he HUB will present a special evening of musical entertainment, facility tours, silent art auction, live poetry, and networking at their first annual “It’s an us thing” fundraising event, on August 25, 2016. The festivities will be held at our headquarters location at 1336 E. Main Street, Columbus, Ohio 43205 from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Hors d'oeuvres will be served. There will be a silent auction, live band and partner recognition throughout the night. The proceeds will go towards the modernization and expansion of their 20,000 square foot facility, and enhancing the programs and services they provide. The HUB is a centralized resource for clients, and the general public to access job and health fairs, business development opportunities, professional skills training, and other related services. Since their founding in 2010, The HUB has established a centralized workforce and economic development center for the underserved, offering a professional yet unorthodox approach to wrap around social services. They use a customer-centric philosophy to align qualified people with job opportunities, develop small businesses and help them save money, provide onsite and offsite jobreadiness training, and connect like-minded professionals, spurring the economy.
