ver since Pantone uncorked marsala as its Color of the Year for 2015, there has been more reason than ever to lift a glass of fine wine in celebration of the season’s most on-trend timepieces. Style mavens are drinking up this heady hue, as well as the richer shades of bordeaux, burgundy, and port. Whether gracing a strap or a dial, vino is en vogue and in demand with both watch and wine aficionados. n

Making a Case Louis Vuitton has been the world’s foremost trunk maker since Monsieur Vuitton founded the house in 1854. Over the past 160 years, the brand has grown to epitomize luxurious French design in fashion and leather goods while staying true to its roots in trunks. Classic lines meet bold modern design in the Epi Petite Malle bag, a prime example of Vuitton’s ability to successfully blend its heritage with haute style. The bag is adorned with the three crosses signature of millionaire French banker Albert Kahn, who went on to become a noted photographer and world traveler in the early 20th century.
