“Street Art”
is visual art, either sanctioned or guerrilla, developed in public spaces. Catching fire over the better part of the last couple decades, this breed of artistry creates artworks in traditionally non-art contexts. ‘Street’ artists do not aspire to change the definition of pre-existing environments, but rather to question the existing environment within its own language.
