Software development: Our yearbook creation platform, eDesign, makes building spreads easy. And, Canva — the world’s leading digital design program — is built right in. We’re dedicated to moving our software forward with the latest online developments, so you can expect upgrades in our full suite of products to support every aspect of yearbook — including book sales, marketing and photo sharing. Resources and training: From teaching resources to training on page design and Portrait Flow, we host webinars and have a library full of tutorials and pop-up help topics for advisers and students. Learning and teaching our software takes days, not months.

We embrace state-of-the art technologies in both offset and digital presses and surround those machines with highly trained operators who are passionate about yearbook. From prepress to the bindery, our quality-control process is second to none. Our exemplary operations have been housed just outside Kansas City in Edwardsville, Kansas, since 2005. We are G7 Master Color Certified, an annual review process which ensures color consistency and adherence to the most exacting print production standards. In addition, customer images are individually enhanced through our Color Plus process to ensure true skin tones, balanced color and optimal contrast.

Centrally located and all under one roof, our yearbook management, customer service, tech support, creative art and production personnel work together to help you reach your goals.
We use vegetable-based inks in our presses, work hard to limit waste and spoilage and recycle both paper and the plates used in the printing process. We even take advantage of our central location in the US to explore the most efficient and environmentally friendly shipping and supply routes.
As a part of the HJ network, you’ll have a team of helpers — a local representative to get you onboarded, as well as a Customer Service Adviser (CSA) who is committed to your account and will serve as an expert resource as you submit your cover, endsheets and pages to be produced.
