Hadleigh Men's Shed

Hadleigh Men’s Shed was launched in October 2022 and is currently preparing its first workshop space which we have for 12 months. The committee is continuing to work on the setup and we now have a constitution, have filled the roles of chair, secretary and treasurer and a bank account has been opened. It is also now a member of UK Men’s Sheds Association.

We ar continuing to look for a permanent home for the shed and explore the options. New members are continuing to join. Some tools and furniture have kindly been donated. Although the setup is still in progress, in January we had our initial session (on chisel sharpening) which was very informative and well attended.

Work and training sessions are currently being held regularly on Wednesday evenings 7pm to 9pm. Activities will expand over time. Hadleigh Men’s Shed is a relaxed place supporting the local community by providing somewhere to • meet up and make new friends • learn new skills • share expertise • work on or get help on your own projects • work on community based projects • enjoy companionship over a cup of tea
