Chamber's 4th of July Parade Rocks!

CHAMBER'S 4TH OF JULY PARADE ROCKS!

My wife Jane and I attended our first 4th of July Parade in Flagstaff. We had nearly front row seats on the corner of N. Beaver St and W. Aspen Ave. First, I was amazed to see well over 100 floats entered in the parade. The Greater Flagstaff Chamber did a tremendous job with organization. Being an engineer, I marveled at the comprehensive and detailed attention to safety. This was especially critical with the exceptionally large vehicles. Every large float or vehicle had spotters, in reflective vests keeping the kids away from the equipment and expertly navigating the turns throughout the parade route. This was truly impressive. The Chamber makes it very easy to take part in this event. Their instructions are clear, and the staging process is streamlined. We did run out of items to pass out along the route much earlier than anticipated, but our team LOVED taking part in this event. Our favorite part was seeing the community turnout and response! It’s always wonderful to see people in our beautiful stretch of northern Arizona coming together. We loved the shout-outs from the crowd. Their greetings for our tooth fairies were delightful!
