Jason Martin channels a minimal approach to painting through an expansive yet controlled use of colour, brush and medium. ACT: Five Children and It

Awesome Catapult Building Workshop

Trebuchets (or catapults) make any day of the week so much better! A Trebuchet was a device used in wars and sieges in the Middle Ages. It could be used to throw stones at ramparts to break them down. La Cotte de St. Brelade & Neanderthal Landscapes

The Dunes People - Film Showing

The Dunes People is an award-winning film which is part of the Société Jersiaise Archaeology Festival. Pick Up The Pieces ; Pottery Workshop

As part of the Société Jersiaise Archaeology Festival, this workshop is intended for children aged 10-12 who can put themselves in the shoes of Iron Age potters. Archaeologist Hervé Duval specialises in the study of ancient pottery and can make the sherds speak. This is a practical session where children can rebuild the pottery from pieces.

Paul Stebbings’ open air production has been seen around the globe as part of ADG Europe’s Jubilee Tour. Facing Climate Change by Recording Archaeology

The rise of the sea level and coastal erosion are slowly but unavoidably destroying a part of our cultural heritage. Paul John Kilshaw: ‘Entr’-acte Variations’

This year Paul is turning 75, he has painted and drawn for 62 years. At age 13 he attended a Museum based school in Chester followed by Manchester College of Art to gain his degree in 1968. It was here that he found his love for abstract expressionism. They record Paul’s inner thoughts about the spread of the virus and the isolation of lockdown.

Genuine Jersey Artisans Market

This regular artisans’ market takes place in the pretty harbour village of St. Aubin, where you will find an array of local wares on display. All goods sold by Genuine Jersey Members will have been crafted, brewed, baked or processed by the stall holder, so come along and soak up the atmosphere while celebrating Jersey’s finest. 09:00-15:00 Free

Full Circle Festival

The carbon-conscious festival will be working with the likes of ‘A Greener Festival’ and ‘Rewild Durrell’ to fulfil their goal of becoming carbon neutral by 2025. Samarès Manor Country Fair

Featuring the traditional harvest practice of threshing, performances by the Morris Men and the Jersey Ukulele Band, plus Samarès apples for sale. Lots of local art and craft stalls will be present, along with food vendors in addition to our very popular café, Cocorico.
