Sotogrande y el Valle del Guadiaro salen con ventaja de la partida, eso es indudable, tienen muchos enteros guardados en la manga y ases que son infalibles en casi todas los sectores, pero hoy, en 2024, con cubrir el expediente no es suficiente. Ya no vale con cumplir el trámite si el objetivo es otro, si queremos subir el nivel, si el propósito es la consolidación de este privilegiado rincón del mapa como uno de los destinos ‘premium’ y de mayor calidad en el sur de Europa. Nunca nos importó la cantidad por encima de la calidad y, todo ello, debe transformarse en hechos y evidencias que hoy en día, lo externo y lo interno, no siempre acompaña.

En esta publicación que sostiene entre sus manos verá las muchas asignaturas pendientes que el restan al contexto. Verá obras sin ejecutar, plazos sin cubrir, rincones deprimentes en mitad de zonas turísticas de primer nivel y en especial, verá cierta conformidad y dejadez en otras muchas parcelas en las que tratamos de colocar en el foco para que no queden tras las sombras. De igual modo toca hacer autocrítica interna en todos los ámbitos. Me decía el otro día, acertadamente, un buen amigo y con un cargo de responsabilidad en los designios de esta comunidad, que “hemos perdido una década” muy valiosa en previsión y trabajos. Hoy sólo toca lamentarse y buscar soluciones inmediatas, cuando precisamente hemos perdido la ocasión de invertir con antelación, crear redes de suministros de agua regenerada y adelantarnos a esta incipiente y preocupante situación de sequía. ¿La responsabilidad es de la administración? Indudablemente, pero como sociedad también tenemos un alto porcentaje de culpa por falta de compromiso y demanda; ahora sólo nos queda quejarnos y mirar al cielo para que llueva. ¿Por qué? Por el imponente impacto económico que ello conlleva en el mercado de Sotogrande: mantenimiento de piscinas y jardines, firma de alquileres, cláusulas de contratos por el no uso de piscinas y una lista interminable que acaba afectando, de manera directa e indirecta a numerosas empresas y trabajadores del entorno.

A good friend who holds a role of responsibility in the plans of this community rightly told me the other day that “we have lost a decade” of great value for planning and work. • Los días 28, 29, 30 y 31 de marzo los visitantes podrán disfrutar del Mercadillo de la Marina de Sotogrande en horario matinal.

En Semana Santa vive más que nunca Sotogrande y su marina, gracias a la apertura del desde el jueves hasta el domingo del tradicional mercadillo de Sotogrande. Sin duda, una fantástica noticia para disfrutar de todas las actividades que ofrece la urbanización y darte un paseo por este deslumbrante lugar.

Habla, pueblo, habla

En los próximos meses habrá varias elecciones: en abril se votará en el País Vasco, el 12 de mayo en Cataluña, y en junio serán las elecciones europeas. Cabría evocar la bella canción del grupo Vino Tinto que fue emblema de la transición democrática en nuestro país: “Habla, pueblo, habla”.

Los años, sin embargo, no han transcurrido solamente para cada uno nosotros, sino también para la política y nuestros sentimientos hacia ella. Todo indica que el entusiasmo que muchos albergábamos entonces se ha tornado en cauteloso escepticismo.

Una muestra de lo que han cambiado las cosas es que la canción recogía el anhelo del pueblo español de superar los enfrentamientos del pasado: “Si tienes el deseo de borrar, /Las huellas del rencor”.

Pero lo que hemos visto en la política en los últimos años es justo lo contrario, porque se ha vuelto polarizada entre derecha e izquierda. Asimismo, el nacionalismo, que entonces no parecía amenazar la unidad de España, esgrime ahora su ímpetu separatista con renovados bríos.

Cierto es que sus resultados en las urnas han sido cada vez peores, pero quizá esa unión con los nacionalistas puede ayudar a su recuperación. Según informó La Razón, los socialistas creen que en Cataluña y el País Vasco, donde el Partido Popular es débil, pueden lograr dar un golpe de timón y ganar impulso para no sufrir un daño considerable en los comicios europeos: “de esta forma, el batacazo de las elecciones gallegas será tan solo un mal sueño”.

No sabemos, naturalmente, qué nos deparará el voto popular en las tres próximas citas, entre otras razones porque hay bastante incertidumbre ante la división del mundo nacionalista tanto en el País Vasco como en Cataluña. Pero sí podemos especular con un futuro mejor, e intentar superar la desazón recordando las líneas animosas de aquella

Sin servicio, 16 meses después de dar comienzo las obras

Un plazo más que considerable, casi interminable, para lo que se antoja será uno de los servicios y establecimientos de novedad en Torreguadiaro. La “esperada” churrería en la esquina de la Plaza Encarnación Sánchez Navarro se lleva demorando en el tiempo nada menos que hasta 16 meses desde el inicio de su construcción, en los meses de noviembre-diciembre de 2022.

