NEW FUNDING SOLUTIONS FOR CTC WINGS We are delighted to announce that a new financial solution is now exclusively available for those seeking to fund their CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL or MPL airline pilot career programme training. ‘Proflight’ loans provided by Secure Trust Bank, a retail and commercial bank based in the United Kingdom, are secured loans available through ATPL Finance Ltd.
The new loan offers aspiring pilots secured funding for loan amounts ranging from £25,001 to £125,000, providing the potential to fund not only airline pilot career training, but also advanced/type-rating training should such funding be required once we secure your placement with one of our Airline Partners. By providing a 2-year repayment holiday, ‘Proflight’ loans enable aspiring pilots to complete their training, join an Airline Partner as a co-pilot and start earning a salary before they need to make any repayments. Swift decisions Applicants can expect a swift application process, receiving a decision in principle within 48 hours and full confirmation
within approximately 6 weeks. The loans can be guaranteed by a parent or equivalent legal guardian and are secured with a second charge on the gaurantor’s property which must be in England or Wales.* Applicants to CTC Aviation looking to secure funding to support their training now have the option to apply for a range of both secured and unsecured loans from several banks, designed to suit a range of circumstances and routes to the fl ight deck. CTC FLEXICREW ATP PROGRAMME THE ROUTE FOR fATPL HOLDERS 2016 looks tobe a record year for placement opportunites. Our CTC FLEXICREW ATP programme is designed to select and prepare newly-qualified, professional pilots to become eligible for aircraft type rating training and placement by CTC FLEXICREW as a co-pilot with one of our Airline Partners such as easyJet, Monarch Airlines, Flybe and BA CityFlyer.
Last year, we announced the launch of our inaugural CTC WINGS airline pilot career programme in partnership with Wizz Air; designed to take aspiring pilots with no previous flying experience directly to the role of co-pilot, flying Wizz Air A320 aircraft across Europe.
Following a rigorous selection process with both CTC Aviation and Wizz Air, Bence Kàroly has been selected to join the very first Wizz Air airline pilot career programme. From day one of his training, Bence has a conditional offer of employment as an A320 First Officer with Wizz Air. Bence has now begun his theoretical knowledge training with us at our Crew Training Centre – Southampton. His CTC WINGS training will take him on a global journey through our Crew Training Centres in the UK and NZ where he’ll see spectacular parts of the world from the cockpits of our latest generation single and twin engine aircraft. Bence says:
“I’m very excited to be the joining this pioneering programme and experience what it will bring – I’m looking forward to a professional flying career with Wizz Air for many years to come.” Bence will be employed by Wizz Air as he begins his A320 type rating training and looks forward to being based at any one of the fast-growing airline’s 22 bases across Europe; with a route network of 410 (and growing) variety will be the spice of life. Bence is currently on the CTC WINGS Integrated ATPL airline pilot career programme in partnership with Wizz Air – a direct route to the flight deck for aspiring pilots with very little or no flying experience. For those with some flight experience, CTC WINGS provides two further ‘fast-track’ routes to an airline pilot career with Wizz Air. If you’re a frozen ATPL holder from an EASA Approved Training Organisation (ATO), apply today and you could be invited to enrol upon our Airline Qualification Course (AQC). Upon completing the course to the required standard, you will be eligible to be considered for placement with an Airline Partner.
Romain Ziegler joined CTC Aviation on our CTC TAKEOFF modular Route, before applying for the CTC FLEXICREW ATP programme last year. We have now secured placement for him as an A320 co-pilot with easyJet. “Having previously trained in France and the USA, I wanted to join CTC Aviation because of their excellent partnerships with airlines around the globe. I also had great confidence in CTC Aviation’s placement record - I am very pleased to have been placed with easyJet through the CTC FLEXICREW ATP programme. The training delivered on the AQC course was highly professional and I enjoyed the opportunity to train with very experienced instructors – it was both airline focussed and rewarding. My training with CTC Aviation has absolutely prepared me for type-rating and has laid the foundations for operating in a multi-crew environment. I begin A320 type-rating at CTC Aviation on 8 March 2016 and cannot wait to get airborne.”

As an example, easyJet is looking for between 160-200 cadet pilots per year for the next five years. However, their total requirement for 2016 alone is closer to 270 and this will largely be fulfilled by a combination of CTC WINGS ATPL ‘whitetail’ and CTC WINGS MPL graduates, CTC FLEXICREW ATP pilots and direct entry experienced pilots. And that’s just one of the airlines we are working with. The opportunities are most definitely there for applicants with the right training background.”
