One source for the best information WHAT is the JIC? The Joint Information Center (JIC) puts together and gives to the public all official information residents need about a disaster. In this case, the JIC will provide information to educate residents about changing weather situation related to Tropical Storm 09W.

WHEN did the JIC get together? The JIC was called together on Friday, July 12, to help the public get the most current information about Guam’s weather situation.

How do I learn more? Who will answer my questions or tell me more information?  Anyone can contact the JIC for more information or specific information about how they can better prepare.  The JIC is available via phone, email or through social media.  Members of the JIC can answer questions about how to be prepared, how to respond in any type of situation, potential impacts and concerns to public health and how to talk to other community members about the situation.  The JIC will be releasing fact sheets about specific topics during the upcoming weeks to help the community better prepare.