Un desfase en el tiempo casi inentendible, por todas las partes y con trabajo casi diario de operarios, que continúa sin contar con servicio, apertura o anuncio de inauguración y/o finalización de los trabajos. A lo largo de tiempo ha sufrido, incluso, hasta una arremetida de un accidente de tráfico y fuga de su conductor, con posterior reparación del amurallado, el pasado septiembre. E incluso la rectificación y retirada de una farola por impedir el acceso al propio quiosco. La cuestión es la espera y si más pronto que tarde contará con todos los permisos para disfrutar de unos ‘calentitos’ en Torreguadiaro.

El precio de la vivienda en Andalucía sube un 11,12% frente al año pasado

Las restricciones de agua y su fuerte impacto en el mercado de Sotogrande

• La incertidumbre del uso de piscinas privadas, cláusulas en contratos de alquiler, mantenimiento de jardines o un posible endurecimiento de medidas, pone en alerta a usuarios, agencias y entidades de la comunidad.

• La Junta, que prevé revisar la situación hídrica tras Semana Santa, autorizará llenar las piscinas públicas y sector hotelero o vinculadas al turismo, pero mantiene la prohibición en privadas y comunitarias.

La evidente incertidumbre sobre el uso del agua en plena temporada, sus restricciones y más que posibles consecuencias, directas e indirectas, en la economía del entorno comienza a convertirse en uno de los grandes problemas y preocupaciones más destacadas para el tejido empresarial en Sotogrande y su área de influencia. Son muchas las preguntas por resolver, a cerca de la continuidad o flexibilidad de las medidas restrictivas adoptadas el pasado 10 de enero; así como su directa influencia en el mercado de propiedades y alquileres, tan estrechamente ligado a este entorno y al uso de agua. Algo sencillo de comprobar.

En la actualidad son muchas las agencias y empresas dedicadas, entre otras labores,

a la comercialización de alquileres y rentas vinculadas a propiedades en Sotogrande con piscina privada [así como su relación con el mantenimiento de espacios exteriores y ajardinados], que están viéndose directamente afectados por estas restricciones. Tanto desde el punto de vista económico

como laboral. Ya que en el mejor de los casos debe incluirse una cláusula que anticipe el probable escenario de no poder llenar y/o utilizar la piscina de la propiedad y adecentamiento de espacios verdes.

Una cuestión que perjudica notablemente, tanto al mer-

cado, precios, comercialización y tendencias de real estate; así como a la propia generación de riqueza, productividad y rendimiento de la economía local. No son pocas las agencias y empresas dedicadas a ambos sectores: inmobiliario y conservación y mantenimiento. ¿Las certezas? Desgraciada-

mente muy pocas hasta el momento. Algo que afecta, nuevamente, a la línea de negocio y generación de empleo de no pocas entidades en el Valle del Guadiaro. ¿Las previsiones? Hasta el momento preferentemente positivas. Hace sólo unas horas, la Junta de Andalucía avanzó a través de la Comisión para la Gestión de la Sequía [en el área que afecta a esta zona], que autorizará llenar las piscinas de hoteles y vinculadas al sector turístico [tanto en toda la Costa del Sol, como en el Campo de Gibraltar] pero continuará con las restricciones y prohibición para piscinas de comunidades y privadas, manteniendo las sanciones a este respecto.

De igual modo, el órgano gubernamental autonómico también anunció una nueva

comisión, después de Semana Santa, para poner en situación y analizar la nueva previsión tras varios ciclos de fuertes precipitaciones, evaluar el porcentaje y capacidad cubierta de los embalases, y estudiar la flexibilidad o endurecimiento de las medidas y restricción de contención de agua.

Una mesa que podría ser halagüeña, pero que tras ciertas fuentes vinculadas a la administración y consultadas por El Periódico de Sotogrande; podrían afectar no precisamente de manera positiva al municipio de San Roque, ya que tras algunos muestreos no siempre estos se alinean con los cupos establecidos de uso de agua.

Respecto a Sotogrande, también por fuentes consultadas por este medio, se está llevando a cabo una importante restricción en el uso de agua para riego y espacios ajardinados. Es cierto y digno de mencionar, que en diferentes áreas y sectores de la urbanización sí existe un acondicionamiento para el uso de agua regenerada y terciaria; algo que no se cumple en otros puntos clave del resort. Una cuestión que debió haberse abordado con años de anterioridad; prever un plan adecuado de abastecimiento de agua regenerada y terciaria; y no viéndose abocado a tomar alternativas sobre la marcha a consecuencia de la falta de agua.

Medidas y restricciones adoptadas en el Campo de Gibraltar

Recordar que en la actualidad siguen vigentes las medidas adoptadas por Arcgisa el pasado 10 de enero. Las cuales se aplican con una reducción moderada de la presión: desde las 6.00 a las 23:00 horas; y una reducción drástica del suministro: desde las 23:00 a las 6:00

horas. También se encuentran totalmente prohibidos las siguientes prácticas: riegos de jardines y zonas verdes tanto públicas como privadas, limpieza de los viales tanto públicos como privados, llenado de piscinas privadas y fuentes ornamenta-

les, duchas y surtidores públicos y lavado de vehículos fuera de los establecimientos autorizados, entre otros. Destacar que la utilización de agua potable en estos usos prohibidos conllevará consecuencias legales de carácter graves.

