Automatic self-cleaning cross-flow water filter.

Huzar design is based on the new method of cleaning the filtering net. The filter is of cross-flow type and is based on self cleaning screen filtration technology. The Huzar Filter and the new method is announced to be patented. Water Flow rates: covering water flow range from 5 m3/h to 1000 m3/h. Filtration degrees: the filtering net from 20 mikrons to 500 mikrons Minimum operating pressure: no limits but positive Maximum operating pressure: 10 bars in standard more on demand Maximum operating temperature: 140 C in standard - more on demand Features: - Unique electric drive mechanism, cleaning mechanism, unique construction - Continuous cleaning process of filtering net – non stop opratation - Easy construction, power supply and control. Nominal "Flow" rates are shown for 50 microns for demonstration only. Coarser mikrons ratings (bigger mesh) result in higher allowable flow rates. Finer microns (20 mikrons minimum) result in lower allowable flow rates. Incoming pressure of water and contamination have main influence on flow rates.

General Huzar filter is constructed of stainless steel metal powder painted or covered by baked-on polyester coating. The cleaning mechanism is powered by normal 3 phase small electric motor. The mechanism is ended with cleaning nozzles that continuously clean the filtering net. The net is ordered separately from the best world’s manufactures that use the most modern techniques to satisfy their customers. We can use any filtering surface but we start from 0.25 m2. The minimum filtration degree we can provide is 15-20 mikrons. The filtering process The water enters the INLET for water that we want to clean. Then the stream is divided into: water that passes via the filtration net (limit 20 microns) and dirty water that contains all suspended particles bigger than filtering net. The amount of water which is rejected on DIRTY OUTLET depends on the quality of the inlet water. If the Inlet water is very dirty – more water will be rejected and less water will pass through the filtering net. Practically for normal river water 90% of INLET water can pass to the clean OUTLET and 10% will be rejected. This is standard cross flow filtering method. There is one INLET and two OUTLETS – dirty and clean. If the dirty outlet will be closed then the filter will be blocked immediately. Based on this normal cross-flow process we added continuous cleaning process of the filtering net. We clean the net all the time. This is done by external water pump and rotating cleaning mechanism with nozzles. The cleaning flow is done in the opposite direction to normal filtering direction of the water flow. Self cleaning process The self cleaning process is based on the unique method of washing the filtering net with increased pressure, using nozzles, oppositely to the filtering flow direction. The process is continuous and cleans the net all the time. There is no back flush during that process. The control system. There is no control system. There is a supply electric box with electric protections for the two pumps – supply pump, high pressure pump, manometers showing the pressure before the filter and pressure on the washing nozzles. Power supply is 3 x 400V 50 Hz or 3 x 440V 60 Hz.

Huzar models DOE Huzar product line starts with INLET line of DN25 (1 inch) for 5m3/h. The limitation is the 20 inch pipe and filtering net of 2 square meters (2 m2) and flow of 1000 m3/h for filtering net 100 microns.
