From The Editor Greetings!...

In an ever changing world we must continue to purse and maintain a measure of foundational stability in our lives. With the validity of almost everything we’ve previously deemed sound now being questioned and challenged, it is imperative that we hold-fast to soundness of mind and spirit. We can always be assured of the fact that some things will never chance no matter what; like God’s love and care for us and His word concerning us. As believers our faith becomes the sustaining force that drives and keeps us sane during times of darkness and chaos. Oftentimes, we inadvertently become those modern day unintentional “heroes of the faith.” Unintentional though it may be, it is very real to those who look to us for hope in these dark times. As things continue to change and shift, we must forever remain grounded and secure in the faith that has been given us, even during seasons of trouble and uncertainty. My sincere desire is that Faith Works Magazine will continue to encourage, uplift, and inspire you in some small way to know that there is yet hope in this lost world! Our staff is completely committed to providing you (our readers) with the very best quality content possible, and we pray that we too can be named among those “unintentional heroes of the faith”. In this issue, we have included some new and noteworthy sections that I believe will entertain as well as provoke you. As you peruse the pages, I encourage you to take time to embrace the sentiments of the articles, enjoy the humor and poetry, become motivated by the tips and ideas and be inspired by calls to action. There may never be a “getting back to normal” as we once knew it on this journey, however, we hope that you will continue to allow us to share a bit of light and happiness in your world and hopefully brighten your day! I hope you enjoy this edition and please do share it with family, loved ones and friends! We love and appreciate you all and always remember…Faith Works! MINI MOGUL IN THE MAKING

“Catching Up With Chloe” By: The Prophet

C

hloe’ Montana Langford made her entrance into this world on May 21, 2016 at approximately nine o’clock pm. Now, at four years old she is a three feet tall bundle of non-stop energy and enthusiasm.

According to her mom…she started talking before she turned one and has not stopped yet! Catching up with Chloe was no small feat however, the rewards were well worth it.

Super intelligent, bright, witty, spunky, and sassy are just a few of the adjectives I would use to describe this bundle of energetic cuteness. She is warm and endearing and a true entertainer at heart. While interviewing 3

Miss Chloe, the laughter and amusement were constant. As she entertained me with song and dance and instructions as to what questions I should ask her, I was amazed by self-awareness. Chloe’s aspirations include becoming a doctor, dancer, singer, model, and gymnast. She does not know the meaning of limitations or restrictions. A bundle of energy, beauty, and talent, she articulates her thoughts and opinions with great clarity. She is extremely opinionated when questioned about her likes and dislikes…this young lady knows what she wants. She convinced me that she will have what she says she will have. On Family: Chloe loves her family and she assured me that when it comes to a favorite, she has her picks. When asked who her favorite family member was, she replied without a moment’s hesitation and the biggest smile imaginable “daddy is my favorite”. She made it quite clear that “Mommy, Mommom and Poppi are my favorites too”.

On Hobbies: She halted in deep thought for a brief moment before responding with “for fun I like to ride carnival rides and I like cooking and making real stuff like cookies and cake and sweets that’s good stuff. On Fun things to do: Chloe loves the outdoors as much as any little kid and a rainy day is sheer joy for her. She said “I love it when I get to wear my rain boots and raincoat and splash in the rain puddles with my umbrella. On Favorite things to watch on tv: “I like watching people I really don’t know like the people doing tic tocks, people singing, Disney Plus and kids movies”. “I like watching Disney Princess movies too and Lion King”. On Favorite food: Chick-fil-A, waffles, French toast and fries… she also loves “wake up wraps and pink sprinkle donuts from Dunkin Donuts when mommy allows”. On Travel: “If I could go on a trip I would go to Disney and California because I really want to meet Calli of Calli’s Playhouse on YouTube. Her favorite Disney princess is Rapunzel. She said that “she would rather wear a shirt and pants over a dress, but she would like to be able to dress up like moms and be fancy too”. On most liked toys: “I like to paint and draw, and I like dolls that turn

different colors”. With the cutest little impish smile ever she whispered “You know what I’d like to do that my parents won’t let me do? Wear makeup and play grown up and be the mom.” “When I grow up … just want to be me and work very much like a mom does”. Chloe shared her thoughts on being President of the United States “I would tell everyone to start working, and give them some money and a vacuum cleaner to clean their house. I must say this proved to be a lively and rather spirited interview to say the least. Her last thoughts to other kids: “they can do anything that they think about and they can just ask their parents to help them and they can do it”. Chloe has her own Blog that chronicles her adventures and life. Be sure to check out this “on the rise” superstar at “Catching up with Chloe Blog.Wordpress.com”.