Water restrictions and their big impact on the market in Sotogrande

• Uncertainty regarding the use of private pools, clauses in rental contracts, the maintenance of gardens and a possible toughening of measures puts users, agencies and entities in the community on alert.

spaces.

A question that is particularly harmful for the market, prices, sales and trends in real estate; as well as the generation of wealth, productivity and the performance of the local economy. There are a large number of agencies and companies devoted to both sectors: properties, and conservation and maintenance.

Certainties? Unfortunately, very few thus far. Which once again affects the line of business and the generation of employment by a large number of entities in Valle del Guadiaro.

The forecasts? So far, particularly positive. Just a few hours ago, the Regional Government of Andalusia announced through the Committee for Drought Management (in the area affecting this zone), that it will authorise filling the pools of hotels and those linked to the tourist sector (in both the entire Costa del Sol, and in Campo de Gibraltar) but it will continue with restrictions and the ban on pools for communities and private pools, maintaining sanctions in this regard.

Likewise, the regional governmental body also announced

a new committee, after Holy Week, to highlight the situation and analyse the new forecast after several cycles of heavy rainfall, evaluate the percentage and capacity covered in reservoirs, and study the flexibility or toughening of measures and restriction on water containment.

A situation that could be promising but which after certain sources linked to the administration and consulted by El Periódico de Sotogrande; may not indeed have a positive effect on the municipality of San Roque, as after some

sampling the samples are not always aligned with the quotas established on the use of water.

With regard to Sotogrande, and also through sources consulted by this media outlet, a significant restriction is taking place on the use of water for irrigation and landscaped spaces. It is true and worth mentioning, that in different areas and part of the resort there is a restraint on the use of regenerated and tertiary water; which does not happen in other key parts of the resort. A matter that should

have been tackled years ago; providing a suitable plan for the supply of regenerated and tertiary water; and not making it necessary to take alternative measures on the go as a consequence of the lack of water.

Measures and restrictions adopted in Campo de Gibraltar

It should be remembered that at present the measures adopted by Arcgisa on 10 January remain in force. They are applied with a moderate reduction of pressure: from 6:00 to 23:00; and a drastic reduction of the supply: from 23:00 to 6:00.

The following practices have also been completely prohibited: irrigation of gardens and green zones, both public and private, cleaning of roads, both public and private, filling of private pools and decorative fountains, showers and public fountains and the washing of vehicles outside of authorised establishments, among others. It is worth highlighting that the use of drinking water for these uses will entail serious legal consequences.

Sin novedades de la pasarela sobre río Guadiaro, desde el pasado verano

• El Consistorio reclamó a la Junta de Andalucía en agosto la autorización para la obra aunque desde el organismo autonómico argumenta que está a la espera de “subsanación de deficiencias”.

Entre permisos, correcciones y subsanaciones el proyecto y otros varios, la cuestión se establece en que plena Semana Santa de 2024, cumplido ya prácticamente un año del nuevo manado del gobierno municipal, continúa sin ejecutarse la obra para al construcción de la pasarela sobre el río Guadiaro que debía enlazar para peatones y ciclistas el recinto feria del Guadiaro y San EnriquedeGuadiaro.Destacar que este proyecto se enmarca en una propuesta electoral del actual Consistorio, pendiente de la legislatura anterior (2019-2023) y que ya se demora en el tiempo, más de lo esperado.

En una recopilación cronológica, ya se cumple más de 8 meses de las últimas novedades sobre el proyecto que enlace las dos barriadas del Valle del Guadiaro, a través del río que le da nombre.

Por su parte, el Ayunta-

miento de San Roque recuerda solicitó dicha autorización el enero pasado, de 2023, a la Junta de Andalucía por lo que el inicio de los trabajos acumula “meses de demora”. El proyecto consiste en una estructura de pasarela de unos 5 metros de ancho que permitirá el tránsito de peatones y ciclistas entre las barriadas de Guadiaro y San Enrique. La obra proyectada por el Ayuntamiento de San Roque tenía un presupuesto inicial de 3 millones de euros (IVA incluido) siendo que a finales del año pasado se presentaron cinco empresas a la licitación y que al final se adjudicó a la UTE Misturas-Construcciones Gallardo Barrera por casi 2,7 millones. Se teme su cancelación puesto que las obras tienen un plazo de ejecución de 18 meses, queriendo iniciarse en septiembre por eso se pide a los responsables de la Consejería de Agricultura y Agua que agilicen la concesión de la autorización.

La actuación lleva aparejada los estudios necesarios, el diseño, proyecto y ejecución de las obras para la conexión con los núcleos urbanos a través de rampas y senderos, donde se incluye la pavimentación, alumbrado público, jardinería y paisajismo del conjunto de la actuación urbana.

