CREW TRAINING CENTRE – COVENTRY We are known for producing some of the best ATPL theoretical knowledge results in the industry, and now we have added another string to our ‘ground school’ training bow! Our Crew Training Centre – Coventry is our newest ATPL theoretical knowledge training facility. Based at Coventry airport - previously managed by ‘ProPilot’ – the facility provides us with purpose-built classrooms and a dedicated ground training instructor team. Trainee pilots on either our CTC WINGS airline pilot career programmes or our CTC TAKEOFF Integrated and Modular courses may now complete ATPL theoretical knowledge training at any one of CTC Aviation’s Crew Training Centres equipped specifically for this purpose – Coventry and Southampton in the United Kingdom, or Hamilton in New Zealand. CTC Aviation and ProPilot trainees who have already commenced training will continue with their existing course content and instructor team. We will soon be adding the ability for trainees to study through ‘distance-learning’ ATPL ground school. This is a truly worldwide product and enables us to engage with many thousands of CTC Aviation trainees wherever they may be studying around the globe.

EXCLUSIVE : easyJet Loan Underwriting Scheme IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

easyJet

In an arrangement exclusively available through CTC Aviation, easyJet has announced the introduction of a new ‘easyJet Loan Underwriting Scheme’ The scheme is designed to help newly qualified pilots who are selected to join easyJet, to raise the funds for their final, advanced A320 type rating stage of training. We are proud to have worked with easyJet since its first flights almost 20 years ago and over the years, we have placed over 3,000 pilots with the airline. Over the past 12 months we have placed 93 of our CTC WINGS “whitetail” pilots with easyJet and a further 34 have joined through the CTC WINGS MPL Route in partnership with easyJet.

CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL and CTC TAKEOFF who are selected for easyJet type rating courses will be eligible to apply for the scheme. This new scheme will unlock the opportunity for even more pilots to join easyJet through CTC Aviation’s airline pilot career programmes.

We anticipate a similar number of opportunities for our CTC WINGS graduates over the coming 12 months.

In addition to the unique enhancements offered through CTC Aviation’s Training Sponsorship, this is yet another great reason to choose the CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL as your route to the flight deck.

“WE DON’T HIRE FIRST OFFICERS, WE HIRE FUTURE CAPTAINS” - Ryanair tells aspiring pilots at CTC Aviation Careers Event

Earlier this month we welcomed our newest Partner airline, Ryanair, to our Crew Training Centre – Southampton, UK to speak at our April Careers Event. Our events hall was full of aspiring pilots and their families who turned out to hear from Diarmuid Rogers –Flight Operations Bases Manager and Eoin Field - Pilot Recruitment Officer on the airline pilot training and career opportunities available with the airline, through CTC Aviation. Ryanair announced that they are taking on 700 cadet pilots in next 12 months – currently more than any other European airline - and we are delighted to have been chosen to provide some of those pilots from our airline placement pool and CTC FLEXICREW database. Luke Bennett graduated from CTC Aviation in December 2014 and was one of the first to be selected as a First Officer for Ryanair. Of his placement, Luke says: “When the CTC Aviation gradate placement team notified me of the Ryanair opportunity, I knew that it would be a great place to start my airline pilot career

Diarmuid Rogers - Flight Operations Bases Manager, Ryanair

and the promotion opportunities are excellent. I start type-rating in September and cannot wait to be operating state-of-the art aircraft across one of the largest European route networks.” Currently operating out of 73 bases, Ryanair has projected that this number will grow to 120 over the next 10 years. When combined with the 200 Boeing 737 Max the airline has on order, Ryanair says that this will provide ‘endless’ opportunities for promotion for those who join over the next 10 years. With Ryanair joining our growing list of Partner airlines, there is even more freedom of choice for our graduates. This opportunity is immediately open to pilots who have a valid EASA ‘Frozen ATPL’ obtained through CTC WINGS, CTC TAKEOFF or an alternative EASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO). So, even if you trained elsewhere, but hold an ATPL and meet the Ryanair entry requirements, you can now apply through CTC Aviation for this great career opportunity.
