de las Constituciones.

Food trucks and children´s shows for Day of the City On 20, 21 and 22, to mark the 316th anniversary of the Founding of the City, Plaza de las Constituciones will host the San Roque Food Truck Festival, organised by the Department of Youth. Thus, in addition to these popular trucks, which will offer different types of food, there will be different activities that will serve as a complement to the concerts scheduled for Friday and Saturday by the Department of Culture. The plan is for San Roque Food Truck Festival to have around ten different trucks, which will offer pizzas, burgers, Mexican food, drinks... José Regueira, hasta siempre compañero Escribir unas líneas sobre un hombre como José Regueira no es fácil, ni siquiera para los que nos ganamos la vida con las palabras y andamos acostumbrados a sumar caracteres. Por eso, me voy a permitir dejar a un lado la objetividad. No voy a narrar la trayectoria impecable de este gallego, farmacéutico de profesión e historiador por vocación, porque, de hacerlo, necesitaría que fuera por fascículos y, porque, considero, que hay personas más adecuadas para ello. Lo que quiero, con estas líneas, es recordar al colaborador de La Revista de Sotogrande: Don José Regueira Ramos, un gran

maestro para todos los que tuvimos la suerte de conocerlo, de trabajar con él y, sobre todo, de escucharlo. Y es que cuando Regueira hablaba de historia, se hacía el silencio. Daba gusto aprender de su mano, con esa sencillez y cercanía que hacen

fácil lo complicado y esa pasión contagiosa que despierta las ganas de saber y que solo las personas más auténticas son capaces de transmitir. Cuando llegué a la redacción de esta publicación, en 2007, él ya formaba parte de sus páginas y en ellas permaneció durante cerca de veinte años, ilustrándonos sobre la historia del Campo de Gibraltar. Un artículo que llegaba cada edición con puntualidad británica o, en este caso, gallega. Durante mucho tiempo se acercaba por la oficina con su documento guardado en un pendrive con el tamaño perfecto y sin una tilde o errata por corregir. Saludaba al

director, José Luis García, y echaba un buen rato de charla con Javier Palacios mientras se descargaba el archivo. No se quien de los dos disfrutaba más de aquellos momentos. Con el paso de los años, Don José actualizó el sistema y comenzó a enviar su artículo por correo electrónico. Eso sí, sin pasar por alto la visita posterior para coger unas revistas y, para nuestra fortuna, regalarnos su compañía, cargada de anécdotas y vivencias siempre interesantes. Un día, poco antes de la pandemia, se acercó por la redacción para decirme que ya no iba a mandar más artículos porque

se encontraba algo cansado y que, para no hacerlo bien, mejor dejarlo. Hasta en eso fue un maestro, sin duda. Y, aunque lo sentí, supe que era lo más acertado. Tocaba descansar, pasear y saludarnos por Torreguadiaro, echando un ratito de conversación y recordando su paso por La Revista de Sotogrande; siempre me lo mencionaba. Allá donde estés, descansa en paz. Los que tuvimos la inmensa fortuna de cruzarnos en tu camino, jamás te olvidaremos. Porque, compañero, te hacías de querer.

Over the years, Don José updated the system and began to send his article via email. José Regueira, farewell friend It isn´t easy to write a few lines about a man like José Regueira, not even for those of us who make a living with words and are used to adding characters. Therefore, I am going to set aside objectivity. I am not going to narrate the impeccable trajectory of this Galician, a pharmacist by profession and historian by profession, because, doing so would require writing pages and because I think there are better people to do so. In this lines, what I want to do is to remember the collaborator of So-

togrande Magazine: Mr José Regueira Ramos, a great master for all of us who were lucky to know him, work with him and, above all, listen to him. And when Regueira talked about history, the room fell silent. It was great to learn from him, with that simplicity and closeness that make difficult things easy and that infectious passion that arouses a desire to learn and that only the most authentic people are capable of transmitting. When I joined the editorial team of this publication, in 2007, he was already part of its pages and he

remained in them for almost twenty years, enlightening us about the history of Campo de Gibraltar. An article that reached each edition with British punctuality, or in this case, Galician. For a long time, he would come to the office with his document stored in a pen drive, perfectly sized and without a single mistake to correct. He would greet the director, José Luis García, and spend a good while chatting to Javier Palacios while the file was downloaded. I´m not sure which of the two enjoyed those moments more.