Mientras que, también el pasado verano, la Delegación Territorial de Agricultura, Pesca, Agua y Desarrollo Rural de Cádiz, quiso manifestar su contrariedad con el Consistorio y esta reclamación, ya que según explicaba en un comunicado, requirió al Ayuntamiento el pasado abril [se cumple ya un año] “la subsanación de deficiencias del proyecto presentado por el consistorio sanroqueño, estando el expediente paralizado por la inacción de dicho ayuntamiento”. En dicho documento afirma que una vez repasados los datos del proyecto “no reúne los datos y requisitos exigidos por el Reglamento de Dominio Público Hidráulico, por lo que para poder continuar con la tramitación de la misma”. Por lo que a cuenta de la demanda vecinal, entre uno y otro trámite, la pasarela sigue sin tomar forma y siempre queda el riesgo de una cancelación de proyecto.

No news on the walkway over Guadiaro River since last summer

The work planned by the Council of San Roque had an initial budget of 3 million Euros (including VAT), at the end of last year five companies submitted bids for the tender and in the end it was awarded to the temporary joint venture Misturas-Construcciones Gallardo Barrera for almost 2.7 million. Its cancellation is feared given that the works have an implementation period of 18 months, wanting to begin in September, therefore the heads of the Department of Agriculture and Water are requested to speed up the awarding of the authorisation. The action is coupled with the necessary studies, design, project, and implementation of the works for the connection with the urban centres through ramps and paths, including paving, public lighting, gardening and landscaping of the whole of the urban action.

Meanwhile, also last summer, the Territorial Delegation of Agriculture, Fishing, Water, and Rural Development of Cadiz, wanted to outline its opposition to the Council and this claim, as it explained in a statement, requested last April (now a year ago) “the rectification of shortcomings in the project presented by the council of San Roque, with

the file stalled by the inaction of the council.” This document states that having reviewed the data from the project “it does not meet the data and

requirements of the Regulation of the Public Water Domain, therefore it is stopping the continuation of the processing of it.”

Para dicha celebración, el área de Igualdad de la Institución comarcal ha organizado el I Encuentro de Asociaciones de Mujeres del Campo de Gibraltar, germen del que será espacio de diálogo y conocimiento común de las entidades e impulso de las políticas de igualdad en la comarca.

The event began with welcoming remarks by the president of the regional institution and the subsequent reading of the joint manifesto of the Andalusian councils, under the slogan “Tireless. We will not stop” focused on the defense and vindication of women’s rights, putting the focus on the discrimination they suffer for being women and expressing the need to promote the recognition of women and entities that fight to achieve social and labor

equality, the elimination of discrimination based on sex and gender violence, promoting the empowerment and full participation of women in all social spheres.

In this sense, the manifesto highlighted the need to continue advancing with profound changes in society, beyond legislative advances, so that, joining UN Women’s proposal, “investing in women means accelerating progress and achieving fully inclusive societies”.

After the joint reading of the document, Vice-President García León stressed the importance of women’s participation and full and effective deci-

sion-making by women in public life, pointing to both as key aspects of local action.

The event continued with the dissertation “Women and espionage in the Strait” by the writer Maria de Los Angeles Chozas, to end with the delivery of the award 2024 to the Women’s Association “Mills of Fire” of the Station of San Roque, an entity established in 1992 and integrated into the Federation of Women’s Associations “The Awakening” of the Rural Area of Campo de Gibraltar. Perez Custodio and Garcia Leon presented the award to the president of the entity.

En el día a día, el miedo puede ser un compañero omnipresente, un eco constante que resuena en nuestras acciones y decisiones. Sin embargo, la gestión efectiva del miedo no solo implica enfrentarlo, sino también comprenderlo y trabajar con él de manera constructiva.

El miedo, en su esencia, es una respuesta natural ante situaciones desconocidas o amenazantes. Desde tiempos inmemoriales, ha sido un mecanismo de supervivencia arraigado en nuestro ser. Pero, ¿cómo podemos abordarlo de manera que no nos paralice, sino que nos impulse hacia la acción?

La clave radica en la comprensión y aceptación del miedo. Reconocer que es una emoción válida y, a veces, incluso útil, es el primer paso hacia una gestión efectiva. En lugar de intentar suprimirlo o ignorarlo, debemos aprender a trabajar con él.

Fear, in its essence, is a natural response faced with unknown or threatening situations. Since time immemorial, it has been a survival mechanism rooted in our being. However, how can we tackle it in a way that doesn’t paralyse us, but rather which drives us to action?

The key lies in understanding and accepting fear. Acknowledging that it is a valid emotion and, sometimes, even useful, it is the first step towards effective management.

¿Y cómo se trabaja un miedo?. Enfrentándolo desde el punto de vista racional. No hay nada que le guste menos a un miedo que le pongas luz y lo trabajes. Siempre que lo haces te das cuenta de que el león es siempre menos fiero de como lo pintan y, que las probabilidades de que el peor escenario imaginable se materialice, son casi nulas. Nuestro cerebro genera escenarios que en el 99% de los casos no van a darse, pero que nos generan un miedo y stress que puede llegar a paralizarnos.

