NATALIE WEIR’S R&J

Spend the night with the definitive seductress of stage as she weaves her deliciously wicked wiles through EDC’s Carmen Sweet, a heady journey of seduction, jealousy, lust and revenge. Following a sell-out season at the Cremorne Theatre in 2013, Carmen Sweet returns to EDC for two performances only.

Winner of Outstanding Achievement in Choreography and Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer (Elise May) at the 2012 Australian Dance Awards, Natalie Weir’s R&J presents three versions of events inspired by the starcrossed lovers at the heart of Shakespeare’s greatest love story. After an extensive national tour in 2013, R&J goes back to its purest beginnings.
