mmary For this Spotlight concert we are celebrating the wonderful young jazz musicians of the school. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of music from within the jazz genre, from Miles Davis to Weather Report, the great American songbook to traditional Brazilian songs. It is astounding that all of these performers are only in Years 7 to 10, it takes a great deal of skill and courage to improvise in public, and to trust the musicians around you. The future of jazz at Habs is certainly very bright indeed, I hope you enjoy the music this evening and will join me in giving your full support to these incredible young musicians.