Comprender y conocer nuestros miedos nos brinda una mayor comprensión de nosotros mismos y nos permite desarrollar estrategias para abordarlos de manera proactiva. Aquí no hay medias tintas, si quieres tener éxito hay que pararse y afrontarlos. Dejarlos pasar no hace más que alimentar al saboteador que todos llevamos dentro. Si no actuamos cada vez serán más grandes

e irracionales y, por consiguiente, más difíciles de erradicar o controlar.

En definitiva, requiere paciencia, autodisciplina y un compromiso constante con el crecimiento personal. Yo a eso le llamo VALOR.

¿Una imagen a la altura del turismo de calidad?

En numerosas ocasiones se presume en diferentes actos, eventos, ferias e incluso en eventos internacionales, de la calidad del destino, turismo de alto nivel y una calidad de servicios muy por encima al resto de competidores en el sector lujo.

Es completamente incomprensible que años después, aún mantenga esa imagen uno de los edificios más visibles del bulevar de Torreguadiaro, epicentro gastronómico del Valle del Guadiaro y parte de la Comarca del Campo de Gibraltar, trasladado una imagen totalmente de rechazo hacia lo que debería ser.

Punto al margen sería todo el tema de adecentamiento, entradas, accesos, rotondas, viales, pasos peatonales o jardineras, todo ello muy mejorable. Pero lo que se puede es evitar sentir rechazo ante esta imagen, en pleno centro turístico de la costa. ¿Para cuando un proyecto realista y acorde con su privilegiada ubicación? ¿Para cuando un embellecimiento en condiciones? Aunque sea una lona. Algo que evite dar una sensación de abandono y desinterés total por la estética e imagen del destino.

La Guardia Civil realiza más de 1.000 pruebas de alcohol y drogas a conductores de la provincia

La Guardia Civil ha realizado en la provincia de Cádiz más de 1.000 pruebas de detección de alcohol y drogas a conductores de vehículos de transporte por carretera. Además de controlar el cumplimiento de la normativa relacionada con el transporte de mercancías y viajeros, con el fin de garantizar la seguridad vial de los usuarios.

En total 1.011 pruebas de alcohol y drogas que han sido ejecutadas por los Guardias

Civiles del Subsector de Tráfico de la Guardia Civil de Cádiz a conductores profesionales de vehículos destinados al transporte de viajeros y mercancías. De ellos, el 13,86 % de estos conductores dieron positivo en drogas y el 0,12 % en alcohol.

De los vehículos que se controlaron se interpusieron 175 denuncias en las que los casos más comunes fueron conducir bajo efectos de drogas o alcohol, carecer de autori-

zación para el transporte de mercancías o viajeros, conducir con exceso de peso o por superar el tiempo de conducción.

Recordar, que el consumo de alcohol y drogas en los conductores puede tener graves consecuencias, no sólo para ellos mismos, sino también para los demás usuarios de la vía, ya que pueden afectar a la capacidad de conducción, la coordinación motora, la percepción y el juicio, lo que

aumenta significativamente el riesgo de accidentes de tráfico.

Mediation: How to transform worry into activity?

Worrying too much, now that is worrying! Often in consultations I find relationship dynamics where one of the parties verbalises an excessive concern with one of the issues that we have defined as essential. Strangely, it is normally the case that the other party isn’t bothered, specifically about that issue. It happens because expressing excessive concern about a specific issue is counterproductive when negotiating. It has the contrary effect to the one sought for the person who is truly seeking to resolve the conflict and doesn’t know how. A mother worried about timetables, a father worried about several dangers and threats, a brother about the future, a husband about custody, a women about health... What do they achieve through worry?

At an emotional level, when there is excess worry, communication is imbued with reproaches, the channels of creativity are blocked and there is anxiety and stress for everyone. At a physiological level, the sympathetic nervous system releases stress hormones such as cortisol which can increase blood sugar and triglyceride levels. In addition to these reactions by the body, there are others that are more serious. When the excess fuel in the blood that we produce due to stress is not used in physical activities, chronic anxiety and the flow of stress hormones can end up having serious physical consequences such as suppressing the immune system, digestive disorders, intense muscle tension, short-term loss of memory, premature coronary illness or myocardial infarction.

Therefore, mental work in the face of a stressful and critical situation is absolutely essential. Mastering our mind and turning worry into activity, which is to say, specific thoughts about actions that we can undertake to resolve the problem. If you don’t know how or where to begin, turn to a conflict mediator. They will help you to tackle the problem from a new and broader perspective. They will work separately and jointly with all the parties involved. This work can be face-to-face or remote and, in all cases, confidentiality and neutrality will characterise the process.

¿Cómo transformar la preocupación en ocupación?

Preocuparse en exceso, ¡eso sí que es preocupante! En consulta, a menudo, me encuentro con dinámicas relacionales en las que una de las partes verbaliza una preocupación excesiva por una de las cuestiones que hemos definido como clave. Curiosamente, suele pasar que la otra parte pasa bastante justo, justo de ese tema. Ocurre porque mostrar una preocupación excesiva sobre un determinado asunto resulta contraproducente al negociar. Provoca el efecto contrario al deseado por quien verdaderamente busca resolver el conflicto y no sabe cómo. Una madre preocupada por los horarios, un padre por peligros y amenazas varios, un hermano por el futuro, un marido por la custodia, una mujer por la salud… ¿qué logran a través de su preocupación?

