A Sponsor You Can Run With

Founded in 1948 by the Taggart Family, Tamarack Homes is both a local success story and major supporter of local sport. A triathlete himself, don't be surprised if Tamarack's president, Chris Taggart, lines up beside you on race day. 6

The Experimental Farm

If the weather is right, get ready for 300,000 tulips in bloom. Tell your friends this is one of the best early spots on the course to cheer you on.

A surefire destination for a knockout Italian sandwich, you’ll also find hundreds of beers at Pub Italia and chicken confit poutine at Two Six {Ate}. The Prescott’s meatball sandwich is an Ottawa classic.

Home to the Canada Agriculture Museum, one of Ottawa’s many family friendly museums, this working research farm in the heart of the city is also a relaxed spot for a pre-marathon shake out run.

Every year, runners praise the clockwork organization of the Ottawa Marathon. On-course details include water and Gatorade every 3K, gels at 18K and 30K, and sponges just when you need a cool down.

From indie plays at the GCTC in Hintonburg to ballets at the National Arts Centre near the marathon start, there’s plenty in Ottawa for theatre buffs to get excited about.
