knockout night tips
tip #1 USE A TRIPOD!! Unless you’re trying to get a really trippy effect where everything is blurred and in motion! A tripod will hold your camera steady for those long shutter speed captures! My Manfrotto is my best friend!!
tip #2 USE A REMOTE!! Those two seconds that you spend clicking the shutter on your camera with your finger can really shake things up!!! If you use a remote, even if you’re not going to be included in the photo, then you remove any chance of physically moving the camera!
tip #3 USE A HIGHER ISO!! Keep in mind that when you raise your ISO it opens the light up a bit more so you don’t have to use such a low shutter speed, but you should also know that when you raise your ISO you are also increading the risk for noise in your photographs so do a bit of testing to see which higher ISO looks and works best!