A nivel emocional, cuando existe exceso de preocupación, la comunicación se tiñe de reproches, se boquean los canales de creatividad y hay ansiedad y estrés para todos. A nivel fisiológico, el sistema nervioso simpático libera hormonas del estrés como el cortisol que pueden aumentar los niveles de azúcar en sangre y de triglicéridos. A estas reacciones del cuerpo, se suman otras más graves. Cuando el combustible excesivo en sangre que generamos por estrés no se usa para actividades físicas, la ansiedad crónica y el flujo de hormonas del estrés pueden llegar a tener graves consecuencias físicas como la supresión del sistema inmune, desordenes digestivos, tensión muscular intensa, pérdida de memoria a corto plazo, enfermedad coronaria prematura o infarto de miocardio.

Por ello, el trabajo mental frente a una situación estresante y critica resulta absolutamente clave. Dominar nuestra mente y transformar la preocupación en ocupación, es decir, en pensamientos concretos sobre acciones que podemos emprender para resolver el problema. Si no sabes cómo

ni por dónde empezar, recurre a un mediador de conflictos. Te ayudará a abordar el problema desde una nueva y más amplia perspectiva. Trabajará de manera independiente y conjunta con todas las partes implicadas. Dicho trabajo podrá ser presencial o remoto y, en todos los casos, la confidencialidad y la neutralidad caracterizarán el proceso.

Quirónsalud: prevención del riesgo cardiovascular

El infarto de miocardio, también conocido como ataque al corazón, es una emergencia médica que afecta cada año a miles de personas. Esta enfermedad cardiovascular, caracterizada por la interrupción del flujo sanguíneo hacia una parte del corazón, puede tener consecuencias devastadoras si no se trata rápidamente. El doctor Manuel Ruiz, coordinador del servicio de Cardiología del Hospital Quirónsalud Campo de Gibraltar, define esta enfermedad y señala sus síntomas más extendidos. “El infarto de miocardio es el resultado de una oclusión en alguna de las arterias coronarias, que son las encargadas de llevar la sangre y el oxígeno al músculo cardiaco. Si una zona del corazón deja de recibir el flujo sanguíneo empieza a morir (necrosis), es decir, se infarta. Esta obstrucción se produce a lo largo del tiempo por el aumento de la

aterosclerosis en la pared de las arterias del corazón, provocando que su diámetro disminuya progresivamente. Los síntomas clásicos de infarto de miocardio incluyen dolor opresivo intenso (a menudo descrito como una losa que aplasta el pecho, en otras ocasiones se siente como un ardor o escozor) en el centro del pecho o en la zona del estómago, que puede irradiarse a brazo izquierdo, ambos brazos, cuello, mandíbula o espalda; acompañado a veces de sudoración, náuseas y dificultad respiratoria que se prolonga durante al menos varios minutos”, señala el doctor Ruiz. El infarto de miocardio cuenta con una serie de factores de riesgo que pueden favorecer que una persona termine padeciéndolo. En palabras del especialista en Cardiología, “los factores de riesgo más conocidos que pueden provocar un infarto de miocardio son el

tabaquismo, la hipertensión arterial, los niveles elevados de colesterol, la diabetes, la edad avanzada, la obesidad, la vida sedentaria o factores genéticos familiares. Pero la principal causa evitable de enfermedad coronaria es el tabaco”. La primera hora tras sufrir un infarto es un periodo crítico para la aparición de arritmias malignas, potencialmente mortales. “De ahí que sea vital, actuar rápido para reducir la mortalidad por infarto, que es la primera causa de muerte

Satisfaction for the awarding of the contract for the works on the Pueblo Nuevo service road

The mayor of San Roque, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, expressed his satisfaction with the awarding of the works that the General Directorate of Roads of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda (MITMA) is going to undertake on the service road of Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro.

Ruiz Boix thanked Óscar Puente, minister for Transport, Mobility, and the Urban Agenda (MITMA), who announced the awarding of 808 thousand Euros for the works on a road “that is already an essential part of the neighbourhood, which eases congestion of the commercial flow of traffic in Sierra Bermeja”.

the pedestrian path that connects Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro with the shopping areas through the instalment of a handrail, lighting, smoothing of embankments, and protection with a gabion wall.

El alcalde, Juan Carlos Ruiz Boix, agradeció a Óscar Puente, ministro de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana (MITMA), que ha anunciado la adjudicación por 808 mil euros de las obras en una vía “que ya es parte fundamental de la barriada, que descongestiona el flujo comercial en Sierra Bermeja”.

Recuerda el alcalde que se trata de un compromiso que el ministro de Transportes, Óscar Puente, trasladó hace un mes en su visita al Campo de Gibraltar, que dará una mayor seguridad a los peatones en una zona comercial muy transitada por los vecinos de la zona.