FAITH WORKS

FROM TRIALS TO TRIUMPH THE MAKING OF FIERCE

6

I

Prophetess Deborah Allen is a Pastor, Prophet & Entrepreneur.

wrote my first book “Fierce” within 90 days. Fierce was written doing the greatest battle of my life. It was birth by fire through my very existence. This book came forth doing a time of great tribulation and testing of my faith. Fierce was penned doing the time right after my husband was diagnosed with stage IV chronic lymphatic cancer. At that time, we had been married for 19 years and had 6 children. In December 2016 my husband, Bishop Glen Allen Sr., was hospitalized with back pain and had an abnormal x-ray and possible infection. We learned the cancer had been growing inside his body for about 7 years undetected. The book was written while dealing with the restructuring of our ministry, our children, work and many other things. I felt compelled to come forth and be the strength and guidance my family so desperately needed. This truly was a trying yet miraculous time for us. My goal was to free up finances while building influence and resources to assist in lifting the burden from my husband’s shoulders during this time. It was a defining moment for me when I realized I had to fight to sustain my family. As a wife, mother, and woman of God I had to stand, be strong and lead my family and the ministry forward. I wrote “Fierce” to encourage and strengthen people to hold on and be strong. I wanted people to know that no matter what you’re going through, you can come through it victorious. This book is a testimony to the victory that God brings to our lives. I believe it is important for others to see us go through great hardships and remain strong as we

push through the things designed to break us. I was anointed by God with the gift of healing as a youth. He instructed me to lay hands on my husband and pray for him and through the process of time God touched my husband’s body. He has covered him and prayer has kept him! He has not had to do chemo or radiation as God’s hand has stopped the advancement of the cancer and given us favor. This is the season for God’s people to walk fiercely in him. There is now a new medication that would extract the leukemia from his bones. This medication is extremely expensive at over $100,000 a year. Through favor, my husband was selected to be a part of a special program at Siteman Cancer Center that covers this new medication. God has allowed me to come from behind the scene and step forward to be the woman of strength, purpose and power He destined me to be. This is a divine season of manifestation and vision. The Lord has revised the vision and breathed new life into the ministry! I am a woman that has survived, and I am stronger because of it. God has blessed me to be a warrior and soldier for him. I have been through molestation, an abusive first marriage, teenage mother and countless trials and tests, yet God has birthed His purpose in my life for His Divine Glory! As a leader, I want people to know that you can still live, grow, and build in spite of your life circumstances! Jesus is able to heal, deliver, and carry us during every season of our lives and we are FIERCE in him.

About the author: Prophetess Deborah Allen is a fierce, dynamic, and powerful woman of faith and Godly wisdom. She is an exceptional speaker, teacher, and preacher. She is a woman of prayer, power, purpose, praise, and vision. She has a great call on her life and is anointed of God to carry it out. She currently serves as Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Apostolic Ministries of God Church for the last twenty years. Prophetess Allen also holds the office of Executive Director of the nonprofit organization, L.A.M. Ministries Inc. She has been faithfully married to Bishop Glen Allen Sr. for over twenty-two years. She is the mother of six children and an entrepreneur at heart. She has successfully owned, operated, and was the Director of Little Lights Childcare and Learning Center for ten years. Being propelled and shifted into a different area of the vision, Prophetess Allen was led to close the childcare center a few years ago as she stepped into a revised and renewed vision. The next stage of her vision had been unveiled and we presented her book “Fierce” which was released summer of 2018. Fierce has become a movement in itself and has birthed Fierce TV Show and Fierce Radio Network. Prophetess Allen has also launched Deborah Allen Ministries in January 2019, LAM Ministries International and Ladies Advocating Ministries International. Her newest addition to the vision is Visionary Consulting Group LLC launched in March 2019. We are truly excited for the doors of opportunity that the Lord has provided. 7

IF FAITH WORKS

By: Dr. Marci Bryant

I Feel - sad, unworthy, useless, overwhelmed, neglected, disappointed, angry etc, feelings are not to control us….”We walk by faith, not by sight” I Fear - the unknown, what I cannot control, being over religious, the unrighteous, living alone, abandonment, living in fear is torment, it is a lack of faith… ”Without faith it is impossible to please God”.

