Q&A Namaste is a massage therapy and wellbeing business started up by Acton-based Chloe Jean with the aim of “learning a lot about our bodies and how to take care of them so we can live longer, be stronger and maintain our energy levels to become better versions of ourselves”. In this week’s Q&A she tells us a bit more about her business.

assage is hard work, how did you end up choosing this career path? > Massage found me, I would say. I had jumped around from job to job before this and never really knew what I was passionate about. I was offered an apprenticeship opportunity and never looked back! It was hard work at first – I needed to drink lots of water, eat healthily and keep up with my fitness to maintain my energy levels. You can say massage kicked my butt into shape!

Pitzhanger glow WALPOLE PARK Restoration is underway in the old manor house, Pitzhanger Manor, one-time country retreat of renowned architect Sir John Soane. According to the @Pitzhanger Twitter feed, “fascinating findings� are being made during the conservation work. In the meantime, the manor, a little less lovely with all its scaffolding and netting, continues to bear down over the sunbathers in Walpole Park, Ealing Broadway.

The Workary Hanwell lunch HANWELL It was time to get to know one another better so sharers of The Workary coworking space located in Hanwell Library took a break and headed off to The Viaduct for a pub lunch last Wednesday. Play Cricketforfun South Ealing based cricket club Old Actonians Ladies were thrilled when TV presenter, author and sportswoman Clare Balding stopped by to have a go with the cricket bat while her wife Alice Arnold gamely offered to keep wicket. Clare had just formally opened the Super Saturday of Sport event in Turnham Green, Chiswick, on 16 July.