Para el alcalde, “esta actuación es fundamental para llevar a cabo el proyecto del Ayuntamiento de convertir en este mandato la calle Sierra Bermeja en una alameda, una zona peatonal para el paseo y el disfrute de los vecinos de Pueblo Nuevo y el fomento de la actividad comercial”. El Ministerio ha publicado la adjudicación de las obras “y, por tanto, esperemos que las mismas se realicen cuanto antes y se ejecuten

esas mejoras en la vía de servicio”.

El pleno celebrado en el mes de julio aprobó por unanimidad la de propuesta para aceptar y aprobar el Proyecto denominado “Humanización, Mejora de Área Peatonal y Zonas Verdes en N-340, Travesía Pp.Kk. 131+700 Al 132+680. T.M. San Roque. (33-CA-5120)”, el cual ha sido aprobado a su vez, con fecha 5 de mayo de 2023, por el director General de Carreteras, promovido por la Dirección General de Carreteras del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana (MITMA), y que ahora ha sido adjudicada.

La intervención se sitúa en el entorno urbano de Pueblo Nuevo, en la vía de servicio y su conexión con el centro comercial, e incluye actuaciones de humanización para su posteriorcesiónalAyuntamiento.

Las actuaciones proyectadas contribuyen a promover la movilidad de peatones, con el objetivo de reducir tanto las emisiones a la atmósfera como la contaminación acústica. Las actuaciones necesarias

para garantizar las condiciones de seguridad vial para peatones y tráfico rodado mediante la creación de nuevo paso peatonal y la semaforización de este y de los dos existentes; dotar al margen derecho de la N-340 izquierda de zona de aparcamientos y acerado; y acondicionar el sendero peatonal que conecta Pueblo Nuevo de Guadiaro con las zonas comerciales, mediante colocación de barandilla, alumbrado, suavizado de taludes y protección con muro de gaviones.

Unos trescientos escolares del Primer Ciclo de los colegios Gloria Fuertes, Gabriel Arenas, José Luis Sánchez (Tesorillo) y Los Almendros (Secadero) han participado en la segunda jornada de los Juegos Predeportivos que organiza el centro educativo de Guadiaro con la colaboración de las delegaciones de Deportes y Educación.

Los juegos comenzaron el martes, con la inauguración a cargo del alumnado de Infantil, mientras que el miércoles ha sido el turno de los estudiantes del Primer Ciclo de Primaria, el jueves lo harán los del Segundo Ciclo y finalizarán el viernes con los del Tercer Ciclo.

Una actividad para fomentar el deporte entre los más pequeños mientras se divierten y crean conexión con otros municipios cercanos. El director del CEIP Gloria Fuertes, Francisco Javier Villaverde, indicó que “llevamos 26 años organizando esta actividad y estamos encantados de la convivencia que se crea entre el centro y colegios de la comarca. Y ya estamos viendo que van a divertirse con las actividades que tenemos organizadas”, concluyó.

En los Juegos Predeportivos participan cada año, además del CEIP Gloria Fuertes, los colegios Barbésula (San Enrique), José Luis Sánchez (Tesorillo) y Los Álamos (Secadero), además de que se invita a centros del resto del municipio de San Roque. El alumnado practica distintos juegos pensados tanto para hacer ejercicio como para divertirse, siempre conforme a las edades de sus participantes.

La Hacienda Links inagura temporada de golf con la mejora del recorrido Heathland

Los golfistas podrán disfrutar de una experiencia de cinco estrellas en La Hacienda Links Golf Resort a partir de 2024, ya que el lujoso complejo español de 36 hoyos ha completado una importante mejora de su popular campo Heathland. Recién renovado su campo Links – nombrado “Mejor Campo de Golf de España” en los Premios Mundiales de Golf 2023 – el aclamado resort andaluz ha desvelado una serie de mejoras en su segundo campo de 18 hoyos, mientras continúa la cuenta atrás para la apertura de un nuevo hotel Fairmont.

Además de llevar a cabo trabajos de rediseño para mejorar el diseño original de Dave Thomas, con el hoyo 13 ahora como par cuatro y el 18 convertido en par cinco con un nuevo tee reposicionado, otras mejoras incluyen la nivelación de las calles primera y undécima para mejorar la jugabilidad del campo Heathland e importantes trabajos de paisajismo en los hoyos dos a cinco y el décimo, 17 y 18 con la plantación de lentiscos.

Además, el equipo de greenkeeping de La Hacienda ha instalado paneles solares en el hoyo ocho, ha limpiado y reformado los lagos y puentes de los hoyos ocho y nueve, y ha resembrado varias calles con hierbas más sostenibles y mejor adaptadas al clima de la región.

La mejora del campo de Heathland es la última de una serie de importantes inversiones que La Hacienda Links Golf Resort ha realizado en un proyecto de remodelación que ha llevado al complejo a establecerse como

Situado en el municipio gaditano de San Roque, cerca de Sotogrande, el campo Links del resort discurre por primera línea de playa con espectaculares vistas al Mediterráneo, Gibraltar y África, y ha sido uno de los mayores proyectos de renovación de campos que se han llevado a cabo en Europa en los últimos años.