I Fight - against anything that requires me to move away from my sense of security even if my sense of security causes me pain, conflict or emotional stress, I fight against changing my mindset even though it does not bring me the happiness or peace that the bible says I should have. I fight to stay deficient refusing to see the ignorance of my ways, etc…”Do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal”. I Form - my own opinions about whatever and refuse to change even when a more excellent way is being 10

shown to me from God’s holy word, I count my view as the authority and not God’s. I am good at defending my right to form my own opinions by stating that God knows my heart, He and I are together on this, He will forgive me if I am wrong, He knows I am a sinner, He won’t condemn me, etc…“Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God”. I Find - myself doing and saying things that I know are not pleasing to God but I do it anyway, then I feel helpless to do anything about it, at times I try but am unable to restore that original state, so I just want to give up…”Ask and it shall be given; Seek and you shall find; Knock and the door shall be opened unto you”. I Fret - over the small stuff, I don’t know why, I just do…”Cast all your cares upon Him for he cares for you”. I Fool - myself, I deceive myself. Why? I lie to myself, in His word I am told that I am perfect in Him, I am told that I can do all things in Him who strengthens me, I am told that I am of a royal priesthood, yet

I continually confess, the opposite, believing the lie that the enemy of my soul tells me. I am foolish in believing and acting on those lies. I think more highly of what the world dishes out about me than I do about God’s statements of who I really am, thus I walk according to the world…”Be not conformed to this world; without me you can do nothing” I Frown - upon my distasteful circumstances, I discuss them at length but am unwilling to follow God’s plan for straightening them out. Is it because I don’t believe God? Is it because I choose to remain dissatisfied because I don’t want to put in the work required to get to a better place in life? Will I continue to lie to myself about my real character?...”Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly of heart, I will give you rest”. I Function - in spite of myself, because I just need to get by. I do the minimum, I put forth little effort, I don’t want to hurt, or feel disappointed, I just want things to be good with little help from myself…“I will let you have what you say”. I Force - myself to accept and believe what is not best for me. I settle for less than God’s best even to my own detriment…”Let go, and let God have his way. Blessed is that man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners or sitteth in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and he does meditate in it night and day”. If - we put out trust in the Lord and refuse to lean on our own understanding…He will direct our path and lead us into to all righteousness and Godliness. His way is always better than ours and His desire for us to do us good and supply all of our needs…”Faith without works is dead”.

FAITH WORKS

KOFFEE KORNER T By: Harry Smith

his book was born out of my reconciliation journey in Ireland. In the words of the Apostle Paul, I have along with many others in Ireland, known that our historic conflict here "is not against flesh and blood" but rather a spiritual one, "against principalities and powers". The United States, like Ireland, has experienced the adverse effects of British colonialism during the 161700's, the fruit of which continues to be manifest among the Irish, Native and Black Americans to this day! This is my journey into God's heart as I have sought to gain understanding and seek His healing of this corrupt root in our nations today. I grew up in a very divided Northern Ireland. In the early 1970s, along with thousands of others from across the religious divides here, I encountered a deep healing and liberating work of the Holy Spirit. That eventually led me along with my wife Dorothy and our three children, to join a residential community of intercessory prayer and reconciliation - situated on 12

the border of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We lived there for 18 years – for the last ten of them I was its Director. During that time, I was led by God to enter an in-depth study regarding the roots of the Irish/ English and Catholic/ Protestant conflict here. One of the significant, though surprising outcomes of that time for me, was that I found myself embracing the extension of the historic conflict here in Ireland into north America. Over the last 12 years, I have visited the United

States on numerous occasions, seeking to understand the role my ancestors played in laying the political, legal and theological

foundations of what became the United States. Especially regarding the devastatingly adverse effects of this on Native and Black Americans. The story of that journey is found in my two books: "Heal Not Lightly" (regarding Ireland) and "A Destiny Denied‌ A Dignity Restored" (regarding the UK, Ireland and the US) I sincerely pray that true reconciliation takes places in these great nations and that God will bring healing and restoration upon the soil of much blood-shed and pain.

