The property is approached via a double electric gated sweeping driveway which has a range of attractive, well established borders and a shaped lawn to the side. A canopy entrance porch gives access in to the welcoming reception hall which has a guest wc/cloakroom. A superb through lounge benefits from dual aspect to the front and rear with a feature brick built fireplace, being a particular focal point of the room, with a quarry tiled hearth and wooden mantel. Double doors lead in to the dining room, having a box bow window to the rear. A study is located off the reception hall, which offers a very useful work space.

At the heart of this amazing home is the stunning open plan fitted breakfast kitchen and conservatory. The kitchen has granite work surfaces, an island with sink/drainer and integrated dishwasher, an American style fridge/freezer, separate integrated oven and hob and a superb Aga range. The conservatory area has a pitched roof and french doors leading out to the rear gardens. Off the kitchen is an inner lobby giving access to the side and doors to the utility room and a good-sized garage, which has been converted to a hobby/games room by the current owners, having a large built-in storage unit. In our opinion, it would be easy and low cost for the new buyer to convert this back to a fully functioning garage.

The house has been a busy family home and the generous kitchen that flows into the conservatory is the very heart of daily life. The family gather there for cooking, enjoying chatty meals, homework round the table, or relaxing in the comfy sofas watching TV. This is an ultra comfortable and relaxed space. The property is at its best when full of people and the choice of rooms allows the house to be the ideal place to offer hospitality to family and friends. Everyone is able to have their own space and guests can be entertained in the dining room or the more formal lounge, whilst the younger family members can settle in the snug.

Seller Insight Cider Mill House enjoys a quiet setting along a small lane in popular Bradley Green. The villages of Bradley Green and Stock Green offer a pleasing rural lifestyle, yet are only a ten minute drive into Droitwich Spa; a town with a good choice of shops, restaurants and an active arts calendar This excellent location attracted the present owners, Alan and Linda, and they were thrilled when they found Cider Mill House which ticked all their boxes. It is an impressive large and modern family home, surrounded by generous grounds and beautiful countryside. The community minded village has a good selection of clubs and societies centred on the village hall. Stratfordupon-Avon, Birmingham and Worcester are all an easy drive away, whilst the nearby M5 is perfect for the commuter. Bradley Green offers the perfect balance between town and country living. The house has an attractive and welcoming exterior which suggests it is going to have an equally appealing interior. As you enter the spacious hallway, you sense the luxury and comfort of Cider Mill House. The cinema room, housed within a garage conversion, is a much appreciated addition to the home. The five bedrooms allow for overnight visitors and the large master bedroom suite is an inviting adult retreat. The large private garden to the rear of the house is primarily laid to swathes of lawn and dotted with mature fruit trees. It is an idyllic sanctuary where the family have enjoyed sitting on the sun filled terrace for summer al fresco meals. A particular favourite place is to relax with an evening wine on the patio by the fish pond; it catches the last of the sun and is where you feel the stress of the day ebb away. Beyond the garden the stunning countryside stretches into the distance. Alan and Linda are sad the time has come to downsize, but they take away many happy memories from a home and an area that has given them such a complete and satisfying lifestyle. These comments are the personal views of the current owner and are included as an insight into life at the property. They have not been independently verified, should not be relied on without verification and do not necessarily reflect the views of the agent.

Outside, the stunning gardens are a real joy to behold. To the side of the house is a block paved area with a wooden gate giving access to the front. A large paved patio is a great space to sit and enjoy al fresco dining in the wonderful surrounds with extensive shaped lawns beyond, timber decked areas to the sides with a large feature fish pond and having a range of attractive, well established borders. Beyond this is a further very extensive, wide lawned area having mature trees, including apple, a vegetable plot, two garden sheds and two greenhouses. This delightful garden complements the house beautifully and is a space where both adults and children will love to spend time.

FECKENHAM The picturesque village of Feckenham located just south of Birmingham, is the sort of traditional English countryside hamlet that you’ll find in a picture book. In the village itself, there’s a village green, two busy family-run pubs and two active parish churches. The village has its own first school, and the local secondary is a short distance away in the village of Astwood Bank. The recently refurbished Village Hall hosts a wide variety of social and community events and is in constant use. The local community is very active and has a lively calendar of events, including cricket matches most weekends in the summer and football during the winter months. The surrounding countryside is an idyllic place to ramble and recharge the batteries. There is even a nature reserve at nearby Wylde Moor, where you can see a glorious selection of wild flowers, insects and birds. Redditch town centre is only about six miles away, providing a wide selection of indoor and outdoor leisure activities including, theatres, pubs, restaurants and an excellent selection of local shopping. Historic landmarks include the spectacular Worcester Cathedral, dating back to the 10th Century and the Queen Anne style Guildhall designed by Thomas White, a pupil of Sir Christopher Wren in 1722. The latest landmark is Worcestershire’s new central library, ‘ The Hive ‘, a striking gold roofed building on the site of the former cattle market.
