This guide has been designed to be read in conjunction with our prospectuses and website to provide the key information about the specific training Route in which you are interested.

PROFESSIONAL PILOT TRAINING COURSE The CTC TAKEOFF Integrated CPL/IR Route is a self-funded, professional pilot training course designed to enable aspiring pilots from around the world to benefit from the high standard and enviable reputation of CTC Aviation. As a trainee pilot on this Route you will benefit from our professional approach and receive training through at least two of our Crew Training Centres. Subject to achieving the required standards and meeting specific airline entry criteria, graduates of this Route may be eligible to join our airline placement pool and have the opportunity to benefit from our graduate placement record. En-route through training, you will join fellow trainee airline pilots to experience the skies in spectacular parts of the world as never before; as well as sharing adventures and making new friends that will last a lifetime.

ROUTE PLAN

SUCCESSFUL GRADUATION FROM LEGS 1-4 WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH: 1. Commercial Pilot’s Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR/MEP) 2. ATPL Theoretical Knowledge With these qualifications, you may secure employment as a professional pilot on smaller aircraft that only require a single-pilot. However, you may now be considered to continue your training with CTC Aviation by passing further selection for the Airline Qualification Course (AQC) Leg 5 (additional fees apply).

FROM DAY ONE WITH CTC AVIATION you will find yourself absorbed in a professional training environment where you will be coached to achieve the very highest standards. This CTC TAKEOFF Integrated CPL/IR Route will take you to the completion of Leg 4 (Commercial pilot and Instrument Flight training). Those wishing to pursue an airline career may opt to continue into Leg 5 (Multi-Pilot Flight training) subject to passing an additional selection process. Succesful completion of Leg 5 to airline standards will facilitate entry into our airline placement pool.

BASIC TRAINING


COMPLETION OF ADDITIONAL LEG 5 WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH: 1. Commercial Pilot’s Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR/MEP) 2. ATPL Theoretical Knowledge 3. Airline Qualification Course (AQC) - a Multi-Crew Co-operation (MCC) completion certificate with jet operations training

LEGS 6 TO 7 ARE COMPLETED ONCE A PARTNER AIRLINE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED BY OUR GRADUATE PLACEMENT TEAM Upon joining your airline, you will continue with further ‘Line’ training (carrying passengers) which will conclude with a ‘final line-check’ by your airline training Captain.

These items combined are known as a ‘Frozen’ ATPL and are the minimum entry qualifications to commence a Type Rating and Line training (Legs 6 to 7) to become a First Officer on multi-pilot aircraft with an airline. Completion of AQC to Partner airline standards may enable entry into our airline placement pool which is managed by our graduate placement team.

MULTI-PILOT FLIGHT TRAINING

AIRCRAFT TYPE SPECIFIC TRAINING

LINE FLYING

CTC Aviation’s world-renowned Airline Qualification Course (AQC) incorporating Multi Crew Co-operation (MCC) certificate, advanced handling skills and an Initial Crew Resource Management (CRM) course

Simulator and aircraft training with CTC Aviation/Partner airline

Line Orientated Experience (LOE) and Line Check with Partner airline. You will also complete Safety, Emergency and Procedures training.

The Fee for this Route up to and including Leg 4 is £89,900 including VAT.

� Assessment £245

This course fee is paid in 3 instalments:

� Food and living expenses � EASA Class 1 medical – EASA scale of charges

� The first instalment of £13,100 is due upon signature of your agreement with CTC Aviation � The second instalment of £40,800 is payable 14 weeks after the commencement of training � The 3rd instalment of £36,000 is payable 45 weeks after the commencement of training CTC TAKEOFF pilots achieving CTC Aviation standards through training may wish to apply for placement opportunities upon completion of AQC to Partner airline standards. AQC course cost £9,360 (including accommodation and VAT)

ACCEPTANCE

� Be at least 18 years of age to commence training

� Go to ctcaviation.com/takeoff

� Be fluent in English (verbal and written)

� Click on the ‘Apply now’ button

� Your application will be screened by a member of the CTC TAKEOFF team

� Produce a CRC (Criminal Record Check) basic disclosure certificate before training can commence

� Complete the online application form and click ‘submit’

1 � Be able to obtain an EASA Class 1 medical without restrictions

� You will receive an auto-response to acknowledge receipt of your application You will be required to complete a CTC Aviation aptitude assessment

� Subject to meeting the basic criteria, you will be invited to attend an assessment day at CTC Aviation’s Airline Resourcing & Selection Centre - Dibden Manor, UK � You will be given feedback on your performance to enable you to make an informed decision on your next steps � If you decide to go ahead, you will be asked to complete an online booking form � You will be provided with your payment schedule and your first instalment will be due prior to commencement of training