La Hacienda Links begins golf season with improvement of Heathland course

Golfers can enjoy a five-star experience at La Hacienda Links Golf Resort in 2024, as the luxury Spanish resort with 36 hotels has completed a significant improvement of its popular Heathland course.

Having recently revamped its Links course - named the “Best Golf Course in Spain” at the 2023 World Golf Prizes - the acclaimed Andalusian resort has unveiled a series of improvements at its second 18-hole course, while the countdown continues for the opening of a new Fairmont hotel.

In addition to carrying out redesign work to improve the original design by Dave Thomas, with hole 13 now a par four and 18 turned into a par five with a new repositioned tee, other improvements include flattening the first and eleventh fairways to improve the playability of the Heathland course and important landscaping work on holes two to five and the tenth, 17 and 18 with the planting of mastic trees.

Also, the greenkeeping team at La Hacienda has installed solar panels on the eighth hole, cleaned and revamped the lakes and bridges of holes eight and nine, and resown several fairways with grass that is more sustainable and better adapted to the climate of the region.

Javier Jiménez Casquet, director general of La Hacienda Links Golf Resort, declared: “After having recently revamped the Links course, it was very important for us to make improvements to the Heathland course in order to bring it up to the standard of the other facilities at the resort.

“Some of the changes that we have made were greatly needed, such as moving back the tee on the 18th hole to create a challenging par five that matches the quality of the rest of the course. Using the best sustainable practices, we now have two exceptional courses that perfectly complement one another, and this is the ideal way to begin an exciting year for the resort, as we draw closer to the opening of our new Fairmont hotel.”

The improvement of the Heathland course is the latest of a series of important investments that La Hacienda Links Golf Resort has made in a remodelling project that has led the resort to establish itself as one of the emerging stars of European golf.

Located in the Cadiz municipality of San Roque, close to Sotogrande, the Links course runs along the beach front

with spectacular views over the Mediterranean, Gibraltar, and Africa and it has been one of the biggest course renovation projects that were carried out in Europe in recent years.

As part of the major transformation project to remodel and

redesign the course, the American architect Kurtis Bowman was appointed to improve the layout of the holes, the remodelling, the landscape and results in terms of sustainability. The works carried out include remodelling all the tees, complexes of greens and bunkers,

and redesigning several holes.

Also, La Hacienda has carried out a series of improvements at its golf and leisure facilities, such as the renovation of its club house, the launch of a new website and the opening of a new transitional club

house for players on the Links course, while the resort is preparing to launch a new Fairmont hotel and villas in the near future, which highlights the ambition of the resort to become one of the most exclusive and luxurious golf resorts in Spain.

El Festival Nacional M12 de Rugby se celebrará en San Roque

• El Comité Ejecutivo de la Real Federación Española de Rugby ha decidido adjudicar la organización a la entidad de San Roque Rugby Club del Festival Nacional de la categoría M12 que se disputará en las instalaciones del Santa María Polo Club, de Sotogrande, del 18 al 19 de mayo.

Es la gran noticia del año para el deporte del rugby, y se dio a conocer en la tarde de viernes a través de un comunicado oficial publicado desde la Real Federación Española de Rugby. Sin duda, se trata de un evento de enorme calado para el municipio y para toda la comunidad del rugby de base.

Una competición con un gran poder de convocatoria y una importante repercusión a nivel local y comarcal. Durante dos días va a atraer a San Roque cientos de personas que van a tener la posibilidad de conocer la comarca del Campo de Gibraltar y disfrutar de sus atractivos.

El Festival Nacional M12 es evento oficial organizado por la Real Federación Española de Rugby (FER) que pone fin a la temporada de rugby, el cual aglutina a los más pequeños de todos los clubes que quieran participar en una fiesta final. Para algunos de ellos será su primera gran experiencia de convivencia deportiva. Con una previsión de más de un centenar de equipos de clubes de toda la geografía española y con una previsión de más de mil jugadores que se darán cita en este festival.

Desde San Roque Rugby Club, el Ayuntamiento de San Roque y la Federación Andaluza de Rugby se ha puesto todo el esfuerzo para que la cita se celebre en las instalaciones del Santa María Polo Club, uno de los mejores escenarios de España.

Por otro lado, San Roque Rugby Club no organizará el campeonato de las categorías M6, M8 y M10 debido a un cambio de fechas; se celebrará en Madrid coincidiendo con la Series Rugby Sevens.

Asimismo, la Real Federación Española de Rugby ha anunciado en su página web cuatro campeonatos de máxima relevancia para categorías base:

• Campeonato de España y Torneo Nacional M18: CAU Valencia, el fin de semana del 4 y 5 de mayo (Valencia).

• Campeonato de España y Torneo Nacional M16: CR El Salvador del 25 y 26 de mayo (Valladolid).

• Campeonato de España y Torneo Nacional M14: VRAC el fin de semana del 11 y 12 de mayo (Valladolid).

• Festival Nacional M10-8-6: CRC el fin de semana del 1 al 2 de junio (Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid).