Plan especial de limpieza integral, en Pueblo Nuevo Durante buena parte de las últimas jornadas, trabajadores adscritos a Limpieza Viaria se dirigieron a Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro para realizar una limpieza integral de la barriada y que incluyó otras labores de embellecimiento del entorno, recogida de enseres y otros trabajos. De esta manera, los operarios municipales se encargaron de realizar un barrido manual, así como el empleo de la máquina barredora por las principales vías de la zona. Entre ellas, las inmediaciones del puesto de Guadiaro de la Guardia Civil, en la confluencia de las calles Gredos e Itálica. Claves para convertir reproches en peticiones

Turning reproaches into requests is something that, often, the mediator does during sessions to facilitate dialogue between people in a conflict. Reproaches contribute nothing is the aim is for the parties in conflict to understand one another better, grow closer, have a dialogue and reach agreement. Although by having reproaches the aim is to have an impact on the other in order to generate change, the reality is that the effect is normally the contrary; the more we complain and criticise someone, the less likely it is that they will pay attention. Having reproaches distances people and blocks communication. Having reproaches during an argument that affects us emotionally is relatively frequent, this reproach can be more or less useful, but ultimately, it is an aggressive complaint, disparaging. In its extreme forms it can bring ridicule, insult or threaten the other person, making them feel defenceless, sad, guilty, of little value or insecure. Occasionally, it can be understandable, but when the reproaches become some common and constant, no matter how small they are, it is time to check if the aim of our words is to help, let off steam or do damage and ask ourselves if we can learn to communicate better. It isn´t the same to say: “You are always busy, I seem to matter less to you each day” as saying “I am sorry that we haven´t spent time together lately, I miss you, do you think we could do something together this week?”. That means transforming a reproach into a request. Although emotions are overwhelming, you can consider the other as a support instead of an outlet. Even if there are aspects in the other that cause frustration, you can tell them calmly and friendly how you feel, what annoyed you and what you would like to happen in the future. By promoting reflection and the understanding of new ideas from within it will be easier to maintain constructive communication. Here are some keys to doing this: Feelings are yours regardless of who causes them. Don´t blame the other for what you are feeling and assume your emotions as your own. Change the “you are getting on my nerves to “I get agitated when you do that”. Focus on the present or future instead of on the past, as acting on the now opens up possibilities. It is better to say: “I would like you to do it” instead of “You never pay attention to me”. Avoid generalising. Focus on specific actions instead of the way that the other acts. Try a: “You are a little angry today, is something wrong?”, instead of “you are rude, you always have a lot of nerve”. Use please, thanks and sorry sincerely. Words and the right tone avoid a lot of arguments. Dialogue and change is easier through closeness and support than through distance and pain. Despite the fact that sometimes two people cannot agree, it is always more comforting to turn the other into your ally instead of your enemy.

Nada aporta el reproche si lo que se busca es que las partes enfrentadas se comprendan mejor, acerquen posturas, dialoguen y lleguen a acuerdos. Aunque al reprochar pretendamos crear impacto sobre el otro para generar cambio, la realidad es que el efecto suele ser el contrario: cuanto más nos quejamos y criticamos a alguien, menos probable es que quiera hacernos caso. Reprochar distancia a las personas y bloquea la comunicación. Caer en el reproche durante una discusión que nos afecta emocionalmente es relativamente frecuente, este reproche puede ser más o menos sutil, pero, en definitiva, es una queja agresiva, una descalificación. En sus formas extremas puede ridiculizar, insultar o amenazar a la otra persona, haciéndola sentir indefensa, triste, culpable, poco valiosa o insegura. Puntualmente puede ser comprensible, pero cuando los reproches se convierten en algo habitual y constante, por pequeños que sean, es momento de revisar si el propósito de nuestras palabras es ayudar, desahogarnos o hacer daño y preguntarnos si podemos aprender a comunicarnos mejor. No es lo mismo decir: “Siempre estas ocupado, parece que cada día te importo menos” que

“Siento que últimamente no pasamos tiempo juntos, te echo de menos, ¿crees que podríamos hacer algo juntos esta semana?”. Eso es transformar un reproche en una petición.

Mejor decir: “Me gustaría que lo hicieras” en lugar de “Nunca me haces caso”. Evita generalizar. Céntrate en las acciones concretas en lugar de en la forma de ser del otro. Prueba con un: “Hoy estas algo enfadad@ ¿te ocurre algo?”, en vez de con un “eres un@ borde, siempre estas de morros”. Utiliza el por favor, gracias y lo siento sin ironías. Las palabras y el tono adecuado evitan muchas discusiones. Es más sencillo el diálogo y el cambio desde la cercanía y el apoyo que desde la distancia y el dolor. Pese a que a veces dos personas no puedan estar de acuerdo, siempre es más reconfortante convertir al otro en tu aliado en lugar de en tu enemigo.

Ayala Polo presenta una apasionante campaña con más de 250 partidos entre mayo y septiembre. La zona acogerá la presencia de más de 1.200 caballos este curso y generará de manera directa/indirecta más de 300 empleos. La organización confirma la presencia este verano de seis equipos de Alto Hándicap y de los cracks: Guillermo ‘Sapo’ Caset y los Hermanos Castagnola.

