The first half of 2014 was full of great news for CTC Aviation and the next half of the year is looking just as exciting with the installation of a 3rd Airbus full flight simulator. This year we have already seen the launch of our Phoenix Crew Training Centre in the USA, the expansion of our Diamond training fleet, our ‘Clearways’ accommodation extension in New Zealand and a number of new airline partners from around the world requesting our CTC WINGS pilots and advanced airline training support. With many of our customers requiring Airbus training and an increasing number of our Partner airlines choosing to train their new pilots through the Multi-crew Pilot Licence (MPL) Route, we have begun the installation of
an additional Level D full flight Airbus A320 simulator at our Crew Training Centre in Southampton. As part of this process, we are also increasing our ground school training capacity with a new suite of training rooms and we will also be installing new-generation virtual procedure trainers. We’ve got a great team who are working hard to complete the installation and we aim to have our new simulator and training suite up and running by September. International Excellence
CTC Aviation has achieved the “top” rating and endorsement from the UK Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) as a college that “exceeds expectations for the quality of education” for International students. Admission of International airline cadets into training in the UK requires rigorous approval and oversight and we are honoured to have been recognised by the ISI in this way during our recent 3-day inspection. A passage from india Jet Airways joins with CTC Aviation as a Partner airline Jet Airways is a major Indian airline based in Mumbai. It is the second largest airline in India, both in terms of market share and passengers carried operating over 3,000 flights daily to 76 destinations worldwide. We celebrate the decision by Jet Airways to choose CTC Aviation to deliver airline pilot training for their First Officers for B737NG type conversion, as well as specialist courses for their Captains and Instructors at our Crew Training Centre in Southampton. Jet Airways operates a latest-generation fleet of airliners including the B777, A330 and ATRs and of course the trusty B737 which these young co-pilots will fly upon their return to India from their Type Rating training in Southampton; where they have also been enjoying the excitement of this city also famous for travel on the high seas as well as in the air!
