ummer in the City is your guide to a range of activities for children, young people and their families across central London this summer. Now in its seventh year, Summer in the City keeps getting bigger and better.
There is no doubt London is a great place to be in the summer, with so much to see and do. Every day something new is on offer, and this summer is no exception.
In this guide you’ll find hundreds of free or lowcost things to do including the Paddington Festival, the Summer Reading Challenge, theatre and arts events and sports and leisure activities. Most of the activities are suitable for people with a disability.
Aziz Saiq
Youth MP City of Westminster
All of the activities are open to residents of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster unless otherwise stated. So you will never be short of things to do this summer.
In Westminster we have the City Save card which offers even more discounts to families so visit citysave.westminster.gov.uk for more information. Summer is also a great time to join Westminster’s Youth Council. This is a great chance to have your say on the issues that matter to young people. We meet every week and give feedback to the Leader of the Council. If you’d like to join go to westminster.gov.uk/youth-council.

Finally don’t forget to check out mysummerinthecity.org.uk for even more great ideas and regular updated information on what’s on across central London during Summer in the City.