PEACE IN THE MIDST OF THE PANDEMIC By: Vashita Pierce

020 is teaching us all a well over-due lesson, never put your trust in man, time or money. When I thought the death toll had reached its greatest height; when the supply of hospital beds was dwindling, as the novel corona virus was scything through everyday life, canceling birthday parties, weddings, funerals, graduation, senior proms—I found an unusually overwhelming sense of peace in the midst of this pandemic.

2

I had never seen anything like it; a common cold with a vicious strand had taken over the world as we knew it, changing the very fabric of our lives. During the pandemic, a few ugly words gained tremendous power. “Lockdown” and “social distance” are two of those word. An inconveniently enforced set of new standards put me in a “between a rock-and-hard place” situation. Do I wear a mask to protect my family from outside germs? Or trust God at a time when everyone from businesses and churches to the Centers for Disease Control was telling people to stay home, shelter in place? As the days turned to weeks and the weeks turned to months and the list of symptoms grew and changed, the COVID-19 news grew more and more dire. Each time the news aired the number of positive cases increased. For the first time in a long time 14

I was at a loss as to what was happening and what was going to happen. But it has all turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I began to put every ounce of hope and trust that I could muster in the Lord, and trust that He was ordering my footsteps, and most of all, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that He was in control. This increased my peace. I didn’t miss a beat. I still went to work when the rest of the world hunkered down in fear. I received bonuses from my job, I saw my health take a turn for the better, I took mini vacations with my family, and I continued my work in the expanding of the Kingdom. The Lord allowed me to lie down in peace and wake in the morning calm, the weirdness of the “new normal” was apparent but not effective. I have never felt more like an alien in this world than I do today. I may live in this “Alice in wonderland rabbit hole” world, but I am not of it and I do not conform to it. I wear my mask in public places and follow the path of arrows placed on floors of grocery stores and I make certain to socially distance myself in my work- place. I fellowship with the saints, eat out at restaurants, and give hugs to the people I love. This will never change no matter how much sanitizer I do or do not use. I pray for those who are suffering and who have experienced loss during

these trying times, but I will not live in fear or bondage. I am not generally a smiley person. But when I think about how the Lord has kept me and my family in a realm of peace, favor, blessings, and perfect health; I cannot help but flaunt a cheesy grin so big my eyes squint. Happiness, to me, often goes hand in hand with action: intense engagement in a creative process, or in buying something, or spending time with my family. I am not into working out or yoga or meditation however, I can recall a few moments in my life that were defined by a serene stillness and by an overarching feeling of wellbeing. Lying on the beach and standing on the deck of a cruise ship looking out at the endless bed of ocean and sky. There were no mosquitoes. There was no traffic. There were three colors: tan sand, a blue sky, and an orange sunset. I felt suspended there in time and safe space, where nothing could go wrong. These are the times I feel closest to God…and I am definitely smiling. I was grateful to find such an amazing feeling in that place and time. Grateful for peace that surpasses all of my understanding. I carry that peace with me today in the midst of the storm swirling around me, peace in the midst of an unpredictable pandemic called COVID-19.

TIPS

That Can Help Streamline Your Monthly Expenses Everybody is looking to save money and reduce the ever-increasing cost of daily living. Here are some great ideas that can help boost your efforts to cut cost and save cash. 1. Stop purchasing bottled water. Look into a “one-time purchase” water purifier. There are some great choices out there that taste just as good…just do the research. 2. Purchasing a coffee maker will greatly reduce your spending on coffee. For those coffee snobs out there this may have to be a gradual process. 3. Look for credit cards that offer travel rewards for purchases. You can cut the cost of that vacation you planned tremendously! 4. Lower the thermostat in your home to a maximum of 68 degrees. Doing this for an eight-hour period could save you up to 10% off your electric bill. Try using fans on cooler days and let those windows up! 5. Utilize “cash back” programs whenever possible they can save you up to 8% annually on purchases. 6. Consider canceling that costly gym membership with an average monthly cost of $58 and incorporate walking and running into your fitness regime. There are several low-cost alternative in-home gym options as well. 7. Schedule your monthly bill payments for “auto pay”. Many companies offer a discount for having your payments automatically deducted from your checking account or credit card.

