For more than two decades at Beyond Travel we have been providing specialty holidays to Eastern Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, The Balkans, Sri Lanka, India, Croatia and Central Asia. These take our clients to many diverse countries and communities exposing them to cultures and ways of life that are very different to our own.

In Sri Lanka, for example, we provided cash donations to sustain regional families for months following the Easter 2019 attacks. In Croatia we contribute to a Down Syndrome Association for every booking made through Beyond Travel and our local partner Katarina Line. And we support our own staff in our volunteer work at home and abroad.

We know that travel can have a positive impact on both the traveller and the places they visit so it has long been our vision to use travel as a means of giving back to communities we encounter.

To achieve this, we are committed to linking each of our tour series to one or more social initiatives that we undertake. Each initiative can be traced back to specific communities or individuals and made visible to our passengers via an App. This way they can see the direct social benefit of their travels. To facilitate these social support initiatives we have appointed an ambassador who will identify communities and people who can benefit from this initiative.

To achieve this vision, a percentage of our profit is devoted to supporting and enriching the lives of others by making a positive impact. That happens at both an international and local level. Whether it’s providing assistance for victims of natural disasters, helping refugees find employment, addressing isolation and loneliness among the elderly or supporting health, education and the environment. There are many areas where we work.

These initiatives support our vision of enriching people’s lives through travel.
