Nurses graduate

Graduation Day was always a special time for newly graduated nurses at Orange Base Hospital at a time when they were trained at the hospital.

Besides the graduations, several nurses were awarded prizes for outstanding results in exams in various aspects of nursing.

A ceremony was held at the nurses’ home, attended by matron Kerr, deputy matron Field, chairman of the Medical Board Dr Cli ord Colvin hospital secretary Mr Camlin and the Mayoress, Mrs Cassey, plus relations of the nurses.

This photo was taken in February 1958. We would like to know the names of the nurses in this image.