THE BORDER WHERE FAITH AND FEAR COLLIDE

O

By: Tamara Gregory

ur heavenly Father has destined you to be an overcomer. I am here to hopefully shed some light on your way if you will extend your faith to receive it. Have you ever gone through an experience that pulled the rug from under your feet but instead of landing you find yourself floating – stuck in limbo in unfamiliar territory. You are usually a happy, hopeful even keeled person but now you find yourself sad, fearful and unstable? A little anxious or even irritable. Life sometimes throws a curveball at your faith so fast and though you fight to remain standing, there are moments that you are not so sure what you believe any more. You have arrived at an impasse, the border where Faith and fear collide. When you encounter those places in life where what you believe and what you confess don’t line up with the weight of your circumstances. It’s not over! When your mind doesn’t believe it. When your body cannot feel it and your circumstances do not reveal if. You just need to have just a little faith that is gangster enough to say to your storms “you are temporary!” I know that it’s hard to imagine God is in it when it gets so tough that it’s hard to breathe-but I am telling you, even when you find yourself in the center of hell God is with you. He is for you and He will deliver you! Ask me how I know.... JUST HOLD ON! Disappointments are a blessing, a

litmus test of sorts. They also sit on the border of the point where your faith and fear and faith collide. God uses our disappointments to develop our faith and the enemy uses them to diminish it. It’s a dichotomy. And, depending on what road you choose standing on that border, the enemy will try to get you to build a wall to keep you out of your blessings, imprison you in your fears and demand that you pay for it. Let me tell you something, don’t fall for that Jedi mind trick .... you are no fool. Fight for your freedom! You’ve been through what you’ve been through, you’ve worn your scars with dignity, and you’ve earned the right to wear your praise as well. Let me tell you something, when you’ve had a Dr. tell you with tears in her eyes if you hadn’t come in when you did, you would have been dead…you’re not playing when you sing “it’s your breath in my lungs so I pour out my praise!” Truthfully speaking…coming to rest at the border where faith and fear resides happens to the best of us. While I have stood in the gap for others during this faith journey, darkness sometimes fill my senses and I want to curl up in a corner and just be-not think, not feel, just be. Anxiety often has my brain spinning at twice the normal speed and based on what I have been through, I should be curled up under a bridge talking to myself… BUT God! People see you looking well put

together on the outside and have no clue of your struggle. Then you show up in the presence of an amazing God acting really undignified and they clutch their pearls. Go ahead and get your freedom! They don’t not know the cost of your praise. They don’t realize how far you had to bend so you wouldn’t break. They can’t count how many times you had to fold so you didn’t crumble. Wild out if you want to! Praise as hard as you can. Lest you forget, give God all the Glory. The grave did not claim you and God is still worthy. The word of God tells us we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. I was already washed in the blood so because I am destined to be an overcomer. Each day that I live I am going to sing of the goodness of God. I don’t care what you think. It does take all that. Despite adversity, when I wake up and look around my home, I see miracle after miracle. So, I am going to rise and call myself blessed. Do not let fear diminish your faith. The word of God tells us tells us that our days are few and full of trouble. It does not matter how many times you have come to rest in the place where faith and fear collide, you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Dare to trust God and believe that His word is true. The Holy Spirit on the inside of you is stronger than any weapon formed against you. It does not matter how many times you must pray and cry. You are assured the victory if you do not give up for after the battle comes the reward. 17

A Sweet Summer Cool Down Milkshakes And Sprinkles

Poetry Speaks “Misunderstood” Trying to explain and remain sane I ponder the alternative to rationality as practicality dictates the mood and the groove so I choose yet brood the consequential outcome of ignorance masquerading as common sen se I scream, I mean really? Insulting my ability and underestimating my agility to bounce back I discern the plan and the band plays on As dismay subsides trying hard to hide I bide the time and continue to ride the wave of uncertainty and philosophical nonsense Should I even try and if so why? So, I sigh and rely on the frailty of the lie They thought I would if sold a bill of goods concede to the falsehood that defines my ability to be free… look again and if you can, imagine it all in a different light, go ahead take flight with me as your guide nothing to hide as we glide into remembrance and subside in the heat of the stark cold night it seemed so right We really thought we could, knowing that we should, still we yet remain misunderstood. Colors crystal clear tell me what you hear truth or dare do they really care ? If it matters where is the evidence indicating the consequence of relativity courting passivity haunting hiding under a hood while you remain …completely misunderstood ANONYMOUS

