All models of Ultimatte 12 include built-in frame stores so you can key using stills for backgrounds,

The improved flare algorithms in Ultimatte 12 can remove green tinting and spill from anything, for true, realistic-looking virtual environments. That also means customers don’t have to worry about shadows or transparent objects with reflections.

The Ultimatte 12 HD Mini model has a special feature that allows conversion of SDI camera control to HDMI. This means an ATEM SDI switcher can control a HDMI-connected Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera. Now add a camera number in the Ultimatte utility to get control of the camera color corrector, tally and even remote record trigger.

BZBGEAR BG-ADAMO-4K

The BG-MAESTRO is a compact ePTZ auto-tracking camera delivering extremely accurate tracking. Easy to configure, it requires no additional software for setting the autotracking parameters. Setup is accomplished quickly with the web browser interface. Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology further simplifies installation, requiring only one cable for the camera to function.

The Maestro simultaneously outputs USB 3.0, 3G-SDI / HDMI, and IP streaming in 1080p. Utilizing a 1/2.8-inch 4K CMOS sensor, it uses 3x digital zoom and ePTZ controls to automatically track subjects between 15 feet and 50 feet from the camera. The Maestro has low noise and high SNR as well. With five simultaneous output streams, it allows multiple angles to be broadcast at once. Canon Canon DP-V2730 Professional Display

Agreat option for both filmmakers and broadcasters, the Canon DP-V2730 is an advanced professional 4K HDR monitor featuring a 4K UHD display engine and 1,000 cd/m² full-screen peak brightness, with Canon’s local dimming technology giving an ultra-low black level of 0.001 cd/m². The display has a 27-inch screen that achieves high brightness with minimal noise, which is ideal for both on-set and post-production environments, and meets Dolby Vision certification standards and EBU TECH3320 user requirements.

The camera is ideal for a wide variety of content producers, including YouTubers, wedding, indie and documentary filmmakers, multimedia journalists and much more.

The EOS R5 C camera can record nonstop, uninterrupted 8K/60P thanks to an active cooling system. 8K video delivers outstanding definition and realism with four times the resolution of 4K video, enabling unprecedented capabilities in video expression and highly flexible workflows, such as 4K cropping from 8K footage.

Canon’s new CINE-SERVO 15-120mm T2.95-3.95 EF/PL lens is the latest addition to Canon’s suite of industry-leading broadcast products. The lens supports Super 35mm and full-frame sensor cameras, making it ideal for a range of cinema and broadcast productions. With its versatile focal range from a wide 15mm, up to an impressive telephoto range of 120mm, the lens can further extend up to 180mm via the built-in 1.5x extender. To support future productions, 8K optical performance can be maintained across the full focal length, providing consistently high image quality across the entire frame.

It features Canon’s renowned warm color science, matching the existing range of Canon’s cinema lenses — and an 11-blade aperture, producing a beautiful, round bokeh. Offering outstanding optical performance — and breathtaking image quality

for HDR, 4K, and 8K productions — the lens supports EF mount communication and advanced metadata capture with support for Cooke /iTechnology™. Canon’s CN-E20-50MM and CN-E45-135MM T2.4 Flex Zoom CN-E Full-Frame Cinema EOS lenses were developed to create cinema-style productions with greater workflow efficiency.

Designed in the pursuit of cinematic beauty, the new large-aperture lenses feature both high-level optical design and performance while maintaining the style and ease-of-use of Canon’s EF Cinema lens series. With the introduction of the zoom lenses featuring focal length ranges of 20-50mm for wide angle and 45135mm for telephoto, Canon now offers zoom lenses that cover the same range as its six existing prime (single focal length) lenses. Engineered with an optical configuration that creates the optimal placement of lens elements, including a large-aperture aspherical lens and an anomalous dispersion glass lens, the lenses help reduce the potential for color smudging and chromatic aberrations. Cinedeck CD2

Cinedeck launched CD2 in February 2022 in response to the industry’s need for greater flexibility over managing elements of broadcast production remotely, specifically ingest. CD2 shares the same features as the full range of Cinedeck Ingest Servers but as a pure software solution, it enables ingest to be managed remotely. CD2 offers a fully customizable RESTful API making integration with other parts of the production and post-production workflow simple.

Cinedeck CD2 makes it quick and easy to ingest raw footage ready for editing and distribution. Users can ingest using CD2 and distribute live, with Edit While Record and Playout While Record features. Ingested content can be scheduled using the Cinedeck multichannel control app. It also enables multicamera ingest and supports a wide range of input formats, including

CD2 provides text metadata elements that can be exported to MAMs in JSON format for downstream workflow extension through asset management. It also provides control of character out as an overlay on the user interface and the SDI video output and/or as a burn-in to the encoded video with fully adjustable position, size and color.

Across the industry, enterprises are dealing with how to enable video replacement in real time, without adding significant latency or affecting the quality of stream for the video broadcast industry. ACD enables video replacement, specifically advertisement insertion, allowing broadcasters to tap into the vast revenue driving potential of addressable advertising and making their channels compatible with FAST platforms to further expand potential reach.

Addressable advertising is achieved without difficulty in VOD streaming, but linear IP streams present all of the challenges outlined above, and for that reason, there has not been a solution that could make addressable advertising at scale a reality.

“The standard approach to resolve this problem is to use meta

data (like SCTE 35/104 markers) to determine intervals and video information,” explains Sasha Zivanovic, CEO, Nextologies. “These markers are inserted into the video stream on the production level, and then ads can be replaced within the marked intervals In the IP-based video stream, those markers don’t exist, so we developed a method to analyze the stream and find these intervals ourselves.”

The Live Events Manager makes it easy to define event stages, such as pre- and post-event schedules, which in turn drive

automated program switching into and out of the event feeds. These features automate publishing a slated version of the live event prior to the event to ensure end-to-end delivery, validate infrastructure and begin warming caches, and to close the event while continuing to engage the audience with post-event calls-toaction or related content.

New ZEN Master views to organize in-window live events helps simplify management of dozens of concurrent live event channels and enables operator intervention as needed to switch event windowing, for example to extend a live event program.

The Live Events Manager combines Zixi’s congestion-aware bonded routing, sequenced hitless failover and programmatic controls to enable the scale and resilience needed by the most demanding live distributors.
