Diabetes WELLNESS magazine is a well-regarded and peer-reviewed source of health and lifestyle information for people with diabetes and their families. Diabetes New Zealand oversees all aspects of the magazine’s editorial and advertising to ensure quality is maintained and readers can trust the brands advertised on its pages. Editorial features to be published in 2018 include: diabetes care and prevention; leg and feet care; eye and skin care; dental care; food and nutrition; weight management; physical activity; diabetes apps, websites, technology; blood pressure and cholesterol care; latest research and treatment breakthroughs; and inspiring stories about Kiwis living with diabetes.
DIABETES.ORG.NZ The website had more than 430,000 visitors last year. Nearly 40% of page views were people looking for information about diabetes and how to live well with it. More than a quarter of page views were to the food and nutrition section.
CONNECT – OUR E-NEWSLETTER Connect is monthly, is emailed to 5000 contacts, and is growing at around 2% per month. Around 36% are unique readers and currently don’t receive a hard copy of our magazine. The advertising that has appeared in Connect to date has a click rate of 15% direct to the advertiser’s website.