The Queen’s Couch Destined for Greatness

H

By: Patricia Bunton

ave you ever felt that all of your life you have been looked at as being different? People have called you strange, unusual, out of-the-ordinary, not the norm? Well my Queens…welcome to the club. There is definitely a distinction between the “ordinary” and the “extraordinary”. Ordinary people simply go along to get along. Extraordinary people are willing to go alone if they can’t get along. This divine appointment is undeniable and identifiable early on in the life of great people. You were often labeled as the “strange” child. You didn’t necessarily agree with everything presented to you, and you definitely had an opinion and a voice to represent it. You most likely were a loner and exhibited great creativity and imagination at a very young age. You functioned well in a crowd as well as on your own. However, you prefer being alone with your thoughts and imaginations, and are more often than not, reluctant to readily allow others into your personal space. As a child you were a dreamer. You saw beyond life’s limitations into a dimension where anything you could fathom was possible. You envisioned greatness even then! Your artistic ability caused you to stand out in a crowd. Your wit, charisma and charm, constantly afforded you great privilege among your peers and leaders alike. Your intellect clearly identified you 28

as a force to be reckoned with. Yet, in the midst of this great favor, there remained a tremendous struggle with where you found yourself… and where you were destined be. Destiny is usually birthed in the season of your discontent, that period of time in life when everything seems to be going awry. A Divine restlessness is stirred up in your soul that drives you to reach for something that you cannot identify or even name. A passion for fulfillment that won’t allow you to settle for the status quo any longer propels you to abandon any and everything that does not facilitate this new direction in life that you must now embrace. You are finally willing to forsake all for the sake of the call. You can no longer deny the truth of who you are, and must now begin to embrace the inevitability of God’s purpose for your life.

Suddenly, you get the revelation, and finally come to grips with the reality that you are definitely not ordinary…no-you are truly extraordinary. From this place forward there is no turning back, you have reached the point of no return. You my friend are driven and destined for greatness!! So girl, straighten your crown, shake off the doubt and fear and go ahead and make your mark in this world! We are waiting for you! QUEENS ROCK!!

A Culture of Death By: Connie Weikert

century plagues for a full compliment. It’s no wonder we feel shell shocked. So what is a free society to do? How can we put the genie back in the bottle? Who is going to rescue the last vestiges of liberty? What new concessions will we have to make? The answers will shock you.

A

merica has a problem. A big problem. For nearly two generations we have cultivated a culture of death. Just look at the demands different factions of our society have deemed as “rights” ... Abortion, infanticide, assisted suicide and if you don’t have a living will, eldercide. Now we fear “Do Not Resuscitate” orders from our “next of kin” or the attending physician. In America today just going to the emergency room could get you killed. Then there’s the way we treat those lesser creatures around us... animal abuse is at an apex. Throw away members of society languish on our city streets succumbing to drugs that were created and exported by Communist China, the greatest threat to our sovereignty. Gangs wage war in our streets as leftist groups like Antifa wage war against the political right. Fentanyl created in foreign labs is smuggled into our country as these same leftists fight any attempt to secure our southern border. Crime is out of control in most major cities as police are demonized as “racist pigs.” Everywhere you look it seems as though we have been invaded by mindless drones who can’t think for themselves as they bark out the Socialist Manifesto while knocking you over the head with their “everyone’s welcomed” signs. Average Americans have retreated to their living rooms, glued to the television broadcasting the bad news night, after night, after night. So why are we surprised when all this “death speak” sprouts new diseases? In the last twenty years we’ve seen epidemics such as ZIKA, MERS, SARS, H1N1, Ebola, Dengue fever and Hepatitis A, B and C just to name a few. Yes, a few! Check out the W.H.O. list of twenty first

