BSc (Hons) INFO GUIDE

BSc (Hons)

Professional Aviation Pilot Practice Enhance your CTC WINGS airline pilot career programme with the BSc Hons Professional Aviation Pilot Practice, an innovative degree delivered in partnership by CTC Aviation and Middlesex University. Those who enrol upon the CTC WINGS ‘whitetail’ Integrated ATPL airline pilot career programme have the opportunity to combine an industry endorsed degree with their professional pilot training. It is also possible to integrate the degree into selected CTC WINGS Airline Partner programmes. All aspects of your pilot training experience as you progress through the course will count towards your degree and the programme will also enable you to develop higher-level knowledge, understanding and skills as preparation for becoming a professional pilot. This time efficient degree negates the need to attend a university campus and you’ll gain two professional qualifications (licence and degree) within 3 years. The degree fully integrates all aspects of your pilot training to provide a programme that enables you to reflect on your progress and develop personally and professionally with support for your learning throughout from both Middlesex University and CTC Aviation. In your final year of the degree programme you’ll learn while you earn as a co-pilot with one of CTC Aviation’s Airline Partners. Specifically tailored to suit the professional aviation industry needs, the degree modules will prepare you for responsibilities in and beyond the flight deck and could give you the leading edge for your career trajectory onto management and training management within the airline industry.

“Not only does the degree programme mean that I will be finishing with a degree as well as my ATPL and a career with easyJet, but the funding available because of the programme means that it has taken a huge amount of financial stress away.” Steven Hadley - easyJet co-pilot (CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL ‘whitetail’ programme - 2015)