Ayala Polo Club presentó la temporada de polo 2022 en Sotogrande con una conferencia de prensa y acto de presentación en las fabulosas instalaciones de Cancha II, dentro del extraordinario complejo de Ayala en San Enrique de Guadiaro. Con la asistencia de Paola Zobel en la mesa presidencial, se llevó a cabo la presentación del logo con el que se identificará la temporada en Sotogrande (un bonito diseño que combina el escudo de Ayala con la imagen corporativa del torneo en el 50 aniversario), así como el 51º Torneo Internacional de Verano, que en esta edición se celebrará entre las sedes de Ayala Polo y Los Pinos (propiedad de SMPC pero que este año cuenta con la gestión total de Ayala, tanto en la parte deportiva como social). Está prevista la participación de más de 50 equipos a lo largo de toda la temporada y de la disputa de más de 250 encuentros este verano en Sotogrande. Se dio a conocer que la celebración de la temporada de polo generará de manera directa e indirecta casi más de 250/300 puestos de trabajo asistenciales, así como que se espera albergar la llegada de más de 1.200 caballos durante la temporada (más de la mitad durante la parte central de la competición en verano). De cara, estrictamente, al 51º Torneo Internacional de Verano, se adelantó que Ayala Polo gestionará al completo los tres niveles de competición este curso: Alto, Mediano y Bajo Hándicap. La previsión es que participarán ocho equipos tanto en nivel Mediano como Bajo y se espera reunir seis organizaciones de máximo nivel para el Alto Hándicap. Desde la dirección de Ayala se confirmó también la presencia de espacios gastronómicos, comerciales y sociales en las diferentes sedes en las que se celebre el torneo de verano. Sin desvelar equipos, se pudo avanzar la asistencia confirmada de Guillermo ‘Sapo’ Caset (ganador de la Copa de Oro en Sotogrande el pasado año de la mano de Marqués de Riscal) y los Hermanos Castagnola, recientemente vencedores con La Natividad del Abierto Argentino de Polo en su última edición (diciembre de 2021). Sin duda, se presenta una temporada apasionante de polo en Sotogrande de la mano de Ayala y con la colaboración, como el pasado de año del grupo Minuto 7 en la configuración del programa deportivo. España saca el billete para el Campeonato del Mundo de Polo • La selección española salda con victoria los playoffs en el fantástico Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly y consigue su pase para el Mundial en Palm Beach. España insuperable. El combinado español confirmó una una racha impecable y cerró su presencia en el Campeonato del Mundo de Polo que tendrá lugar del 26 de octubre al 6 de noviembre en el International Polo Club de Palm Beach (Wellington-Florida, Estados Unidos). El Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly fue el encargado de acoger la fase de clasificación. El equipo español (14) estuvo formado por: Pelayo Berazadi (5), Nicolás Ruiz Guiñazu (4), Luis Domecq (3) y Nicolás Álvarez (2). También consiguió el pase la Selección de Italia que tan sólo cedió un encuentro, precisamente ante el cuarteto español. El conjunto francés, otro de los equipos más destacados, tuvo un comienzo de torneo difícil, enfrentándose a España y después a Italia. Alemania y Suiza también participaron de la competición sin demasiado éxito deportivo. Destacar que clasificados o eliminados, todos guardarán un gran recuerdo de estos magníficos playoffs perfectamente organizados por el Polo Club du Domaine de Chantilly en nombre de la Federación Francesa de Polo. Ultimately, a week that will be etched into the memory of all the participants, players and their entourage. At a sporting level, in addition to the aforementioned mastery of the two Mediterranean countries, the level of this tournament was quite high, with a quite impressive quality of horses, particularly in the Spanish side.

La casa de las ideas nos trae la que sin duda es una de las comedias más esperadas del año y es que llega a Diseney+ la autodenominada ‘secuela independiente’ de ‘Cómo Conocí a Vuestra Madre’ una de las sitcoms más míticas de la década de los 2000. ¿Estará su sucesora a la altura? Lamentablemente la respuesta es que de momento no cuenta con lo elementos que hicieron grande a su predecesora, pecando de ser demasiado blanca y diversa en algunas ocasiones, pero no deja de ser disfrutable y ligera de ver, ya que para cuando te hayas dado cuenta habrás devorado los 10 capítulos que componen esta primera temporada. En su trama nos encontramos con un grupo de amigos, en esta ocasión liderado por Hilary Duff en el que da vida a Sophie, en los que se enfrentaran a distintas situaciones en clave de humor para encontrar el amor, sus ilusiones, sus trabajos, etc.