In case you haven’t noticed they’re coming for your freedom now. Don’t think so? Where are you reading this from? Can you leave and go anywhere you want right now? Who is going to stop you? When will it be ok to go out again? Shake any hands lately? Do you fear the common cold or the person who just sneezed behind you in line? Are you praying they sneezed into their elbow? How many boxes of masks have you ordered online this week? Do you feel free? Are you free? The threat of yet another world-wide pandemic is upon us as the Corona Virus sweeps across borders and oceans, carried on ships, planes and every other mode of transportation. Without clear headed leadership we would be doomed. So why all the push back? It’s not like the virus turns us BRIGHT GREEN allowing those around us to identify the infected. From households to businesses to the very halls of Congress, the Corona Virus moves with impunity. Our thriving economy stopped dead in its tracks. Unemployment has reached into the millions. Hospitals are overrun and our state leaders appear desperate. So why would anyone in their right mind be playing party politics now? Some of you need to ask your leadership! Take note of their lack of cooperation and mentally store it for next November. So back to our original questions, what are we to do? How can we stop an enemy we cannot see? How do we get everyone to work together in an effort to slow the spread and (hopefully) find a cure? What is the answer? As believers we have the answer... WE TURN TO GOD. Yup, that’s right. This one’s in God’s hands. And His hands are more than able. Question is, IS OUR FAITH ABLE? I’m NOT talking about feel good messages or mindless declarations of faith because secretly it hasn’t affected our family or community yet. I’m talking about RAW, UNAPOLOGETIC FAITH.

The kind of faith which moves mountains. Got that yet? Can your faith move mountains? Are you sure? Move any mountains lately? Mind you, I’m not boasting, but as some of you know the Lord allowed me to endure a bona fide test of my faith this past year. After my disabled vet husband died in 2018 the V.A. and Social Security stopped all our retirement income and required me to engage them in a (22) month battle to reinstate the benefits which were mine BY LAW. Yup that’s right, our own government ignored the law and deserted me when I was at my lowest. Three heart attacks later and with the help of Fox News, Rep. Gus Bilirakis and the President of the United States, all our retirement income was reinstated with back surrounded me with a Forever Family when my natural family deserted me and kept my home out of foreclosure for an astounding twenty two months, nearly two years! He gave me a bona fide miracle in spades! Most of all, He took my puny faith and built it into something which got results. The Lord kept His word to me and never deserted me... not for one second. Am I taking credit for possessing such faith? Are you crazy? Faith is a gift from God, and greater faith is refined in His fires! He truly authors, refines and finishes our faith! I am the one who benefitted, that’s it. But as a beneficiary, I would be negligent to not encourage you in your faith. God will keep you and those you love. Trust him. Believe Him. Give Him your faith and ask Him to make it into something beautiful. Something He would desire. Something which He truly delights in! So this is the answer to our question... What are we to do? Now more than ever you need to get real with God. Real, honest questions get real, honest answers and He’ll never lie to you. He’ll never desert you either, not for one second. Though we desert Him all the time, He’s always beckoning us to, “Come away my beloved...” with Him. Go. Go to Him while He still calls you. You love Him and He knows it. He knows YOUR name, He knows you intimately. Get intimate with Him and let Him renew your strength, decorate your life with His blessings and most of all, perfect your faith, cause honey, you need Him now more than ever!

E ARE a unique group of Godly men whose desire is to seek and serve the king. We are comprised of ordinary men with an extraordinary love and commitment to the Lord. Our earnest desire is to be an example to all mankind of strength, courage, commitment and Godly living. This world is overcome with struggles, trials and disappointments. It takes a true man of God or “kingsman” to embrace the journey and be willing to endure to the end. Faith, integrity and Godly character are the guiding force and motivation that consumes our hearts and provokes us to righteousness. In the face of adversity, we are unyielding and steadfast in our determination to weather life’s storms and temptations. We will not be moved nor hindered in our posture of Holiness and right-standing with the Father. We support and encourage our brothers in the Lord to come together in the spirit of brotherhood and Love, and work towards building up and supporting each other. If you know of a man who would benefit from this ministry, please don’t hesitate to share this information with them. The contact information is listed on the page. “BORN TO SERVE…KINGSMEN”
