We are delighted to have been selected as ‘partner of choice’ by European Pilot Selection and Training (EPST) of the Netherlands to deliver training and placement services for its popular Europilot programme. We will provide professional airline pilot training to ‘frozen’ ATPL standards for up to 50 EPST trainee pilots annually.

Selected trainees will complete their ATPL theory training and examinations at our Crew Training Centre – Southampton before commencing CPL flight training on our fleet of Garmin 1000 equipped Diamond DA40NG and DA42NG aircraft and simulators at our Phoenix Goodyear, Arizona facilities. Trainees will return to the UK to complete Instrument Rating training at our Crew Training Centre - Bournemouth, UK. EPST will work closely with our dedicated airline resourcing team to facilitate airline placement opportunities for the Europilot graduates. Aircraft type rating training will be carried out either by our highlyqualified instructors or the employing Partner airline. Erik Duijkers, Managing Director for EPST said “We are delighted to once again be working in partnership with CTC Aviation. Their team has an innovative and customer-focussed approach to airline pilot training; setting excellent standards at latest generation Crew Training Centres.

“We commit to provide our Europilot applicants with the highest standards of training possible; ensuring that they have the very best opportunities to secure employment with an airline. New London

Gatwick Crew Training Centre for CTC Aviation We are pleased to announce the opening of our latest Crew Training Centre, located at L-3 Link Simulation and Training’s London Gatwick Training Centre. This new centre now brings our Crew Training and Resourcing Centres to a total of six worldwide, with this new addition of London Gatwick representing our fourth in the UK.

Chosen strategically for its convenient location close to London’s Gatwick Airport, the facility is home to a newly manufactured Airbus A320 Level D Full Flight Simulator, provided to us by L-3 Link Simulation and Training. Additionally, an L-3 Boeing 737- 800W simulator is scheduled to be based at the new facility and is expected to be certified in June 2015. The move to expand into London Gatwick comes as a result of significantly increased training demand for both trainee and experienced airline pilots. We have recently agreed partnerships with both Thomas Cook and British Airways to provide type-rating training to CTC WINGS graduate pilots. Furthermore, for British Airways, to exclusively provide A320 type rating training for experienced British Airways pilots converting from other aircraft types.

Training at the facility commenced on the 6th March 2015 with the first trainees at the centre being pilots on the British Airways Future Pilot Programme completing Airbus A320 type rating training. CTC Aviation’s Crew Training Centre – London Gatwick is part of a strategic plan to expand the capacity and provision of our full spectrum of airline pilot training and resourcing services globally. CUSTOMER PROFILE –

British Airways IN PARTNERSHIP WITH

Now in the midst of its fourth intake process, the British Airways Future Pilot Programme continues to be one of the most sought-after career programmes for aspiring airline pilots. This year, British Airways will be enabling more people than ever to pursue this dream career. Where necessary, they are offering to act as a guarantor for successful candidates to secure a bank loan for the required funding.

In an exclusive outsourcing move for British Airways, from March 2015 we will deliver Airbus A320 conversion training for 200 of the airline’s newly qualified and experienced pilots; including those changing aircraft type as they move into command roles.

Since 2011, CTC Aviation (through ‘Airline Placement Limited’ – a wholly owned subsidiary of the CTC Aviation group) - has managed the entire British Airways Future Pilot Programme on behalf of the airline. We also deliver the advanced, Airbus A320 type rating training for all FPP graduates ahead of their move into airline operations.

Lindsay Craig, Manager - Pilot Recruitment for British Airways, said:

Together with the airline we attracted significant media coverage earlier this year as a result of British Airways’ campaign to encourage more women into the airline pilot profession. Filmed at our CTC Aviation Crew Training Centre and Group HQ in Southampton,UK, female CTC WINGS trainees of the last FPP intake were interviewed for a national news feature broadcast in February.

“We are committed to investing in the very best training available to ensure the highest levels of safety and technical and customer service skills for all our pilots.”

At present, British Airways has more female pilots than any other carrier in the UK and in last year’s intake, CTC Aviation placed the highest proportion of female applicants to FPP than any other training organisation; both organisations are determined to see these numbers rise.

“CTC Aviation has been providing a variety of training for our experienced and newly qualified pilots for nearly two decades. They have consistently met our high standards of pilot training that we demand for our customers.

Today, hundreds of CTC Aviation graduate pilots are flying with British Airways; some are now working in flight operations, training and management roles. We are delighted to be providing more pilot training and selection services to British Airways than ever.
